My wife and I have eaten here four times now, and it is certainly one of the best Italian restaurants we’ve ever enjoyed – anywhere! Most recently, we had a party of 16 celebrating the birthday of my father, who is of Sicilian descent.
Don’t miss the risotto balls and bacon-​covered dates as appetizers. This time my entrée was shrimp and pasta with vodka sauce. Superb! Instead of birthday cake, we had them slice up a sheet of tiramisu, which was planted with birthday candles. So, so good!
Their menu is pretty extensive, and I think everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed the dinner, except for my brother, who hates any place that expects you to tip the wait staff. (His favorite restaurant is MCL.)
The service is always pretty good. This night it was excellent, except we were not offered coffee with dessert. I’ll excuse that, as they handled our party efficiently and with aplomb.
The place is not fancy. and it’s placement in the middle of a strip center isn’t impressive I don’t care. I go for the food. Go inside and enjoy their lemon-​drop martinis, as you order your meal. Savor the food at a leisurely pace. You’ll have a wonderful evening.

We were not pleased with most of our experience at J Razzos in Westfield. The only star they get is for the tasty goat cheese appetizer and the friendly service. Otherwise our dinners were either bland or spoiled tasting between the two of us. We won’t return here for any reason.

First off, the food was delicious, which makes it really a shame that the waitstaff turned our evening into a nightmare.
We were a group of 6 women ranging in age from 50’s-70’s. The restaurant was empty, so no pressure there for our waiter. He started off by being friendly, funny and helpful with our drink and entrée selections. The food was delivered to the table and one in the group was not happy with her Bolognese. An odd complaint, she thought it was to «meaty,» but to each his own, right? Not according to our waiter, who got defensive and belligerent the minute she made her preference for some Marinara to add to her dish, After arguing and a tug of war for her plate, she wanted the sauce on the side, he stomped off to the kitchen. As he walked into the kitchen all 6 of us heard him yell, loud & clear,“the F – king b – ch”…on and on. We were horrified to the point of speechlessness. He threw down her side of sauce and reverted back to the really nice guy he was at first. The Dr. Jekyll/​Mr. Hyde routine was truly scary. At the end of the meal he hand wrote in a 20% tip on all our checks. He said because we were a party of 8, we were 6. Another one of our group hands him her payment and tells him she wants the tip removed because she is a «f – king b – ch too.» He starts yelling that he doesn’t know what shes talking about, stomps off into the kitchen yelling about taking the tip off, comes back and completely freaks out on her, yelling and really carrying on, about only making $ 2 an hour and he will have to pay her tip on his taxes, he hopes she is happy etc. It was a scary and bizarre scene. We were the only patrons in the restaurant at this point. The two women he abused walked out and the other waitperson working, a woman, walks over and says she knows him well and he wouldn’t say anything bad. I said all 6 of us clearly heard him refer to our friend as a «f – king b – ch.» She acts all horrified and tells me that she is a Baptist, she can’t tolerate that kind of language and it must have been the Mexicans in the kitchen!!!
This meal was a freak show being run by one deranged waiter, one non-​cursing, Baptist, racist waitress and no manager. We felt lucky to make it out alive.

Great service! Food was delicious, I ordered the Pollo Pepperoni. I am anxious to come back and try another one of the dishes that sounded amazing.

I thought the Food was kinda ok. I was expecting more I guess.
But I ordered something pretty plain, Rigatoni Bolognese… kind of bland… but it was not bad.
We will come back and try something different off of the menu… btw the menu is nearly prefect in size
It’s defiantly Worth a trip in, just order something other than the Bolognese.

Best lasagna in life so far. Tastes fresh and homemade. Perfect meat and cheese balance. Subtle spice. Super sweet waiter. They seemed happy to have me which is big to me. Patient with my stupid questions… I’m very happy I came.

Enjoyed the food. Had the broken ravioli with shrimp. Waiter, Joe, was wonderful and had great suggestions. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. Love the milestone and bean soup. Half price Bottles of wine on Wed. Wonderful tiramisu that was light and fluffy. Will go back again.

Great service, above average food and a neat setting. Will definitely go back. Thought the breadsticks were bland but they were ok. Everyone I was with liked their meals. Veal parm was fantastic!

My husband had the Sausage with Spinach which is his new favorite. I had the Seafood Fettuccine in cream sauce. Delicious! My favorite is Chicken Piccata which is not on the menu but they will make it for you anyway. Also delicious. The hostess and waiter were both very friendly and helpful.

O.M.G. This place is Ah-​mazing!
Even as I sit here stuffed from dinner feeling 8 months pregnant (no, I’m not) I’m thinking of what to try next time I go here. I can’t remember the last time I was this excited about Italian food. (I’m a self-​admitted food snob when it comes to my pasta)
My brother, his partner, and I stopped in on a Friday evening. I have to be honest, I didn’t expect much from a strip mall Italian place. Man was I blown away! The goat cheese marinara was scrumptious! The breadsticks were buttery and delicious and the meatballs in my spaghetti were fabulous! I think I make the best meatballs so anyone who even comes close to them are A-​ok in my book. The marinara was a perfect balance of robust tomato flavor and spice. Just the way I like it. My dinner dates ordered chicken parm and a stuffed ravioli with jalapeño sauce which they throughly enjoyed.
The service was pretty good too. We were greeted by a lovely woman who took us straight to our table on a Friday night. The place wasn’t busy which was lucky for us but it made me nervous about what was to come. The dining room isn’t anything super fancy but it’s dark and well decorated. Our server was hilarious and mostly prompt.
I LOVE this place. Will definitely go back again and again.

I had the spaghetti & meatballs. There was nothing wrong with it, but overall I wasn’t terribly impressed. The marinara sauce was a bit bland for my taste, although the meatballs were decent and flavorful. The issue is probably that I’m comparing this restaurant to Matteo’s in nearby Noblesville, and unfortunately there is no comparison. Service was average and the owner was very friendly, so I’m basing the two stars solely on the quality of the food. I’ll probably try this place again soon, and have something different.

Great food and great service! I can’t believe I have not been here before! I will definitely be back!

My wife and I came randomly on a Thursday night and spent most of dinner nodding our heads about how good it was. A very pleasant surprise! Do yourself a favor and don’t drive to Olive Garden, this place destroys the OG!
I’ll be going back on the norm.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere is good. However, the overpriced food was only mediocre, at best. Nothing tasted made from scratch.

Pleasantly surprised! Took some special friends here on a whim, and it was amazing!!! Service was exceptional, appetizer was phenomenal, and main entrée — unbelievable! The smell from the fresh bread will sell u! I had eggplant parm & spouse had pollo pepperoni — sooo good!
We don’t eat out italian, so we were very pleased to find something so great that was local. We were there for over 2 hours, and didnt feel rushed out. Will definitelyngo back and will.recommend.

We went for the Northside Nights promotion and wow – what great night! Started with calamari and risotto balls followed by duck ragu and salmon with vegetable risotto. Finished with chocolate gelato with cognac. Fantastic service by Sarah, nice atmosphere and a diverse menu with very reasonable prices — we’ll be back!

My family had a great meal here. The food was excellent and the staff very eager to please. They were very accommodating of our four children, including food allergies and spaghetti with just butter on it. We ate on the patio, but I thought the décor was pretty nice when I went inside briefly. We will definitely be back! I see this new restaurant as being very crowded once word gets out. I love that it’s locally owned, too!

Wonderful dinner and exceptional service by Sarah! Restaurant lacked ambiance so we casually mentioned to our waitress that we thought white table cloths would be a great addition. Within 5 minutes the owner was at our table thanking us for the recommendation and letting us know that he would be adding table cloths on Friday and Saturday nights. Wow… an owner that has great food and listens to his customers? Oh yes… we’ll be going there again, and again, and again!!!

J Razzo 2 is a fairly new restaurant in Westfield. My family and I love Italian food and thought we would try it out for Mothers Day 2014. We ate alate lunch so missed the lunch rush.
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service we received. It was all excellent and made for a wonderful Mothers-​day lunch.
At first was disappointed to hear that they had sold out of their salad for their Italian wedged but was then exceedingly impressed 15 to 20 mins later when I discovered they actually went to the store to make sure the provided me with the meal I wanted! Awesome place!
