I don’t understand the negative reviews. I find their clothing to be very upscale and quite unique. In fact, whenever I am wearing an outfit I purchased at SteinMart, I always receive many compliments on their uniqueness. As a result, people think I shop at boutiques. At the same time I have also been fortunate enough to experience substantial savings using their coupons. I have never experienced a problem with this because I do read the fine print to ensure that I am aware of any exclusions. Regarding their sales staff, I have found them to be extremely warm and friendly as well as very helpful to my needs. I would highly recommend SteinMart to anyone looking for an upscale, unique, smart and classy look.

Stein Mart sent you coupons that say 20% off all sale items and you arrive at the cash and the nasty and unfriendly cashier tell you,” you cannot use the coupon on that sale” to me it is miss advertising. Most the clothes are for old people. It cannot beat TGMaxx or Marshall’s. I called in it complain about the coupons problems, asked to talk to the manager and even the suppose to be manager I talked to was very I professional. I can see why they are dying for business.

Very underwhelming. Hit or miss. Not the deals I expected, nor variety. Very very cramped.

I like Stein Mart, I have gone many times to their store on Hilton Head, SC, and tried their Westboruogh store too. First let me say I agree with the previous review, it is an upscale version of Marshalls. However I have bought sport coats, shirts, slippers, coats and many other items .I have always been happy with the quality of the clothes. First they are on racks in good order by size and style and not bunched up like you see at Marshalls. Their shirts seem to be of good quality as is their suits and sportscoats. Sometimes you can see a suit with a shirt and tie set up to give you an idea how you might assemble an outfit and how it might look .I like that. Price? well you might pay around a $ 100 for a sportscoat or $ 150 for a suit(all woolen) so much less than a dept store. If you want good value at a reasonal price but not as big a selection as a dept store, this is the place. As far as surly employees are concerned havent dealt much with them except at checkout.

Epic fail. Hideous clothes, 85 year old women happy with wasting their entire weekend to save 64 cents, and clueless employees.

I admit it. I fell for the loopy commercials with the hyper yet well put together cougars touting the«great deals» at Stein Mart. If by great deals they meant paying $ 70 instead of the«original» $ 105 for bedazzled T-shirts sporting safari graphics, start shoppin’! I am more drawn to classic styles as opposed to appliques, so I was out of luck here. They did have some Michael Kors items and they do carry women’s sizes but I didn’t see enough promising garments to stay longer than a once around before being out the door again. Not impressed by the merchandise or prices. It’s like an «upscale» Marshall’s or TJ Maxx… but you won’t find a diamond in the rough here. Might be a good place to shop for gifts for your Nana, maybe.
