I went here when I was pregnant and was turned off by the owners talking about customers and swearing. Today while in Warwick I thought I would give it another shot. The shop is such a mess it’s overwhelming. I picked up a rattle toy it was marked $ 10. I then picked up a stroller toy and it was $ 15. Mind you I bought this stroller Saturday at toys r us for $ 20. I put it down because it was sticky. I literally had to Purcell my hands. I then went to look at the little people toys, they were dirty. It seemed most everything had food or god knows what on it. I was really grossed out, my husband scooped up my daughter so she couldn’t touch anything. The owner needs to stop playing at the computer and clean what she sells. Ewwww

I stopped into Raggamuffins yesterday eager to find some great deals. Unfortunately, I left empty handed. All of the children’s toys are disgusting, I couldn’t wait to wash my hands upon leaving. Would it be so bad to maybe take some soap and water to them before selling? The clothes are stained and overpriced. A store owner couldn’t possibly show any less effort than this! I had a difficult time navigating the store with my infant daughter because it was a crowded obstacle course with many things to trip over. There were children laying in the middle of aisles, I’m assuming they’re her kids as there weren’t any other customers in the store. The prices were insanely high — some things that were priced the same as if they were new. I was looking to spend good money but she didn’t get a dime from me.

I love consignment stores and live off of them, however I have decided to down grade my review based on a few very important details, 1) There is hardly ever a «sale», everytime I ask what color tags are on sale I get the same answer, «none» and«not for a while». 2) Although the clothing is fairly reasonable the other merchandice is very over priced. A used bike seat that sells new at bennys for 60 was marked 40 and was missing the lap bar. 3) I’m all about saving money, reduce reuse recycle: but there is something about seeing a shop owner, by clothing at savers on discount days, to resell in her own store at a higher price. 4) Lastly, the store is a MESS, many of the clothing items I have found to be in bad shape or stained. The other items are dirty, and with very little care flung about the store. It’s hard to find what you are looking for when you are tripping over things.
