Boom! Best Thai in town. Panang chicken is to die for! Always consistant, always fresh tasting.

I ordered the drunken noodle, medium hot with beef. It was absolutely delicious! My son got the chicken satay with a peanut and cucumber sauce. The sauce comes on the side, which is great because my son only wanted the chicken on a skewer. He loved it, which is a plus in my book. I tried the peanut sauce mixed with cucumber and thought that it was pretty good as well. I wish I had come here sooner. It’s one of the best Thai places that I’ve ever been to. The service is super quick and the dining area is very clean. It was quite the peaceful dining experience considering it was moderately busy. We definitely will be going back!

Well, I’m not familiar with the area for one. And there was a road closure. So after driving around for thirty minutes I found it! It’s a seat yourself kind of place which is fine! I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken medium spiced. Within minutes I had my food! Eureka! It was incredibly flavorful! Not really all that spicy while I was eating it. But I feel some heart burn coming on so it must of been spicier than I thought. The chicken was a little on the dry side but really didn’t kill the dish. All in all it was a really good meal! The service was mostly efficient and very friendly! I’d recommend it to a friend to try, at least once.

Seriously? 4.5 stars? We chose this restaurant tonight based on the Unilocal rating, and were sorely disappointed. Had the Pad Thai and Massaman Curry. Both were syrup-ly sweet. We had even ordered them spicy, and the extra spice didn’t even begin to cut the sweetness. My asian friend did not care for how the rice was prepared either. I was also not thrilled that at a few minutes before 9 they started stacking chairs and tipping tables to mop the floors, and pulled out the grimy trash can for us to view for the remainder of our meal. I love Thai food, and am confused that this place was so well rated. Perhaps people like it because of the generous portion sizes(no complaints there), or because sugar is addicting? Not at all the gem I’d hoped to find.

Best lunch you could ever ask for… $ 6.75 for a huge combo plate of awesome Thai food. Love this place!

This is the fast-food of Thai for sure. BUT it’s really pretty tasty. Portions are huge and lunch is a great deal, $ 6.95 for a plate I can probably finish 1⁄3 of in one sitting. The reason for my «3» is that the atmosphere is pretty generic and and the food is somewhat Americanized. If you’re looking for a «dining experience» this isn’t the place. If you’re looking to get stuffed on affordable curry and rice and you couldn’t care less about the environment, go for it.

HUGEPORTIONS. The best dish at this place is hands down the pineapple chicken fried rice. It’s so good that you’ll want it all for yourself, but promise me when I say you can share this with another person. My friend and I ordered one each for ourselves, but we had enough leftovers to probably last us a few days. The pineapple chicken fried rice is seriously so good though for only $ 10. Perfect combo of savory and a touch of sweet from the pineapple. I’m from Dallas, which is a huge hub for good Asian and Thai food, but I was impressed with this fried rice.
I give this place 5 stars because A. I’ve never been disappointed with the food or the level of service they are genuinely Always so sweet every time I either dine in or order in, I highly recommend this pace for one of the best Thai food place.

Skip this place. Head up the street to Mano Thai This restaurant is not well maintained nor clean. The food lacks traditional Thai flavor. Overpriced for the low quality of this food. I’ll not visit this restaurant again.

I stumbled upon this place after a Costco trip and thought I’d try something new. There was a line out the door! Is this New York?! This isn’t common in SLC. I figured I found a great spot, it being so busy at lunchtime. The line went fast and I ordered what seemed to be popular: the lunch combo. Two entrees, rice, noodles and spring roll for $ 6.85! Soooooo cheap!!! And great portion size too! Gotta love America. So I got the yellow curry and the Penang chicken. Wow. Everything was so good and flavorful and fresh! The sauces were amazing! They even had plum sauce like they have at PHO places. I was loving it. Even the spring roll was good. My daughter was pounding the food. It had a little kick to it but not too spicy. I had enough food to fill me up and then bring some home! On top of it all the service was great they bring your food to your table and also utensils and they even brought me a high chair! So nice! I’ll definitely be back!

Best Pad Thai I’ve ever had and the fried tofu is on point. Hubby said fried rice was also some of the most flavorful he’s ever had. He’s trying Pad See Ew today and I’m back with Pad Thai with Tofu.

Decided to try this restaurant due to all the Unilocal reviews. Came during lunch and got their rice/noodle+2entrees+egg roll. Tried their pineapple pork curry, spicy chicken with bamboo, beef massaman curry, and spicy beef basil stir fry. The first two definitely had a kick to it. Overall these entrees had a decent amount of flavor to them but nothing to brag about. These lunch entrees are already made and ready to be scooped onto your plate, with that being said, it would be unfortunate for those who would like to try some of their entrees but can’t due to spice levels. We also ordered a hot beef pad see ewe to go. Made the mistake of not checking inside the box before leaving. Once we got home, it was realized that we had received chicken instead. The pad see ewe was probably the best entrée we had compared to the others. The spice and flavor levels were definitely on point. Overall we thought this restaurant was okay. A good place if you just want to grab a quick decently priced thai lunch.

This is my new favorite Thai place! It does not have a ton of selection but what it offers it does very well. The ambiance reminds me of Seinfeld’s «Soup Nazi.» When you walk into the place you are expected to know how things work(and I did not, so it was a bit awkward). So here is how it works… You would think the entrance of the restaurant is along 300 West… well this is not really the case; the 300 west door is actually the back entrance. The real entrance is accessed through the parking lot in back. You can still enter through 300 west door but you will need to make your way through the restaurant to find the back of the line. The best time to visit the restaurant is during the lunch special(11am-2pm, M-F) and this is really when Soup Nazi sets in. So to properly order your lunch meal, you need to go to the back of the restaurant(east side). For the lunch special you choose rice or noodles, or a combo of ½ and ½(which seems to be what most people do), and then two entrees. The entrees are primarily curry dishes and a few wok dishes. These are very good and you won’t go wrong with any particular choice. Plus, portion sizes are huge. You can also order off of the a la carte menu. Both offer generous portions and high quality ingredients, After you order and you are at the register paying for your meal, one of the servers will set a table for you and take your food to that table. So by the time you are finished paying for your food, your table is waiting for you. No need for you to reserve a table on your own. Really, the best thing about this place is the variety of people that eat here. I really found it fascinating how many military service members were eating here. I overheard one individual say that this was the closest thing he could get to what he experienced oversees. I take this as a huge compliment. Also, when they say spicy, it is spicy. A huge plus in my book but something to consider when ordering.

A hole in the wall kind of place with great tasting dishes. Sprung for the Massaman curry, Penang curry, Thai fried rice and pad kee mao between the four of us and the food tasted authentic and portions were very generous. If you’re looking for the nicest sit down place this won’t be it, but what it lacks in ambience it makes up in flavor easily. Would definitely recommend!

I love it here!!! I live for their musamman curry and fresh spring rolls. The service is good. The place is okay… But the food is what hits a home run here. I’ve also had the pad kee Mao and fried rice which I found both to be very good. I usually get Thai tea with my meal as well… Be forewarned that the tea is sweeter than most Thai places(in my opinion) I would recommend to anyone looking for a good Thai place! Hole in the wall, super authentic spot.

Came here because of its high rating and good reviews. However, I have to say I’m disappointed. We ordered pineapple curry with tofu, pad thai, and thai iced tea. Thai Iced Tea– Too sweet! Even people like me with a big sweet tooth couldn’t stand its sweetness. It’s like drinking syrup. I had to mix in half cup of water to water down the sweetness. Pineapple Curry with Tofu– I ordered mild and they gave me spicy. Besides that, it’s a decent dish. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either. Pad Thai– I ordered this because a Unilocaler said it’s the best in the city. I’m sorry that I have to disagree with her. Same problem as the Thai iced tea. Too sweet, and the sauce tasted like those pad thai sauce you can get in any grocery store. I definitely have had better pad thai than this one. Overall, even though this place has a lot of people, I think it is over-rated.

I use to come here all the time for lunch when I use to work close by. I can’t get enough of their curry(which I’ve tried it all and I like it more spicy than sweet!). Their spring rolls are awesome if I can remember the last time I had it. I like their Thai tea too whenever I’m craving for something sweet. If you want more rice it’s only $ 1 for a very good portion. Overall I like them and definitely will come back whenever I’m in the area or craving me some Thai goodness haha.
