Venera European Market

Very nice store in this part of town! Nice owners, great customer service! Great variety of russian and european food and candies! Definitely will come back again!

Happy to see they’re finally back open after an incident which caused them to close for several months. It’s a very small shop in the Country West Shopping Center (where the Dollar Tree & Goodwill is located) where parking is easier to find towards the back. The young gentleman was very helpful in explaining items that didn’t have any English on them to identify what the contents were inside. I was mostly able to deduce what some items were by looking at the ingredient labels. Most of the items are of Russian origin. I came in looking for European sardines & anchovies since we’ve been missing the food from our recent trip to Barcelona. They had a few to choose from as well as other canned goods that wouldn’t be found in your regular supermarket. There a lot of European candies on one side of the store and in the glass display are quite a few house made desserts as well. Definitely stop in to take a look at their simple offerings. A few other refrigerated items that I couldn’t tell what they were as well, so I guess you gotta find your yourself!

This place is a gem ! Anything from almond milk to deli stuff. I found the most deluxe caramel cookies and can’t wait to come back and check out their deli section.

Great Prices. Good variety. Fresh Milk, Cheese and meat products; nice selection of Russian and European candy, cookies, and pastries. Delicious home made cakes. Very friendly and helpful staff. By far my favorite European/​Russian store (worth a long drive from out of town).

Wow, what a great place! The best candies, the best hot Russian delicacies and wow, the meat selection. Such great sausage and ice cream! Plus no charge on credit cards.
