West Sacramento, CA
I like coming to El Mercado Loco because they have lots of fresh produce and their carniceria is good. This is a Mexican grocer/​meat market, they have everything here. I like to stop by when i need a few items for dinner.
They have a large selection of marinated meat, also fish & ceviche, and Mexican cheese. They also have specials on meat packages. Some of my favorites are the smoked pork chops (chuletas ahumadas), all of their salsas are good too. They also have Mexican bread and cakes.
Overall, the store is clean and the employees are friendly. The butchers can help you if you have questions on meat cuts and prep. I’ll have to post more pictures next time I’m in :)
