Mountain Mike’s Pizza

Health department should check this place out. Ate here last night and was sick to my stomach the rest of it. Me being the moron I am thought it was maybe something I ate earlier in the day. Decided to wake up and eat the rest of it and within a few hours was completely sick again.

We just had a birthday party there and it was so much fun. The staff was great. I think one gal’s name was Vanessa? She was so cool. On top of everything. She kept checking on us and very helpful. Pizza, wings, jalapeño poppers and salad bar was yummy! The whole place was very clean.
The only issue I have: there are games for the kiddos to enjoy, but they’re placed in kind of a blind spot away from all the tables and near a back door. One of the small ones could easily sneak away. Just be extra careful and keep an eye on all the little kids.

I’m not sure what has happened to this place the pizza used to be good but last night we ordered chicken and artichoke and bread sticks for delivery and it tasted like cardboard, I mean seriously the worst pizza I have ever ordered I’m so disappointed I have had other mountain mikes and it was wonderful so I’m unsure if it’s the staff or whoever is making the pizzas but something should change quick…

I’ve been eating mountain mikes pizza for as long as I can remember and I’ve never had any complaints until recently. I had ordered two pizzas for my family, one pepperoni and one was a specialty pizza with chicken and bacon. On the specialty pizza I ordered extra cheese and extra sauce, just to find that when I got home with my pizzas, the chicken one was practically raw in the center! Since my whole family had grabbed slices of this pizza, I only had about half of the pizza still in the box. I contacted the store to let them know of the raw pizza and they ask that we bring the half pizza in order to get a new one. Weird, but ok sure why not. We bring in the pizza and the manager comes out to inspect the pizza. He then let’s us know that if we order extra sauce on the pizza then we should ask them to cook it longer so it wouldn’t be raw. So apparently WE are supposed to know that if we order extra sauce the pizza won’t cook all the way and WE must request that they cook the pizza longer. The manager then says to come in when we would like the pizza remade and it will be on the house. My mother just called to get this pizza just to be told there is no record of this mistake in their system and there is nothing they can do to rectify their mistake. So now we are left very disappointed and we will never be ordering from this establishment ever again.

I give up on this place for the pizza buffet. I went in recently — only to find two measly pieces of pizza left. I asked if they were putting out more pizzas. I was assured yes. They brought out one pepperoni pizza — nothing else. I waited for a while and nothing else was put out.
I’ve been several times before and quite often, I am disappointed with the lack of selection.
I like their pizza — but a pizza buffet without much pizza is a no-​go for me.

The family comes here all the time. With the newer types of pizza such as the sizzling bacon classic to the pineapple luau pizza it brings the normal pizza experience up a notch. I listen to the three clerk ladies talk about having a better «service» mark as I waited for the family’s order. When my pizza came it was delivered by the girl that had all the ideas to improve their service– she never asked if we need cheese or pepper. I ended up getting the cayenne pepper myself and had to send my daughter for the parmesan cheese. Laughing to myself about how they could make how they serve you while savoring the delicious pizza was the most amusing part of my day.

I am sitting in mountain mike’s right now. I paid for the lunch buffet. I wish I hadn’t. Not many customers, but Dirty empty booths, no forks (I asked for one and they gave it to me and then put only one other fork in the utensil holder), no lettuce in the salad bar, only one pepper flake shaker for the whole restaurant, and NOT EVEN ONE SLICE OF PIZZA IN THE BUFFET! And the staff is just walking around doing nothing while trying to act busy. Will never be back.

We order pizza here occasionally and have always received delicious hot pizza at a reasonable price. Also the customer service is pretty good and they are very fast.

Business could use a little fixing up, love their combination pizza!!! Regular stop after week nite soccer games.

This is not a bad place. The lunch buffet is great and it never seems to be crowded during the week. They have a nice Salad Bar and they keep the Pizza coming.
The parking at this location SUCKS to put it lightly! There is very limited parking and you often have to park far away.
The service is like fast food. Place your order and pay at the counter, DONE! No one will speak to you or bother you again… even when you leave, there is no «Thanks for coming in» or «Have a good day» so come here for the food, not the hospitality!!!

Wow. The pizza here is fine, but boy is their customer service lacking. I spent quite some time trying to make the website work, and when it didn’t I figured I’d call to order instead. Less convenient, but whatever, right?
I spent nearly 10 minutes on hold, then finally got an answer from a woman working the phones who was incredibly rude. It took ages to get her to actually understand anything I was saying and then she said it would be there in 45 minutes and hung up on me when I was halfway through a question about the website. Absolutely terrible.

After receiving our order both LATE and WRONG, we called in to your location and were told it wasn’t your problem. After calmly explaining our frustration and asking when the correct order can be sent, we were told that we could just order our pizza elsewhere. In the future, we absolutely will. I will relish in not only never ordering from your establishment again but also in spreading the word about how you treat loyal customers. Thanks again!

Still a dog and getting worse. Something is wrong here. No pizza made for lunch so a 20 minute wait for them to make some. They regulate what their customers can have by not providing food and waiting them out. We watched them survey the customers to see how little they could offer. Officially done with this place. Way too many other choices in this center to pay for lack of service and food.

Pizza value at a price. Best way to describe their buffet. For $ 5.99 you get everything you would at Round Table, but the amount of pizza out at one time is nowhere near what Round Table does. 1 – 3 pizzas is the most you will ever see out on the buffet (but don’t be surprised if it’s only 1.) Be patient and be prepared to wait. Buffet goes until 2 but I’d go before 1 because the pizzas come out too slowly after that. Don’t expect them to bust out fresh pizzas for you when you walk in at the last minute. Mountain Mike’s is the poor man’s Round Table.

When I was younger, I used to hate MM’s. Somehow, my palate did a 180 and Mountain Mike’s has become my absolute favorite. Their pizza crust is crisp, the dough soft, the cheese melt-​y, the pepperoni small, curled, crispy, and spicy! Have you tried the Chicken Club pizza? Do it. Just drop everything you’re doing and eat this. You might as well get a Mountain size because you’re going to be addicted to it like a cat on catnip, a seagull on french fries, or a bear on honey. It’s the orange soda to your Kel; the picnic basket to your Yogi… get the picture?
The pizza has excellent re-​heat value too. Which I consider to be a crucial characteristic of good pizza because, lets face it, even when you’re eating alone, you’re gonna end up with a big pizza, we all do it.
As far as this particular location goes, it’s pretty standard. Fairly friendly service, booths and tables that accommodate large or small crowds, salad bar, pizza buffet lunch, televisions, etc. In my experience most Mountain Mike’s restaurants are more or less the same.
They usually have coupons for some pretty sweet deals. You can get them online too (and some locations let you order online).
Honestly though, the pizza is so darn delectably delicious, I wouldn’t care if the wait-​staff spit in my face, as long as the pizza was spit-​free, hot, and ALL FOR ME.
*I don’t get why so many people say they hate the pizza here. It’s way better than the cheap stuff (Little Caesar’s, Pizza hut) and not as pricey as the so-​called good stuff (Round Table, for instance). Every one of my friends has always enjoyed MM’s.*

I hate to do this because I have always liked this location for good pizza for my family on busy weekdays. I love the coupons they put out and it makes me feel less bad about not cooking dinner…
HOWEVER…
I picked up pizza on Friday night, the all meat specialty. I am absolutely sure the meat was not right. After a half piece I thought it tasted pretty off and I was not well the next morning.

Shift-​trade at work gave me an earlier lunch at 1 and Mountain Mikes offers a pizza buffet until 2 PM? Count me in.
Pizza was alright, but the part that grinds my gears is that me and a two co-​workers went and during that last hour of the buffet not a single, fresh pizza came out. We were forced to eat what was leftover being kept «hot» by a warming lamp. It just looked really sad and pathetic. The salad bar is average. They have a good selection but I had a problem the lettuce. There looked to be more white than green.
Round Table Pizza lunch buffet reigns supreme. I wish there were one closer.

The parking lot here is crazy, and a little ghetto, but the pizza here is soooo much better than anywhere else.
I love gourging at the buffet, all you can eat for about $ 8, salad drink and pizza. And unlike other pizza buffets, they keep it well stocked with meat.
I have never had a pizza delivered from here, I pick them up. The pizza’s are always hot and delicous, and soooo much more flavorful than than cardboard monkey puke from Round Table.
The bahtrooms are ghetto, with plenty of local flaire (tagging), as are several of the booths, but the pizza here rocks, and the area this place is in might be like a freeway but it is safe.
