Easy to miss but well worth trying, Taste of Europe is a Polish-style deli that also functions as a small convenience store for Euro foods and drinks. But I come for the deli meats which are delicious. Even though they aren’t technically a sub shop they will make you a sandwich upon request. $ 7.30 for a nice size sandwich with chips and pickles. They have many different kinds of Kielbasa, ham, and other meats like headcheese and liver sausage that you won’t find at a regular sandwich shop. Their prices are reasonable and owner is helpful if you aren’t familiar with the different options. Only a few places to sit outside but a good place to grab lunch or some meat to take home. Look for the red and white Polish flag out front.

I was so impressed with the deli and their prices not to mention the customer service of the owner. I’m telling everyone about this place! He took his time, gave us samples, explained the different products, including the beer! Some products like the liverwurst and franks are made in the USA under license and other products imported. The«king’s» swiss cheese is the best I have tasted in the USA and I am spoiled having lived in a few countries in Europe for a while. I highly recommend this deli but try to go on a weekday so that you have time to sample the goodies. This is THE place to go for deli meats, cheeses AND salmon roe at a decent price! and don’t forget to try the divine blood sausage(we prefer the German over the Polish). Now I go to Shoppes at Atlantis to the Polar Bakery for Scandinavian breads and Taste of Europe for the toppings! I highly recommend and yes, it was funny to see so many Knorr mixes without English translation but hey, that’s makes for a fun ‘mystery’ meal!

Just stopped by after bookmarking this place months ago. Sandwich is delicious! Someone else mentioned they don’t have a menu or anything. I’m unimaginative sometimes so menus help me personally, but they’ll make you whatever you ask for. There is a serious lack of English in here! lol Most of the products don’t have any English on them, or it’s hard to find. which is comical. I basically just grabbed a bunch of random candy(some types of which I may have deciphered from the pictures) and a couple types of Pierogis from the freezer which I CAN’T WAIT to try! Staff was friendly. Small, mom and pop kinda place, very clean, I’ll definitely be back.

A funny thing happened to me on the way to lunch. I stopped by this nice Polish deli, and looked excitedly at the wide variety of specialty cold cuts in the case. I asked the very nice deli man what was the meat I was pointing to, and he replied«ham». Very well, what was the one next to it, and he replied“ham”. I then went to the other end of the case and pointed to a very different looking roll of meat and again asked what that one was, and he replied“ham”. I then left without a sandwich…

Yeah! Got a great fresh sub for lunch! Nice combination of smoked ham and turkey and some other«prosciutto –type» meats. Too much to finish and $ 6.89! I will be back! Really clean place, from the front to bathroom! I like that. Very nice service and attention to detail. Yes!

WOW! What a find! After much orbiting and Sunday disappointment, we finally made it to Taste of Europe on a Saturday during business hours. What a gem! When you walk in, it’s almost as if you have been transported to Poland. Mind you, I have never been to Poland, BUT in my mind’s eye, Poland looks like Taste of Europe. The little shop is a feast for the eyes. Everyone you look lie interesting cookies, cakes, pickles, soups, jams and the like from eastern Europe. The best part of our visit, though, was the sandwich experience. Confession: we had no idea what to get at a Polish deli. However, this was totally not a problem. Our hostess dove into the case and just started slicing off all sorts of samples. It was pretty darned awesome. Once we chose our sandwich meats, she then proceeded to make the BIGGESTSANDWICHES I’D EVERSEEN. My sandwich was so big that it had to occupy two rolls. Unreal. Also unreal were the little pickles, which had this unique zing. I loved the whole experience. We even picked up these little raspberry-stuffed donut-like pastries for dessert. Big win, ToED. We’ll be back to be sure!

Very nice, little, quaint European Deli. The staff is nice and helpful and the prices are fair, considering how many specialty items have to be imported. Highly recommended!
