At this small bakery/restaurant you’ll find a mix of foods from mostly Argentina, but also some dishes from Uruguay and Colombia. The Argentinian empanadas were very good. I personally don’t care for Colombian food, so didn’t even care to order any of those dishes. The parrilla for 1 person was large enough to feed 2 people with a normal appetite. The meat was ok. Service was friendly and relatively prompt even though it was a game night and they were quite busy.

This Review is for the location in Royal Palm Beach. If you are looking for this restaurant, the signage you see from the road says Latin Restaurant. Came here for lunch, and had a truly wonderful meal. The Cubans are incredibly good, and the Chivito sandwich is HUGE and amazingly flavorful! Shared a lovely dessert with my husband(the dulce de leche is so good). They have baked goods and bread you can buy. Prices are very reasonable($ 4.50 for the Cuban sandwich). We are here for the winter equestrian season, and our condo is down the street. We will go back often to work our way through the restaurant. Great neighborhood find!

Both times I was here the waitress with the long black hair is so slow and rude. I will not be returning to this place ever again. The service is better at McDonald’s. I wasn’t ready to order and I asked for five minutes, five minutes turn into no joke 15 mins and we called her over she looked and ignored us. This place is ghetto too.

First time eating a Chivito. It was very tasty and the Filet Mignon was so tender! Fried Yucca was done perfectly. Also had a baked meat empanada and it also was very tasty. The pastries looked wonderful but they are for another trip! Very pleasant staff and order came out quickly. Will be back again!!!

Very good cuban sandwitches, but ordered the chicken with mushroom sauce it was disgusting, chicken super dry and the sauce tasted like nothing, salad old lettice, tomatoes tasted funny, not very consistent with their food, dont think I would go back maybe just for the cuban sandwitch

Aside from the wonderful Uruguayan chivito, skirt steak and pastries, Al Pan Pan offers a great«cantina» service. It doesn’t work like other places– it’s even better! For $ 32 you purchase a 5-meal plan. You can use it Monday through Friday consecutively(the traditional way) or not. You can even order one lunch or two(and save it for dinner takeout) on the same day. The meal plan balance carries over if you don’t get a chance to use it in one week. Today’s special was tilapia or parga roja(snapper) broiled or fried, salad, plantains, white rice, bread and soup. That’s a lot of wholesome food for $ 6.40(a bit more if you’re not on the cantina plan). Just make sure to call-in your order before they run out(by noon is best)!!!

I have been looking for an Argentinian restaurant without having to go into Miami for quite some time. Now the spot is not a full blown steak house, rather a small cozy operation. It is located on a strip mall on Military and Summit. The service was great. Very friendly staff. I went here last week for lunch with a coworker and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. I ordered a steak sandwich that had a fried egg in in with bacon and sauteed onions. It was DEE lishious and came with fries. My coworker ordered the Churrasco and said it was very good. Much better than something you would find at Don Ramon or Havana. It was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Let me add that both were very reasonably priced. My sandwich was like 9 bucks and the churrasco was like 13 bucks and was accompanied with rice and beans. We were so full we did not get a chance to try the pastries but they had quite a selection. Next time!

I brought my wife and 17y.o. daughter to Al Pan Pan on Saturday for lunch. The place was extremely clean and well staffed. The atmosphere and aromas were wonderful! They were quite busy, but they seated us and quickly brought us menus and beverages. Then our server patiently explained any questions we had about any dishes. My wife and I decided on the Chivito sandwich, and our daughter had the Milanese chicken. The Chivito was very good, with filet mignon, ham, bacon, fried egg, onion, red pepper, lettuce, tomato. BUT, it might have been wiser for us to split one between us! It was HUGE! The Milanese chicken was excellent according to my daughter. The only thing we forgot to do was leave room for all of the great fresh pastries and breads they have, but we did buy a box of them to bring home. Our experience here was wonderful, with the staff making you feel at home, and the great food, we will be heading back soon… maybe try their breakfast!

Al Pan Pan offers the eater a nice trip to South America with a clean and vibrant atmosphere. The Chivito sandwich was a monster but full of flavor so long as you don’t mind a heavy sandwich. Lots of pastries for those with a sweet tooth. Plenty of regulars come and go throughout the lunch hour making this a very nice place to enjoy lunch trying out new flavors. If your looking for the most famous food in Uruguay, you’ve come to the right place. Enjoy.
