Bindu Yoga Studio

Angel Lucia’s new yoga studio now at 5808 S Dixie Highway in West Palm (across the street from her old location) is beautiful and serene. She has thought of everything in the décor, in terms of color and harmony. The textured faux wood floor is perfect for practice and the surrounding art and flowers and the whiff of scented candles are lovely.
More important are the yoga practices, which are the best I have experienced. Angel is an astonishing and inspiring teacher. The spiritual elements of her classes are insightful. But don’t be fooled. The rigorous physicality of the vinyasas and asanas are challenging, but always fun and playful. The studio is pleasantly warm with an occasional cooling breeze from the AC. But I am usually dripping with sweat from the exertion and challenge. Then come wonderful stretches and the wind down to a peaceful shavasana. You feel refreshed and happy. What more could you ask from a practice?
The other teachers and staff are also very competent, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed meeting Jessie, and taking classes with Maureen and ZuleMarie («Z»).
Overall, a real gem for locals or snowbirds like me. Thank you Angel.
