While I don’t like writing bad reviews, I feel have to be honest. A group of us had high tea one afternoon. The atmosphere is quaint and cluttered, mismatched china etc. Our high tea started with a selection of tea, served in individual teapots. After that we had a choice of 2 soups, both mine and our dining companions were pretty bad, too salty and lacking taste. Then came the high tea service, basically some tiny sandwiches, which were all pretty bland and awful. The 4 scones were supposed to be fresh but they were hard and tasteless, although warm. They came with lemon curd(which was so bitter) and what they called«cream». Again, fail! Then let’s get to top tier of the platter, an assortment of tiny desserts which tasted and looked like they were from the frozen food section of Costco. Our bill was over a $ 100 for 4 of us. So incredibly overpriced for what we got! I truly do not understand any of the positive reviews for this place. Maybe if I were 5 years old and playing tea party and didn’t care how the«food» tasted, I would go here. But as a European, accustomed to tea and good food, I cannot recommend this place, and for $ 100 I sure expect much more than some tiny sandwiches, and prepackaged desserts.

Such a cute venue. This place is tucked away on a side street off Dixie. It’s a historic home, actually, beautifully decorated with hats and antiques. The tea and food are amazing. Highly recommended.

Very lovely atmosphere! Food and service were superb. We had the apple and fig tea, and a trio of curry chicken salad, quiche and green salad with raspberry vinegarette dressing. The carrot cake was decadent!

Went for high tea and had the best time! The décor is just wonderful– vintage cottage style and very welcoming. The tea and tier of food was delicious– traditionally British which was great. There was a wide variety of teas available. The staff was all very nice and accommodating. The price was reasonable for high tea as well. A fun bonus– there are even fancy hats available for anyone to wear during tea.

This is such a beautiful tea house, with an amazing high tea and an incredible and attentive group of servers. During an unexpected visit from out of town, my mom wanted to drive me from our home in Miami to this location in West Palm Beach, and I am so glad she did. Audrey recognized my mom immediately from her first visit, and could not have been sweeter or more welcoming. Our waitress was so kind and helpful, I wish I had gotten her name! And the ambience feels like something out of Alice in Wonderland –each tea cup and flower is artfully placed and you could feel the joy emanating from the whole place. Overall, Serenity Garden Tea House is a completely gorgeous place inside and out, with an amazing host and an awesome and reasonably priced high tea to boot! If you’re looking for a place to celebrate with the girls, or just need a couple hours away from the real world, look no further. Can’t wait to come back during my next visit home, totally worth the drive from Miami!

This is such a wonderful place. This is the second time I’ve been there in a month. The food is impeccable and so is the service. I had the the best quiche I have ever eaten, it was so delicious I even took one home for my family. The décor is so adorable, it puts a smile on everyone’s face. I can’t wait to go back. This is the place to visit in West Palm Beach!

I took my family and twin 9 year nieces to Serenity Garden Tea House yesterday and we had the best of times. The girls of all ages loved wearing the hats, the kids had tot tea meals the adults had scones, clotted cream and preserves. The tea was excellent, the food was great, Audrey(the owner) and laura went out of their way to make sure everything to our liking. I find this through a review and hope when others read my review it will encourage them to go here too. I will gladly go back.

If you’re looking for a place that is quaint, delicate, and delicious, this would be it. You can bring groups or have a mother-daughter date if you’d like. They have an enormous selection of teas to choose from and excellent sandwiches. It was an absolutely lovely experience.

My favorite tea place! I have been there twice and I’m always wanting to go back to bring my grandmother with me. This is a place that takes you back in time. It’s so relaxing to sit down and chat while having tea. Also love their salads, quiche, and sweet potato soup.

Took advantage of Unilocal deal to bring my mom for high tea on her birthday. Happy to say other reports are right on the money: lovely old house, excellent brewed while you wait tea and fresh scones, wonderful service and hospitality. High tea is a great value and best for one’s first visit though next time we will likely just get cream tea with lunch from the a la carte menu. But there definitely will be a next time.

I LOVE this place! My lovely mother in law took me here for tea because she knows how much I enjoy high tea. The owner Audrey is very professional(my mother in law made the reservations online — through Unilocal– and the owner called to confirm the reservations and even called the day before and the day of to remind her. Audrey is very up to date with technology, for those Unilocalers who are like me(your phone sticks to you like gum on shoe). There was a huge party of 40 people or so who were also there and Audrey told my mother in law beforehand that there would be a big party and if that would be a problem for us. The more the merrier! :) We sat outside on the patio because the entire party took up the whole room I guess. It worked out better because we had our own private space, it was in the shade and our waitress Shannon was a doll! She checked on us periodically, in fact several people checked on us throughout the course of our time there — we felt very welcomed and very well looked after. Everyone was very gracious, and prompt. The soup of the day was sweet potato and peach. O-m-g… :-O sooooooooooooooooooooo Good!!! They also have tomato bisque, Shannon told me it was thick. I like my tomato bisque/basil soup runny(more brothy) than pastey. I was told the consistency here was more pastey and thick. So my mother in law and I opted for sweet potato and peach soup instead, SO glad we did!!! We decided to have their High Tea(which you have to call in advance and let them know you are having that so that they can accommodate you). My mother in law didn’t tell Audre beforehand because she didn’t know what I wanted to have/do. But after Shannon asked Audrey, we were good to go! We were told it would take a while for the stuff to be prepared but it came out much faster than we expected. The scones were AMAZING! So nice and hot, the lemon curd were REAL(none of the ones from the jar that you see at the store) and the Devonshire cream were very good as well. I loved all the sandwiches! Very good selections, and very well seasoned, prepared and presented. The desserts were also wonderful, we got real petit fours!(For those who don’t know what petit fours are, the best description of them are small one inch cakes that is all covered with yummy frosting. Very very good!) I told Adurey at the end of the meal that I’m definitely coming back! And my mother in law will be coming back regularly with her girlfriends when they go to the Norton. Originally my mother in law wasn’t that excited about here because she said 4 years ago she came and it was hot and the service and the food was just okay and she and her friends decided they weren’t coming back. As it turns out Audrey just took over this place not so long ago and made some huge changes such as putting in AC and upgrading the menu. I really really like this place! I wished I live in West Palm Beach! =) Looking forward to coming back! Cheers!

I heard they had corrected their a/c issue so I decided to go to lunch this week. I emailed and made a reservation and they had a table waiting for me. The tearoom is really cute with mismatched furniture and hats you can wear. You can do traditional high tea or have salad, sandwiches, soups from the lunch menu. I started with the potato/cauliflower soup. It was creamy and with a hint of fennel. A cup is small, but it won’t make you too full for your meal. I had the tea sandwiches for my entrée. You get a variety of small sandwiches: tuna, cucumber, egg, etc. They were good, but about $ 14. You also get a small mixed salad in the middle of the plate. The dessert is what blew me away! Get the Coconut Cream Cake!!! It should be called Pina Colada Cake. It is made with a butter cream frosting with coconut flavor/flakes. The cake is also coconut flavor. It was one of the best cakes I have ever had. I also had some chocolate cake, which was a little dry. The whip cream served with both cakes was very good. We also had scones which are served warm with clotted cream, lemon curd, and strawberry jam. They are good scones, but do have fruit in them. The attention to detail on the décor is amazing. Each table is set with table cloths and linen napkins. The ice teas are also good. My favorite was the coconut/pineapple tea. Very light and not super sweet. The Raspberry tea was great, but sweet and contains sugar to make it taste so good. Overall, I was very pleased with the a/c improvement and would recommend this place to others. Service was great. The owners check on you throughout your dining experience.

I’ve loved high tea since I was 12 years old, when a bunch of friends got together for a post-6th grade graduation celebration. I’ve been hooked ever since. Nearly every birthday, I have high tea with my mom, and this year, she chose Serenity Garden Tea House. It was a lovely mid-week break and certainly didn’t disappoint. We were greeted at the door by Audrey, the sweet owner. She was quite friendly, and showed us to a cute little table. Our waitress quickly brought over some ice water and took our tea orders… I got the chai while my mom got the vanilla black tea. Both were delicious, but the chai was fantastic. The teapots came in adorable fabric cozies… in fact, this whole place was adorable. When it came to ordering the high tea, they were accommodating when we asked for specific tea sandwiches rather than the assortment that is standard. They served us tomato basil soup to start, which was delicious. My mom hasn’t stopped raving about it. They then brought out two lovely three-tiered trays for us, with our sandwiches, cranberry-orange scones with clotted cream, lemon curd and preserves, and an assortment of mini desserts. My sandwiches were the tuna salad, chicken salad and egg salad ones, and they were great! The scones were just okay… my mom and I both found them to be rather dry and a bit overcooked. So I ate half and then moved on to the desserts. There was a mini turtle cheesecake bite, red velvet cupcake, brownie and macaron(among others). All were good, but that macaron was amazing. I could’ve eaten 12 more. I will agree with the other review that it was a bit hot in there… but to be fair, I was sitting next to a window… in the middle of August. But my mom was sitting more toward the middle of the room and she was fine the whole time. Other than that, the only issue I had was with the check… and I didn’t realize it until we had left. The menu says the high tea is $ 19.95 per person, but we were charged $ 30 per person for it. The menu says it’s plus 6% tax and 20% gratuity, but that adds up to $ 25, not $ 30. I don’t know if it was due to our sandwich requests, since I didn’t get to look at the check(it was my birthday after all), and my mom doesn’t tend to look for that kind of thing. I always check, but since I couldn’t this time, I can’t make a judgement call on this. It won’t keep me from going back(I certainly will return), but I will just be more vigilant and double check the bill next time.

The tea house if very small and can be looked past if you don’t pay attention. I’ve been here twice already with family and friends and loved every bit of it both times. I loved how adorable the location is and everything inside that made me feel like I was in Alice in Wonderland’s world. The first time I was there, I had the Waldorf salad and it was TODIEFOR! The best Waldorf I’ve had! The second time, I had a selection of mini tea sandwiches. I think my favorite was the chicken, the cucumber and the one with tuna and apple slices. Now I’m craving the sandwiches as I’m thinking about them. Both times, I’ve tried different teas and they were great. I don’t remember which I’ve had because I mixed 2 sorts each time. The staff is friendly and will come by to see if you need anything. Usually, it’s honey that we ask more of! Make sure you dress for summer because the small building and plethora of nicknacks create a hot environment as though you were outside in the summer sun. If you wear shorts and a t-shirt, you’ll be fine! I’m hoping that I get to bring a significant other here with me one day because it’s a fabulous date idea.

What a cute little place to have a nice lunch with a friend. Staff very friendly, owner came 2 times on the table to see if everything was okey, food is great and nice portion size. Come with time to enjoy and see all the little things around the house. I had a great time :)
