They have a good selection on their menu. Granted, it’s most egg-centric, as the name would suggest. There’s also an alcohol selection and a bar, which is not something that’s found on the north side of campus. A small thing to keep in mind is that there isn’t a restroom inside the restaurant because it’s part of a multi-use building to include classrooms and labs. I believe the bathroom is located in the back hallway. I’m not sure because I didn’t go looking for it.

Another Broken Egg is way more delicious than a chain restaurant has any right to be. My mother and I had lunch here one day and were so delighted with the food that we came back the next day for breakfast. Everything I’ve had has been creative and delicious — Another Broken Egg has quickly become a regular dining destination!

Fantastic place. A great surprise after I went back to visit West Lafayette. It is a new place, wonderful, great healthy choices and the price was reasonable. Service is awesome. I plan to return when I get the chance to visit.

The food was delicious! They serve breakfast and dinner. The chicken wings are fantastic. Veggie omelette and potatoes were so god. The burgers are also great. The staff are friendly. Great place to eat breakfast or dinner.

Like Don Pablos, the menu fools the customer into thinking food might actually taste excellent here. However, after eating the breakfast here several times, I’ve concluded that the food is only so-so for my tastes. Potatoes are super salty and when I asked for them not to be salted, the wait staff who attended to our table seemed insisted that I should have them salted. Advice: maybe have your staff try the food so they actually know what they’re serving? I think this place could have so much potential. Please don’t make it just another mediocre breakfast establishment in this town. There’s far too many of those already and we don’t need any more.

— Food quality is higher than other local breakfast places, e.g., Christos, Route 66. — Restaurant is usually very crowded but they allow you to use the«No Wait» app to wait without wasting your time. — Only negative I’ve experienced is incorrect takeout orders. On multiple occasions items have been missing from my takeout bag. Staff has always been accommodating and«made it right» but it still shouldn’t happen. Luckily I think they have taken notice of this and are improving their management and carryout process.

I came in for breakfast and had trouble Choosing what to eat because there were so many great options. The Lucy omelet was a generous portion and had a nice kick. The biscuit beneigts were delicious although might have had a touch too much powdered sugar. Staff was polite and attentive, short wait for my food. I’d come again.

The service at Another Broken Egg was awesome on top of the delicious food! I went in there asking for a patio seat but they could not find the keys. However they were swift with resolving the issue and the manager made me feel really special by providing my friend and I a complimentary beignet.(Btw they were really delicious!) also the server was super helpful and she brought tons of humor on the side. It was just an overall really good brunch!

«It was just okay» seemed to be the phrase of the day. I visited ABE for brunch with a friend on a Sunday. Firstly, they close at 2pm on Sundays so if you’re doing a late brunch, keep the time in mind. After arriving we had a 20 minute wait which wasn’t too bad although the place didn’t look that crowded. We arrived a bit before closing so while we were there the restaurant was starting to clear out. Even then, the service was quite slow. I ordered the huevos rancheros and my friend got the cinnamon roll French toast. Both meals were just okay. They also must have been sitting out prior to being served because they were almost room temperature. Huevos rancheros: extremely oily! The copious amount of melted cheese on top had started to congeal by the time we got our food(yuck!). It also completely covered the rest so I could barely see what I was eating. It includes a fried tortilla which was unnecessary and also added to the oil. The only vegetables were beans onions and peppers which is pretty underwhelming for huevos rancheros. The salsa was watery and tasteless and most definitely from a can. The seasoned potatoes were okay but dry. I got a biscuit on the side and it was decent. Cinnamon roll French toast: essentially a cinnamon roll sliced and dipped in egg. Not terrible but not great. This was VERY sweet and came covered in syrup which was a bit too much. Both of us left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and just a little bit queasy from all the sugar and oil. Overall, it was just okay but I will not be returning.

Me and my boyfriend’s Friday morning always starts from a delicious meal from broken egg. I have to say that the lobster and brie omelet is a must try here. You will definitely love it and come here again and again for that. However, there is always a long wait here and waiters are busy taking care of other costumes. So PATIENT is not you thing(like me) just ask your friends to get a take out for ya. Besides lobster omelet, my next best choice is American traditional breakfast. Easy, fast and it taste fine.

I got a BLAST sandwich that had bacon, lettuce, avocado, Swiss cheese, and tomato(I chose fried green tomato). It came with a pickle and country fries. Well… Let me tell you the whole meal was cold. The only thing that was barely warm was the fried tomatoes. Fries were soggy and cold and rubbery. Bread was soggy on one side and greasy on the other(how is that even possible?). Bacon was wayyyy over cooked(I think it was sharp enough to scratch the roof of my mouth like 50 times)… Service was great though, hence the 2 stars instead of 1. Will not return.

My friends already mentioned this place to me & told me it’s a MUST try so we did! Advice for those who are not familiar with this area, they have a parking space in the back the staff are friendly & the place is clean. I enjoyed our refillable coffee it’s actually decent, it also has free wifi, not bad at all … It was a bit of a wait before our food arrived but it’s not bad since they have flat screen tvs inside by the«bar» where u can wAtch the game … You can also do a little people watching while waiting since it has big glass windows facing the street

If you sign up for their club online, they’ll email you a coupon for a free order of the biscuit beignets with $ 10 purchase. The beignets are excellent and earn them another half star.(Even without the coupon they’re a reasonably priced $ 5 for about 20 small beignets). My husband’s huevos rancheros were also really good. Their basic American eggs and potatoes dishes are lackluster but it seems like many of the more interesting items(southern items, especially) are very good. We used their app for the first time yesterday — we thought it had worked great because we got in line from home and our table was ready when we got there, but it turns out they had an inside table for us, even though I had put«outside» on the requests section, and we had our dog with us so we had to wait for an outside table, which ended up taking about 30 minutes. The staff was super apologetic and it was a really nice day so we didn’t mind waiting, but if I were going again with the dog I would definitely call them to confirm we need an outside table.

This place is a good addition to the west side. The place itself is not very big so when we got there about 10am on a Sunday, the wait for just two of us was about 45min. One thing they do well is that they use an app called NoWait that shows your place in line and they will text you when your table is ready. One thing we did not know until after sitting down is that the bar is first come, first serve. So if you want to keep one eye open on the bar for a seat you might get in faster. The food was very good. I got the cinnamon roll french toast and a half order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits & gravy were the best I’ve had out because they actually had real flavor. My wife got a chocolate milk that came in a malt glass with whip cream on top. It looked more like a shake but she said it was really good.

Really surprised by their tasty Mediterranean potatoes(rosemary, feta) offered as an option with breakfast egg orders. Nice to find such an attractive restaurant that gives its customers good value and is so well-maintained. They do a good job with breakfast sausage and serve crispy bacon, but for unknown reasons serve their muffins barely toasted. Service is friendly, but when the restaurant is full you may have to wait longer than expected for your order. Booth seating makes it convenient for famiies who bring little ones along. Waffles and pancakes here are delicious(request their real Indiana Maple Syrup), the eggs benedict are done perfectly and the coffee here is really good. One thing I’d recommend is that they get more generous with the fresh fruit toppings, and I hope they add rye bread as a menu option. Note: The cheeseburger – way too salty(over-seasoned?) for me.

As fresh alumni, 3 of us came here on a Sunday during brunch after visiting for a home football game. As expected, the wait was quite long(ended up being ~40 mins). However, the lobby waiting area is spacious and had(clutch) coffee. They also put you on a text message list so we took advantage of the location and walked around campus. After being seated, we were warmly welcomed by our server(she was seriously awesome, if you’re reading this«you’re a 10»). Received our food surprisingly fast after putting in orders. It hit the spot on so many levels. Tasty, large portions, and fairly priced. Great addition to Purdue. We look forward to coming back, especially once they have their liquor license. Bonus points to whoever threw the egg at their sidewalk sign. Clever.

As of September 2015, this place is packed with people. It takes a while to get seated depending on the time of the day. And after that, it’s going to be another while before you see a drink or menu. The place is understaffed and overly crowded. It would have be worth it if the food was great, but it wasn’t. I had the supreme omelette and steal cut oats. I hate the fact that I was handed a bottle of honey and a bottle of cinnamon with the oatmeal. The worst part is that it is undercooked. The omelette was underwhelming also. I expected the portion to be more substantial since they are charging $ 10 for it. But no, it was pretty small and had too much oil. The omelette came with tater tots on the side. I wish they would at least have a heather option such as mesh potatoes, or baked potatoes. All an all, I do not recommend this place for a healthy brunch. This is the sort of place, where you would get poorly cooked dinner food with a big splash of melted cheese on top. It’s not the upscale brunch place that it was branded to be. BTW, parking is going to be a problem if you don’t have Purdue parking pass and you are there on a weekday morning.

Finally, a real place to eat in Lafayette. Unhealthy without being deep fried or smothered in gravy is a rare find in this town. This place delivers. Monster cinnamon roll was delicious. The black bean eggs benadict were great. The chipolte hollandaise was full of chipolte flavor. My only complaint about it would be the eggs were slightly over poached, but that didn’t ruin it for me. The coffee was also hot, fresh and delicious. We sat at the bar because there was no wait, the bartender was friendly, attentive, and funny. Overall, good atmosphere. Wish there were more than like 4 outside tables though.

This restaurant has just opened, but even so it was a great experience. The waitress was knowledgeable about all of the dishes, and gave good information about everything. I ordered a sweet potato pancake, eggs and bacon. The eggs were very good. The pancake was huge, and delicious although not exactly my cup of tea. I would not get it again, but it’s not any fault of the cooks or anything. Again, the staff had great training, the food was prompt and delicious. Unfortunately very few drink options, it would be nice to have a more extensive coffee menu.

When I heard this place was opening on campus, I was excited — even more so when I looked at the menu and saw eggs benedict. I’m sad to say that overall, it was just okay. I got the Eggs Benedict(subbed the ham for sausage, which for some reason was innovative to them). The hollandaise was heavy with the consistency of mayonnaise. The sausage patty seemed to be homemade with specks of green herbs inside but it was such a chunky piece of meat that it only added to the heaviness of the dish. On a bright note, the egg was poached perfectly. It could’ve been a bigger egg to even out the proportions of the dish, though. There was a side of potatoes that came with the dish; those were pretty standard. The service is good(though the hostess kept advertising the Bloody Marys) and the staff was friendly. They are understaffed, so we ended up trying to pay up front only to wait a few minutes longer for our waitress to bring the bill to the front.
