They advertise delivery, I called to make a rather substantial order. When they asked for my address(I’m less than two miles from them) the man said«so sorry» and hung up.

I got the orange chicken, and the cream cheese wontons. Its very difficult to screw up cream cream cheese wontons, and potentially the only reason I gave them a single star was because the wontons where indeed standard for a Chinese resturant. Concerning the orange chicken, in my opinion one of the most fundamental and reliable choices on any Chinese menu, was terable. Firstly the tempura batter on the chicken was literally falling off the chicken chunks and gave a disatifying look to the overall dish. The chicken was dry, bone dry, I actually choked on the first piece as it felt like I was swallowing a ball of yarn. I have a feeling that the chicken is prepared ahead of time cooked and then frozen and then refried upon request. The orange sauce for the chicken tasted almost like an orange marmalade syrup it had no distinct color and was thin, and tasted like it was factory made. Quite disappointing overall provided the shining reviews from my coworkers.

Amazing mom and pop little take-out restaurant. Owners are a friendly Chinese couple that are there 6 days a week. My family has been coming here for a couple years now and tried about everything. My current favorite is the pan-fried crispy noodles with chicken and a side of spicy chili sauce, never have seen anything like it in any Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. Other recommendations are: pork flat noodle, tiny spicy chicken, general taos chicken, spring rolls, and pineapple fried rice. Just to name a few.

Friendly service. Some of the food is just okay, some of it is awesome! I highly recommend the Curry Chicken Fried Rice! I just sort of kept eating it and didn’t notice I chowed down the whole thing myself.

I was very impressed. Usually with these little Chinese restaurants they are not good at all. I for some reason decided to give them a try anyway and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and the portion size was more then enough for my money. The person who gave them a 1 star rating must have some off taste buds because the food was very good. They most definitely deserve at least a 4 star rating. And as for waiting longer than average, maybe it is because they cook a portion of it if not most of it when it is ordered. My food was steaming hot and fresh. If I am in the area and in the mood for Chinese they will most definitely by on the consideration list.

My favorite little Chinese takeout! Try the curry fried rice! Also so much food for a very good price and very great service. So glad I found this little gem! Yum!

Extremely nice and helpful owner, I really enjoyed the ham friend rice, and the spicy pork dinner plate I got. I also tried the general tso chicken which was okay. Overall its a nice spot for some Chinese take out. The restaurant itself only has two tables in it for a maximum of 4 people so just plan on picking it up or having it delivered.

My one star reasoning is two fold. One: the food… It wasn’t good. I mean, the sauces had a hint of windex in them and the chicken wasn’t fresh at all. You could TASTE the freezer burn. Two: when I called to complain about this(it was delivery) I was simply just asking if they could make it fresh and send it out again, if not, I asked that they refund my purchase. She refused, telling me, «that’s impossible that your food doesn’t taste good!»… Really? It was really expensive — I waited longer than your average delivery time and I live DIRECTLY across the street. I still even tipped good. Just save yourself the trouble and go to Golden Seas! It was so much better there!!!

I thought the food was okay, the orange chicken texture was funny, not sure if it was chicken or some x meat. This is a take out place, only one small table by the door.

The name is now Yan Express. I love their mapo tofu and other tofu dishes, but a lot of the rest of their dishes taste only passable. Portions are very generous though! The cream cheese wontons are tasty as well. Run by a kind old couple.

Great local Chinese spot in West Jordan. Good quality and great prices. Always love to support a «mom and pop» spot like this!

This is my go to place for convenient Chinese food. The food is consistently above average. Try the Tiny spicy chicken.

I should mention that they changed the name to Yan Express, still the same owners and same great food. We have been coming here for years and I have yet to find a reason to stop coming. Their food is take out only, which isn’t a problem for me. This place is a run by a husband and wife and they are always the only ones in there, the husband cooks all of the food and wow it is so good! We arent super daring to try new things so we kinda stick to the basic sweet and sour chicken, Ham fried rice(which are the best that I’ve tried anywhere) then we tried their general tso chicken and it is so good, not super hot(but that’s the way I like it!) I highly recommend this place, the food is great and I really like to support local independent business owners.

Like others have said, we have been looking for a good Chinese place that delivers. Finally we found it. They were quick, cheap and the food was great! Definitely recommend!

The food here is ok. I had the sesame chicken, fried rice, and Szechuan pork. It was all good but not great. The sesame chicken had a burnt flavor(probably from a dirty wok) but was edible. They were out hot mustard which was disappointing. The staff was very friendly.

A couple things that aren’t clear from looking at this Unilocal page. This is a take-out restaurant almost exclusively. They have a tiny table, but it is small and there is only one. Despite being a take-out restaurant, their menu is not online. So I scanned it and will upload to Unilocal.Lastly, the owners changed the name of this restaurant and it is now called Yan Express. This is above average Chinese food compared to the rest of West Jordan. The tangerine chicken particularly was delicious. The fried rice was not my favorite, but I very frequently disagree with the choice of Chinese restaurants and what they do and don’t include in their fried rice(i.e. peas)

It’s now called Yan Express. Still same owners and same food. Great value and great food. Fried rice, Mongolian beef and sesame chicken are very good!

Finding good chinese food in West Jordan is a difficult task — at least it was until I found Wild Ginger. Portions are big, prices are small — food is good. What more could you ask for? They do deliver, you only have to have a $ 15 min. order. I have tried quite a few dishes so far and everything has been pretty good! Give em a try!

Best Singapore noodles and Mongolian beef in town! We also had the ham fried rice and cream cheese wontons which were all very delicious and freshly made.

What does four stars mean? For this type of food to me it means that is it very good, above average. Based on Chinese/Vietnamese food I have had on the east coast vs Utah, I have to say that on the Utah scale it gets a four and on the east coast scale it gets a three! We lived near here for a time so tried it out. It’s actually quite good Chinese/Vietnamese food. All the food here is fresh and cooked to order and take out only. I am guessing that small place is run by a husband/wife team, she takes the orders and he cooks. My favorite items are the egg rolls which are fresh, crispy, and quite tasty, the spring rolls, and a dish called Shrimp Ball and Tofu with vegetables. Like most Chinese places in Utah, you have to try different items to see what they are better at making than other things. It can be hit or miss, some are better than others. Once you find what you like then you’re set! Closed Sundays.
