King Buffet

My boyfriend and I were looking for an oriental lunch and boy did we hit the jackpot!!! This place has super delicious food. Very fresh and affordable! Definitely going to come back!

If I could give this place a no stars I would! Worse service ever!!! They have a sign stating 10% gratuity added to your bill per group of ten. Took my whole family and in the end we decided to split bills and we were all charged gratuity PER BILL!!! We picked up our own plates and all they did was bring us our drinks which we could get ourselves if it wasn’t for them having the drinks inside! We payed about $ 300 and were very unhappy the manager was rude and walked away from me mid sentence. Will not be coming here again! the cashiers were rude and the hostess Latina girl was unprofessional and not dressed accordingly to a FAMILY RESTAURANT! HIGHLY UNSATISFIED

I didn’t know you didn’t have an option whether or not to leave a tip or not.

They have a bunch variety. Salad was weak but that’s every Asian buffet ever. Pretty sure. Their food is refilled often enough that it hasn’t been a problem getting what you want. The staff is on top of their drink refilling and taking plates. As they should be, it’s their only job. Gotta love buffets for that reason. Try their seaweed salad it’s good. Salt and pepper shrink also very tasty.

Honestly, if you’re expecting anything above buffet quality than you are out of your mind. However, there is a pretty good selection with lots of options to choose from for a fairly decent price. There are a lot of seafood options (which is why my dad loves this place), a sushi bar, and a Mongolian grill. The only thing is I wouldn’t recommend ordering a drink other than water, they cost about $ 3 with no refills and they ask you what you want to drink as if it were part of the meal. Enjoy!

Omgoodness the worst food ever! The Sushi was warm, wondered if it was sitting since the lunch service. Dessert options horrible. Whole place stunk. Waiters were good, but way to pricey for very mediocre food:(

3.5 Stars. Food is still pretty good, and the sushi options are nice. The former smooth and delicious soft serve ice cream has been replaced however. Now they’ve got that cheap, off-​color, fake tasting ice-​milk crap full of ice crystals. Hope they go back to the better soft serve.

I wish I could give this — 5 stars. This is the worst buffet I’ve ever had. Had a gift card from someone. I should have re-​gifted it or thrown it away.

Besides that, this buffet is probably the best buffet in town! Always tastes fresh! The dessert here is pretty good too. The only downfall is the drinks, they dont tell you that they charge per refill :/​

So a few of my friends and I (wolfpack of 6) decided to get together after not seeing each other for a while, after much debate we decided to cat up at a local all-​you-​can-​eat buffet, but oh, boy little did we know we were there for the experience of a life time, what a time to be alive.
The food was what you could expect for a $ 10 dollar buffet, plain garbage but manageable to the paladar, enough to keep the masses coming and eating until you want to pass out or vomit, its clear in my head now why the old Romans took time to build «vomitoria» facilities near they eating places, I too wanted to purge myself after this meal.
Anyways, back to the cloning factory… and no I am not talking about Dolly the first mammal ever to be cloned (that we know of) I am talking about getting all of our 6 credit cards being cloned.
Once our meeting came to an end we said our respective goodbyes and parted ways, no long after we started realizing we were being hit with $ 5,000.00 charges in our cards, anywhere from Rolex to True Religion to Luxottica purchases exceeding $ 800.00, and some jewelry and Sears and Dillard’s as well. It didn’t take long before we all realized we were being charge similar stuff and it was very easy to connect the dots and realize that the only place where we all have been together was this restaurant.
Like most people would as soon as we realized something like this had happened we called the credit card companies and disputed the charges, and they have started an investigation. We then proceeded to inform the restaurant owner about the dangers of employing a thief and of the possible negative outcomes it can bring to his business. To my surprise the owner was extremely rude and didn’t even offer an apology, but rather told me I had no way to prove it, as if he didn’t care that one of his employees was committing credit card fraud.
So in short, if you want your card to be cloned, come here, if you want bad food and service also come here, for everything else there is MasterCard except it might be cloned.

Besides some of the waitresses being rude and the food being disgusting and greasy. Our cards information was stolen.
My friends and I (6 of us) visited this place last month and we all payed separately with different credit cards. Today we all found out the cards used that day had been used to purchase random things, such as rolex and other expensive products.
I called the owner and he said to call the police.
Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
If after reading this review you still decide to go and eat yourself to death with nasty food, pay with cash.

We all got random charges in out credit cards 5K rolex and other stores.
It is hard for a owner not to know what happens in a restaurant. Lets avoid this place at all costs unless you want very rude people stealing your credit card information!
Owner didn’t take responsibility of what is happening here. This is criminal!

The food is mediocre at its best. If you want to eat yourself to death, then you found the place. Service is a typical asian restaurant. Would I come back, probably not.

Was thinking about 3 stars, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt since it was a Easter Sunday, really busy and right at noon time.
Got there and at least 10 parties ahead of us. Didn’t wait long, maybe 15 minutes. This place is set up to move allot of people. Pretty much a zoo, lots and lots of people, almost need a stop light at some of the intersections when getting your food. So it’s not a quiet place to eat.
Onto to the food, that’s what we came here for, great selection, as far as buffets go one of the better ones. Price resonable. Had 4 in are party and most everything tasted pretty good, though the cheese sticks and onion rings were pretty dried out.
What knocked the rating down for all of us was the sloppiness of the dinning room. I know they were really busy but take some time out and pick up, all the food, napkins, silverware that was on the floor. Not being picky but could’ve take two steps without stepping on something

Nasty! In fact one of the worst buffet experiences ever! Horrible tasteless crap. Don’t waste your time!
I’ve come to find that buffets make the cheapest food and charge good food prices. Not worth it.

I was really in a starvation mode. I was super hungry and wanted a variety of food in front of me lol. So I thought, a buffet sounds good. Even though I am not a big fan of buffets at all. But I thought I try King’s Buffet. I found it to be pretty decent. Maybe on the better side of Chinese buffets in town. Much much better than Chinese Gourmet. They had a good selection. A full salad bar. The entries were always filled up and had a great variety. The quality of the food was also pretty good. I was also impressed that they had a sushi section. By no means it’s not too quality sushi but it’s still there. Also they got a great Mongolian section. They prepare your food right when you order it. So for a buffet it’s a pretty decent place.

Since this place was closed down for health code violations it appears they have came back full force.
We made reservations for our large party of 10 the night before and were promptly seated upon entering. We saw the whole waiting area completely full and a line out the door on both sides.
Typical Chinese buffet except many items that are all fresh and flying out as fast as they empty them. They have a small Japanese station and a Mongolian station.
Will for sure go back but only if we have a reservation.

I went to this place last night and let me tell you that if you are planning ahead of time to come to this place have someone come earlier to take a number/​get seats or try calling ahead. The wait to go in was like around 30 – 40 mins for us.
A couple of things to note about this place is that parking is plentiful. If you have to wait a long time for your seating there are some stores for you to walk around (while someone is waiting for your number to be called of course) like ROSS and those stores. There is plenty of different variety of food for you to chose from.
Now here is the note worthy food I would recommend that I tried. I love their wings it has enough flavoring to it. Their jalapeño squid is delicious. Next I would recommend their fried fish, but do be careful it does have bones in it and you might want se kind of dipping sauce. The meat is kind of bland. I used the sweet and sour sauce they had. Their sushi there was surprisingly good for a buffet and I love how they have a giant chocolate fountains. Now do remember this is a buffet so there will be plenty of messy people around. The chocolate fountain area is a place that is super messy. There are chocolate dipping all over the place. So if you are wearing white and a bunch of kids is there dipping be careful.
All in all this place is a really good buffet place and I would definitely come back here again.

This place could potential be driving force for the Utah Chinese buffets in terms of competitions. Or it could end up assimilating like the others in the long run. The décor was beautiful compared to the existing ones, and the best area to set them apart was their restrooms. The place was very packed being new and located in the buffet craze part of town.
In term of varieties, they have more than all the other buffets in town from regular items to desserts. The Mongolian grill was a hot enough grill that completely cooked the food, and shrimp was one of the options, but the griller was nowhere close being proficient though. Sushi selections were plenty, and quality was just the same old buffet ones though. The regular entrée dishes were superb in selections, but they were just a bit off in seasoning their food, which might be contributed by the opening rush?
They have a chocolate fondue at the dessert area, which is something new for Chinese buffets. They have an ice cream machine as well as the cup ones from freezer. There was a selection of fruits and pastries, and nothing really caught my eyes there. Sad part of their drink was they serve Pepsi.
King Buffet has the potential of being the one of the best Chinese buffet in Utah, if they are able to fix some of their seasoning problems. Service was a bit lacking, maybe it was because they were all Asians? None of them seems to care much and they all put up that «leave me alone» or «what do you want» face.
