So, so Starbucks location. At least the drinks and service is always good, with only one problem… They don’t accept posters for non-profit theaters.

This is the location right next to my job that I go to at least 3 times a week. Minimum. There is this one employee who unfortunately is always the one that takes my order. She is African American and on the very heavy side. This woman is the same exact way to each and every customer: RUDE, COLD and MEAN! She is just NOT the person you want greeting customers. Her demeanor is horrible and I would HATE to have an employee who gave off such energy to work for me. Come on this team can do better.

I came here after having lunch at a local sushi spot. I was very thirsty, as my lunch was super spicy. So I ordered an iced green tea. The drink came out just fine, it was the customer service that was lacking a bit. The employees here were a bit cold, and I could tell the barista was not having a good day. I’m not a big fan of the crowd here either. There are some seedy characters that hang out at the La Brea/SM Blvd intersection. It’s actually pretty bad at night time. They provided me with what I ordered, and it was adequately made. So no issue there. But as far as coffee shops, I’d go elsewhere.

The drink was fine but one of the workers laura kept rolling her eyes at me what a rude lady. And she was training a newbie i dont think she should be training at all or by that matter working in a job that is requires to provide customer satisfaction. RUDE!

To the employee who thought it would be funny to write this on my cup: ASSANAL Clearly you don’t enjoy your job enough to be able to treat your customers with respect. The audacity you had to write this when I told you clearly my name is Aleisha is beyond my comprehension. Literally, my mind can’t wrap around such a thing. I know that you have made my drinks prior a handful of times and yes, I’ve asked for them to be redone because what I asked for was not executed. Of which, clearly your company and you can deliver because my order is taken time and time again with no questions. I have always been respectful and nice saying that I asked for light caramel. Maybe you like not being able to read clear directions or you take pleasure in creating disappointing customer experiences. Did you think I wouldn’t pay attention? I didn’t at first. Not until half way through with my drink and back at work. But it’s ok, I’m told I’ll be expecting a phone call from your district manager. No threat, but verbatim of what was told to me after being apologized to by someone who shouldn’t have to on behalf of your poor judgement and attitude. I hope that one day you find a job where you’re happy and it translates to delivering exceptional service to customers with integrity and respect. Or maybe a job not having to serve customer because maybe you hate it. To the company that hired this employee: As a customer, I purchase coffee and food items regularly week after week with the West Hollywood Gateway location. It’s my neighborhood Starbucks because I work 3 minutes away. Starbucks in my mind and based on my experiences is a place I’m able to order my favorite drink with a few tweaks, because it’s how I like it. You even express clearly that if a customer’s drink is not right, let you know and you’d be glad to fix it. As a manager of customer service, it would be without question that this employee would no longer work for me. His representation of your brand as a company and particular location is disrespectful with this behavior. I’m not upset that my drink was wrong. I actually left, taking it as is despite what I asked for. Was I disappointed? Yes. Did I have time for a redo? No. Could I live? Yes. Under no circumstances should this be allowed to be tolerated. I have never been disrespected like this with any company I’ve shopped at. Ever. So much that I spent my time after calling your corporate office to express my disgust. And on another note, I had my co-workers read this and to tell me what they saw. It’s not surprising that most looked and me with a puzzled or shocked face and asked if this really happened. Yes, it did. Posted picture of my cup in photos.

Well, I don’t know what’s up w my girlfriend, Sarah. She’s still isn’t answering her phone. She may have had a little too much wine @ Formosa Café last night(plz see review). I went ahead and called off from work on account of no keys & no work uniform(locked in her place when I went to 7 – 11 {plz see review}) And now I’m here @ Starbucks! The barista, Sandy, was super friendly and pointed out my Cubs hat. She said she had some friends from Chicago! I do, too! Man I miss them, but I don’t miss the weather, that’s for sure. I really wanted to talk to Sandy a bit more. She looked quirky, like she could be a writer or something. But, there was a huge line & I didn’t want to hold it up. I guess everyone needs their«creation juice» out here in Tinseltown. It can get pretty lonely out here sometimes, especially while trying to keep up w Sarah! She doesn’t really leave a lot of time for meeting other people. So far as Starbucks go, this one is pretty cool! They have an awesome outdoor seating area(so LA) & I’m knocking back a delicious Iced Mocha w Coconut Milk(something I certainly wouldn’t be drinking right now if I was still in Chicago, brrrrr) while people watching. I wonder if everyone here is an actor or writer?! I may be looking at a star in the making! I imagine it’s gotta be tough to make it in «the biz» but if it’s any consultation, I believe in you! Friendly service. Delicious drink. No bathroom :( Starbucks gets FOUR stars.

Great staff!!! I have been coming here for years and the morning staff is the best, they do keep me awake on my way to work. And if you consider all the riff raff they have to deal with on a daily basis, I’d give all scheduled guys and gals at this particular Starbucks 20 out of 20 for excellent customer service AAAAA+++++

I love the new dot collection! The store doesn’t have a restroom, but it’s really close to best buy and target. The staff is really friendly and approachable.

Way too loud, I had to scream across the music just so my friend could hear me, and one of the staff was really rude. She messed up my coffee, and didn’t make what I ordered. Won’t go back.

This is a nice location. There is garage parking for up to an hour. The staff are cheerful and courteous. Its not a huge location, but there is some indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating. The outdoors area is a nice place to people watch.

Convenient location. Stop in after getting some groceries at Target. Line isn’t too bad on the weekends. It moves pretty fast. They have lots of seating outside in the courtyard and a few inside. A nice environment to chill and enjoy your day. It’s located in a large shopping plaza so there is parking underground. One hour free.

I just felt very disrespected by the cashier guy. After ordering my grande Café Latte i payed my total amount of $ 3.75, when he gave me the change he left me with my hand hanging and put my change on the top register as well as when he gave me my receipt he left it on top of the register for me to get and left me with my hand hanging once again. Before he did that he turned to his co-worker to see if he was watching him. Also while waiting for my drink i observed him to see if he did the same to others. Well not at all! This makes me feel like is some sort of racist issue to a hispanic girl of only 26 years old. All i wanted was my drink not feel humiliated smh! People like this shouldn’t be in customer service!

I USED to have a pleasant service until barista Chanel worked that morning. It was the slowest service I had experience at a Starbucks to think there weren’t too much customers. It’s like watching a snail compete in a race. And she’s not new for sure because she knows what she’s doing. She just does everything slowlyyyyyyy. I think she needs coffee more than I do(with extra shots).

I like this particular location because of all the seating that’s available outside. It’s in a very busy location and you’ll notice all the strange characters in the area. It’s convenient because of all the food options around. If you need to stay the entire day to study then you won’t be stuck eating the food served inside the Starbucks. The service was okay. I just noticed that there was a Brazilian girl inside asking the staff to check to see if she had left her credit cards behind. The cashier was helpful and asked the female manager/supervisor im guessing. It seemed like too much trouble for the manager/supervisor/staff member to just go check real quick. I mean damn, the girl is from Brazil! She needs her cards to get home! Because this location is located in west hollywood, they won’t use the same plastic cup for refills or even if you just want some more ice. They’ll literally waste another clean cup to give you a few ice cubes. I’m guessing they can’t take possession of used cup at all, even if the customer is still holding it. That is all…

I come to this Starbucks frequently because of the location. It’s situated in a pretty outdoor mall that includes a great boutique Target store and my favorite beauty supply, ULTA, so I often stop by pre-shopping trip for my morning non-fat latte. Sitting in a sunny spot by the window overlooking the traffic rolling by on La Brea I couldn’t be happier. The biggest problem with this Starbucks is that there are a lot of homeless people in the area. There are soup kitchens nearby and West Hollywood is a safe neighborhood, even for these poor people. This Starbucks is kind of a homeless magnet. They sit in the store and outside sipping their cup of joe. I’ve been hit up for money more than once here while I sat by the sunny window enjoying my coffee and view. I’m sure the rather large homeless population is difficult for the staff, as they have to tactfully deal with potentially crazy people(many people living on the streets of LA suffer from mental illness.) and panhandlers while simultaneously keep paying customers happy. Personally I’ve never had a problem with anyone working here. There’s a massive underground parking lot and street parking on La Brea.

After doing my early Saturday morning holiday shopping, I needed a caffeine boost. I chose Starbucks since I had a gift card. Although it was busy at 9:30 am, the staff was still smiling and very friendly. I ordered a iced venti Caramel Macchiato. Although I requested non fat milk to make me feel less guilty, it’s a calorie splurge to celebrate the holiday weekend. I also love seeing the festive red cups to get me in the holiday spirit.

To the managing entity: If the employees of your business/franchise represent your interests and reflect your ideology, then you need to strongly consider replacing your current staff, and as quickly as possible. I was unfortunate enough to bear witness to the blatant denial of human kinds most primitive necessity to one of your female customers, by one of your inept male employees. This polite young lady asked if she could please have a cup of water, she was visibly not feeling too well, and was told by this arrogant and insensitive degenerate that they don’t give out free water. The yound lady showed him her phone with the starbucks app and tried explaining that she is a daily customer and just wanted a small cup of tap water. This evidently poorly raised excuse for a man, instead of changing his stance on the matter, simply said«sorry». The disgusting thing about this was, it was a cup of water! Not everything in life has to be charged for, it’s WATER and it’s not bottled, it comes from the tap and its there whether you pour it or not. As I could easily place myself in her shoes(not literally), I would likely have experienced a more adverse reaction if this barista had so arrogantly refused me a water after all the money I’ve spent at Starbucks throughout the year(s). I offered to buy her a drink and while she politely declined, she also explained that it wasn’t about getting a freebie or that she couldn’t afford to buy something, it was because she didn’t need anything else, it was because of the employees tone, his demeanor, and the fact that after all these years as a loyal paying customer, she in an instance experienced degradation akin to what the inhabitants of third world countries without running water go through on a daily basis. She was right. How sad it is indeed to see this happen in the USA, in this day and age, and in Los Angeles out of all places. To deny someone water, for any reason, is despicable in the least. After composing this review and thinking about what I witnessed at this location yesterday, I have come to the conclusion that I will not continue to give my business to this particular Starbucks. After all, there are plenty of locations around that employ people who treat their customers in a humane way. In order to inspire change, we must clearly support what’s right and take a strong stance against what’s wrong.

More like service with a scowl. Perhaps it was just the location and the weirdos they have to deal with all day but the staff here looked like they were ready to spit in your coffee as you watched. No one was at all attempting to be helpful, cheery etc…, it is one of the worst Starbucks experiences that I have ever had. I can usually rely on Starbucks as a place to get some work done. But this one had no where to plug in. While I did get done what I needed to get done I felt incredibly unwelcome and rushed the entire time. There were no outlets anywhere, actually I think there were 2 but they were not at all visible. Like they were trying to keep them hidden and keep people out. Which again could just e because of all the weirdos in Hollywood they are trying to keep out. What a trip, won’t be back unless I’m stuck in that area again.
