Good food & broad menu, with good prices. Very good & pleasant service. Parking in the area is difficult, but well worth the effort if you are in the area. Hope to eat there again soon.

This was my favorite Thai restaurant. I would come here frequently with friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and always in great spirits. They knew my name and the names of my friends. I really got the sense that they really loved their business. The food was always amazing, delicious and CONSISTENT. My favorite dish was the Tom Yum soup. I would always start off with that soup. I went there recently to have lunch and was devastated when I discovered that they are now closed.

They’ll be reopening soon as OTUS — breakfast, lunch, Thai coffee, beer, and wine. It looks like they’ll be open from 8 am — 4 pm.

I love this place. Been coming here for years! The owners and the people who work there are amazing, and always make us feel so welcomed. I was very sad when they had to close for the repairs. I hope they are able to reopen again soon!

I love this place! Kineree is one of my favorite places to go for thai food aside from Toi Thai. The Yom Kha Soup is absolutly delicious, my mouth is watering right now just from writing this review! And the yellow curry(with chicken) is amaze, it not to spicy and I love the big chunks of chicken and potatos. Top it off with some brown rice and you can thank me later. Ive never ordered anything here that I wasnt satisfied with. Everything is good The service is good the waitress is very attentive

Good food and nice staff. A little boring environment but overall it’s a good place to eat lunch, I’ve never been there for dinner or anything but the lunch and happy hour prices are great! Will definitely come back!

I saw this little gem as I moved in nearby. Small and cozy, which is what I love restaurants to be. I sat at the bar and was welcomed by the friendly staff. I had the shrimp pad Thai and fell in love with it. Later had the mango dessert. Too bad is closed on Sunday and Monday :/ I am coming back very soon for more.

I’ve never seen a restaurant crash and burn as hard as this place in the last few weeks. As Superxcm C said they got rid of the lunch special and now you get half the portions for double the price, even on items that never had a lunch special option. The quality and taste of the food is worse than before as well. I’m guessing it’s new ownership because all the employees are different. I hate to have to do this because I used to love this place as it’s the only Thai within walking distance of my work, but I can’t go back there anymore since it’s a total ripoff now. And by the looks of it the last time I was in there, I’m not the only one who feels this way. Also, if you do decide to go there, don’t trust the online menu. They haven’t updated it since the change and you can expect to pay double what’s listed.

I love there happy hour from 5 – 7 with $ 2 Asian beers! You really can’t beat that! I get the salad with peanut dressing and the spicy vegetable soup and I am stuffed! The staff are so nice and attentive! Such a gem of a spot amongst the craziness of Hollywood! I will keep coming back to Kinaree!

This place was great, until about 2 – 3 weeks ago when they removed the lunch special. Dishes now are smaller for a higher price. They don’t do separate bills anymore as well(which they use to do and was convenient as we usually go there as a group with co-workers). Food is good, but not great. Especially for the price.

This little Thai restaurant by far has the best yellow curry within Los Angeles county. I understand this is a very bold statement, however I have many years of experience eating in many many Thai establishments and have never walked out the door in awwww. Great job! You have a new regular! Great price Great food Perfect portions besides the small rice but it’s okay I don’t need the carbs hahaha

Kinaree has great food. It is nice to have such a great Thai place in Hollywood. Of course Thai town is just around the corner but for me(I live in the area) it is really nice to have a place to walk to). My favorite is the spicy eggplant with basil. The sauce is delicious and the eggplant is perfectly cooked. I usually add chicken but am also a fan of tofu in the dish. I also usually add a small side of rice, it is good with both the white and brown. It is also a huge meal, I am always stuffed. Another favorite is the yellow curry. Again it is great with chicken or tofu. The staff is always very friendly and nice. The food is consistently great. Orders are ready quickly and it is always a great experience. I am a loyal fan!

The Basil Chili dish is my favorite– I order it as a base test whenever I try a new Thai restaurant. I switched it up to beef this time, as I’m trying to up my protein intake. The meat was great quality. Not a single weird, nasty, chewy bit moment. And plenty of it! The protein was the main component of the dish rather than an over abundance of peppers. The sauce again, wasn’t watery as can often be seen with Thai food. It also had great heat, without losing flavor. The Yellow Curry was a thick, but soupy texture. Perfect. An extra drizzle of spice right in the middle made my mouth water. I ordered chicken and it was still moist(and I had it delivered)! The potatoes were delicious. Making a mental note to ask for extra next time as they were in too few of my bites. Rice was perfect, which is much harder than some realize. I’ll be back for more FORSURE. I got hungry writing this review and I may get some NOW!

had a rush of Thai food lust come over me while in Target tonight and after a quick Unilocal search decided on this place. I lucked out with little traffic and an easy parking spot in the lot for Ralph’s. I was pleased to discover that I made it in time for their happy hour special and enjoyed a $ 2 singha and $ 3 steamed veg dumplings which had 8 pieces in the order. I ordered tofu panang curry with brown rice and was extremely satisfied with what I received. The brown rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked, the curry was rich with silky tofu, carrots, red bell peps, and peas. After another singha, my total for everything was $ 16.30. This meal could have easily been shared between 2 people as I left with plenty of left over curry for a couple more meals. The only thing keeping this place from the full 5 stars is that it is a bit of a hole in the wall kind of place. I personally prefer a restaurant with a little grit… as long as they make great food who cares? I wouldn’t recommend going here with a date… but it’s perfect for a cheap and super satisfying dinner with a friend. The happy hour is definitely worth it and their lunch menu looked great as well. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. I will absolutely be back.

lol… driving around LA trying to find a food joint on a saturday night can be tough due to all the choices. Thankfully we came across Kinaree Bistro. Though the interior may not look like a Thai restaurant… it is after all a bistro lol. Small places in these places is a recipe for… great food! Panang Curry! hands down 5⁄5! consists of green beans, eggplants, mushrooms, corn, and red curry sauce, this is probably their best curry ever. Though its on the sweeter side compared to the other currys available, its notably one of their awesome dishes! portions were large, enough for two! Red Curry! 4⁄5 portion, taste, and overall balance of flavors is yummy. Chunks of chicken, with bamboo, etc… each curry is served with white rice. Pad Thai: 4⁄5 you can never go wrong with this dish! hands down delicious. However I thought they usually serve tofu in them, either way it was a delight! Im glad we stumbled upon this Thai Bistro, and the servers were polite, and efficient as was the service!

I’ve only ordered delivery from Kinaree(via Eat24). I’ve always had an OK experience. I get the Pad See Ew with tofu(very good), some rice(yes, rice and noodles — I know — what can I say?) and the fried vegetable dumplings. These dumplings aren’t pan fried… they’re more deep fried, so a little unusual. I prefer the pan fried type, but these are still… you guessed it… OK. Prices are very reasonable and delivery staff has always been friendly and prompt. You could do a lot worse for Thai delivery.

Came here for lunch. Heard it was some decent grub. Someone said affordable. Okay, blokes let try it on. The place shares a parking lot with Ralphs if you are driving. Free parking is the best kind of parking. Don’t have to deal with valet drivers. The server/owner is nice. She is very friendly. She seemed to be Thai. Thai owned thai place. Should be a no –brainer. Hmmmmmm. They have lunch specials. They hover around 8 – 9 bucks. Not a big bang for your buck. The portions are a nice size. Not big not small. Know your spice level. The spice level ranges from 1 to 5. 1 being weak sauce to 5 being their hottest. Not being a big fan of super duper spicy, I wimped out with a 2. It was not that spicy. I might try 3 next time The color of my lunch special was a bit dark orangey. I need visual queues in addition to the taste. And that color seems off. Non-natural color. My guest seems to enjoy their food so I guess it was just me that seemed offended by the non natural color of the food. The server was nice to let us split the check several ways and accept credit card for each bill. Seems minor but helps cut down the bickering on splitting the bill and who owes whom. Would I come back here? Probably not. If they want Thai. I might suggest going to Thai town and trying someplace else.

Yet another place I’ve lived next to for like 5 years and never ever tried until today. I ordered online via (love it, you can pick what you want — duh!, your appropriate level of spiciness, put in special requests, and you can pay cash, credit/debit, or paypal! I also like that you can use a feature on the website to split the cheque. Genius! Anyways, onto my order. I ordered the thai chicken, plain rice, and a thai iced tea. It came out to $ 12 and some change and I had a «wait» time of 7 minutes. By the time I had crossed Fountain to get there it was ready. The waitress was very polite and confirmed my whole order. It was all packed away neatly in a heavy paper bag. I got home and devoured it! The chicken was really yummy, and the portion was very good for the price(I think it was a good half chicken!). The spicy sauce was really good, at first I thought it wasn’t bad heat wise — but then I really began to feel the burn. I think I’ll stick to 3⁄5 on the spicy scale, I don’t think I can go higher. The rice was rice, no complaints there. Good sized portion. The Thai Ice Tea was divine, it was such a nice treat: D.
