Food was DELICIOUS, drinks were wonderful, had such a fantastic evening with my two friends. Would have given 5 stars if the server hadn’t slipped his card into my friend’s credit card book with a handwritten message on the back asking if she wanted to get drinks sometime. Not professional, not cool, pretty passive aggressively weird. May return, may get one drink and leave if this server is working, but would be sad if that happened because everything was excellent.

This is one of my favorite spots in west Hartford! My husband and I don’t visit too often simply because it can get expensive, when you want to eat and drink everything in the restaurant. The wine selection is outstanding, and the wait staff truly know what they are talking about with wine. The chicken meatball sliders are delicious, and so is there meat and cheeses that are served with fresh local honeycomb.

Great place with excellent choice of wine and other drinks. The food, plating and service was very good. Ambience was prefect for a family dinner or date. I would have def given it a 5 star rating if only they had some more vegetarian options.

Very good food and great setting. We had a range of food from the pork belly tacos to the pâté. The pâté, beef tartare, bone marrow, king crab chowder were standouts. It’s a very meat forward place, so if you are vegan, there are only a few options. However, if you are carnivorous, you are in for a great treat. Wonderful quality food.

I came here on a Friday night with a group of 10. I arrived a bit early and sat by the bar while my friends arrived. The bartender took a while to get me a wine menu, which was surprising because she was not occupied at the time. It took a while for the staff to seat us. I ordered the clams and the short rib. The short rib was delicious, but it was a bit too salty. I really had to wash down it down with my wine. Again, the short rib was still great because it was so tender. As for the clams, they were solid. I wished it was warmer because it was Luke warm when it arrived on my table. I like it and I wished they had some starch to soak up the acidity of the sauce. It was my friend’s birthday and they charged $ 2 per person for a cake cutting fee. I was a bit annoyed by that because most places charge a nominal or no fee for the cake. It wasn’t a big deal, but I wished they told us about it first.

Type of order: Dinner with friends. Tapa styles Food Quality: Excellent. Tapas /family style. No holding back on the quality of food. Beer Selection: They served beer there? Service: Very nice. Attentive, good experience. Atmosphere: Douchey. Eh, so what. Prices: Reasonable. Entertainment: Watching yuppy moms on their night off talk about how their duck tapas were better than so-and-so’s. Other than that, overall house music. Overall Experience: Pretty nice. Bit of a wait for a table, but food /service experience was nice. Just happens to be located in the hear of Douche Back Square… I mean Blue Back… I mean… well, you know. Recommend Rating: Definitely check it out. Totally solid offerings. Ear plugs suggested if you’re allergic to ridiculous conversation at the next table.

My main goal was having dessert, but I went through the formality of eating lunch before with a couple of friends. After all was eaten, did Vinted live up to its high reviews? For me, not really. The menu at Vinted is very limited, despite appearing to have numerous choices. My friends and I had to customize our orders by asking for things to be taken out of the meal listed on the menu. Everything was presented beautifully, and was pretty good though not very notable and cost a little bit too much. The service was not the best either, with our server not being very attentive, and as my friends and I were the only ones in the place when we went on a Saturday afternoon taking almost two hours total for a quick lunch(no appetizers; just meals and a dessert that we worked to pay the bill while eating it since it was taking so long). But let’s discuss the star of the meal here… The dessert… Espresso crème brûlée. That’s right – an espresso-flavored crème brûlée.(Being a coffee lover, I had to try it.) It was delicious, topped with a little dollop of housemade whipped cream. Perfectly flavored lightly with coffee, so it is not overwhelming. It was, however, a little too sugary for me and gave me a huge stomachache the rest of the day. While it tasted good at the time, it did not feel good later. A note for another dessert, the macarons. The macarons are packaged(likely shipped in, which you could tell from the quality and texture). You do not have a choice for flavors; you get what they serve you, and you have to have six or twelve. The texture of each was off from what a macaron should have for texture, and it was inconsistent between flavors – some being chewy while others being harder to chew. They were dusted with powdered sugar, which, while making for pretty presentation, was excessive and too sweet for this already sweet dessert. Vinted is very foofy, and while that can be good sometimes for special occasions and something that is definitely fun to try, I would not make a concerted effort to come back.

A brief, but necessary review of Vinted’s new lunch menu. Phenomenal. They feature an abridged version of their normally lengthy list of small plates, charcuterie, and well-selected cocktails. Whereas I normally go for a varied selection of shareable small plates, the lunch options were hearty enough to just choose one. My dining companion opted for the creamy, decadent truffled mac & cheese(a classic choice) and I ordered an amazing grilled lamb meatball baguette with fried eggplant, artichoke purée, feta, and salsa verde(plus a side of fries). At $ 10.95, it was filling & easy on the wallet!

Best ever. The intimate space, dim lighting, and classy décor make for a perfect date spot. As Emily C. has stated, the food here is rather decadent… there’s a whole lotta truffle butter, pork belly, and fried goodness going on! Just keep this in mind if your eyes happen to be bigger than your stomach, like mine. ;) The only downside was that it was SO packed that night, we ended up sitting at the very crowded bar. It was a game night, so there were quite a few douchebag-y types(sorry, but true!) standing all around us, literally rubbing elbows, and yelling at the TV. Despite all this, we had a fantastic time! Our bartender was very attentive, intelligent, and gave us great recommendations for drinks and menu items. We even chatted up a regular at the bar… a charming and amicable business man who travels from afar to visit Vinted! Overall, we loved our experience, from the food to the ambiance. I can’t wait to go back soon!

I’ve been meaning to write about Vinted for a while now. My boyfriend and I make a point of going a few times a month, its one of our new favorite spots! The fact that they have wine on TAP is so great. I can tell when wine in a restaurant has been open for a while. it really does affect the taste and overall flavor. My fellow wine lovers, you’ll never come across this problem here. No longer are we forced to get the same wine and share a bottle because we want a fresh glass of wine. now we can get exactly what we want and by the glass!(but most likely drink 4 of them which means I should have just gotten a bottle) I love their tapas, they have great different options for everyone, from meat lovers to fish, and vegetarian options. Most are decent portions, some are a bit on the small side, but oh well! The bartenders are also extremely knowledgeable, I mean, you kind of have to be when it comes to wine. No BS’ing here. Definitely a great spot to stop in for a glass of wine, but also a great place to get comfy, stay a while, and warm up with a nice red and some tapas.

Trendy little wine bar/restaurant tucked away in Blue Back square West Hartford. I recently went here twice for happy hour and dinner. The ambiance is great, seating was prompt, and service was friendly. Vinted has an upscale look, but remains unpretentious and casual at the same time. For happy hour I sat at the bar and the bartender was very knowledgable about all the menu items and gave in depth descriptions of the different options. I think he overheard me mention to my friend that I was a vegetarian so he gave me some pointers about the menu. I was impressed. As for the food, the truffled risotto balls definitely live up to the hype. You should order those. We also go the hummus with pita bread and my friend had the salmon. We all thought the food was terrific. As for drinks, my friends and I weren’t in the mood for wine so we ordered some specialty mixed drinks. I forget what mine was called(the .pdf cocktail menu on their website is outtdated), but the waiter described it as tasting like a «york peppermint patty» and it did not disappoint. However, my friend ordered a drink called the«Naked and Famous» which tasted like motor oil. It was seriously disgusting and she specifically remarked that I should mention it in my review. So if you are one of the few people who doesn’t come here for the wine, ask for the mixed drink that tastes like a peppermint patty, NOT the naked and famous. Hopefully this drink will be rightfully retired from the menu shortly.

Very happy with our lunch while Christmas shopping! Very cozy/romantic setting with interesting menu options that don’t disappoint. We had the Duck Confit«Grilled Cheese» with Roquefort /Beet /Apple /Watercress /Balsamic Glaze… so tasty; def not your typical grilled cheese(hence the quotation marks on the menu), but their take will make your belly happy! We also went with the Grilled Lamb Meatball Baguette with Fried Eggplant /Artichoke Purée /Salsa Verde /Feta; tasty flavor of what you would expect with this sandwich & another favorite. Both of these sandwiches were served with fries. If you are looking for a cozy spot with unique dishes, definitely stop in to Vinted… next time we are in WeHa, we will have to go for dinner & enjoy their vast selection of wines too!

What I love best about this place is the atmosphere. It’s such a nice looking, upscale bar, but the scene is casual. I haven’t had much for food here, as I usually come for a quick happy hour drink. I love all of the wine choices — plenty of sparkling wine/champagnes to choose from by the glass or bottle. And with the wines, you can choose your size. If you just want a taste, you pay for just an ounce. This is a fun way to create your own flights. You can also do 3 and 6 oz. pours. It’s a fun way to taste wine with friends. My favorite cocktail is the Amelia: Tito’s with blackberry purée, elderflower, and lemon. It is not a sweet drink at all. It is perfectly balanced and goes down so smoothly. I only wish it were on the happy hour menu as they are $ 12 each.

Not the best fist impression. And it struck me hard that this place is more«wanna be climber» and not a bona fide upscale gastro-bar. The hostess was rude & w a little too much force told us that despite the cool couple that offered us their table, that it was reserved after they leave so we couldn’t have it. She didn’t offer another option. Abrupt! So we seated ourselves at the bar. Our bartender was overwhelmed, so I ask the female server for a simple glass of seltzer & rather than saying«no problem»(on the low she could have simply told our bartender to get it) she stated clearly irritated that«I’ll let your server know.» Wow. Great thanks. Long story short we had: risotto balls– decent, truffled popcorn– addictive, Thai seafood soup– very tasty, short rib, truffle & egg thing– good, warm onion«dip» — lame & not at all creamy & lacked over all flavor. Nothing we had achieved depth of flavor despite adding truffle & Parmesan to too many things on the menu. I was craving citrus & tang & heat which I didn’t receive. Standouts: Chic interior, varied & ample wine list, pleasant & knowledgable bartender, modern chill atmosphere. Better for small plates & good wine. Disappointments: reservations required on busier nights unless you can squeeze in at the bar, food sounded better than it actually tasted, rude hostess & waitress, loud.

Tucked away in Blue Back Square is where you will find Vinted. I tried Vinted when they first opened and was blown away. The selection of wines is always outstanding, along with the their cocktails and beers alike. I was initially surprised with the variety of spirits outside the realm of wine. The interior is romantic and has a very warm feel to it. I really enjoy the two different bar areas, that are separated by the individual high-top tables. If you want to enjoy a variety of different wines or want to enjoy a cocktail, there is an area specifically for you. I have celebrated many occasions there and have never left disappointed. The food is always delicious and the plate presentation is gorgeous. The creative direction behind their food is incredible. A MUST order are the risotto balls, they are out of this world. The truffle oil popcorn is another must order. The pork belly tacos are incredibly delish! The steak tartare is another one of my favorites, served with a freshly cracked quail egg. I guess you could consider every dish that I have tried falls into the category of being«my favorite». All around, I have not tried one thing on the menu I did not like. And for desserts, the feeling is exactly the same. When I visit Vinted, I usually always opt for a glass of red wine, opposed to a cocktail or beer. Their wine list offers a lovely variety of reds and whites. If you are unsure if you will like the wine that you want to order because you simply have not tried it, ask your server for a sample. They are more than willing to have you try your wine before committing.

Well this place is adorable. I came here for happy hour one day and ate way too much food. They had a wide selection of food on the happy hour menu ranging from cheese to mussels to truffled mac & cheese to pork belly bao buns. We ordered pretty much everything. They also had $ 5 glasses of white, red and a rose. The food was really good. We seriously ordered about 15 things so I can’t possibly review them all. The highlights were the truffled mac & cheese, fried artichokes, pork belly bao and mussels. Also, this place has a wide selection of wines and offers 1 ounce, 3 ounce and 6 ounce pours(as well as bottles). It’s a nice way to come and try a few different wines. This place is a little expensive so just be forewarned(it’s WeHa center after all…)

Vinted(which autocorrects to binges on my phone, that is apt) is the perfect date night/special occasion spot in West Hartford even despite being located in the nausea-inducing area that is Blue Back Square. They have happy hour from 4 – 6 every day and ½ off bottles on some days, including Sunday I think. Go at these times if you want to save. My boyfriend went here for dinner at 5:15 tonight. Got their glasses of wine at 5 $ each and indulged in the taste of w. hartford menu — app main & dessert for 25.15 each. I had the fried brussel sprouts and couldn’t recommend them enough. They were cooked perfectly, the sauce they were with was very complimentary and the bacon on them was delicious. The plate was set up really elegantly too. My boyfriend had the tomato salad and was similarly impressed. The braised short rib with fingerling potatoes was incredible, perfectly tender and almost falling apart, presentation immaculate. I really loved it. The potatoes were great too. My boyfriend’s pasta with pork was also fantastic. The sauces on each dish were rich and delicious. We each had the toffee sheets with valrhona chocolate for dessert with molten marshmallow on the side. HIGHLYRECOMMEND! The service here is great and the pacing is also well done — we never felt like we waited too long but by no means were we rushed, we were there for about 1.75 hours overall. Definitely hit up the happy hour deals, they’re great. Not a good place to go if you’re counting calories. This is an awesome little spot and I want to shout it to the rooftops & bring everyone I know. Find an occasion to eat here, you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been meaning to update this review for a while now. I’ve visited Vinted many times since my original visit, and have been pleased with my experiences. Most importantly, every time since my first visit the waitstaff and bartenders have been attentive and friendly, and often very helpful in choosing wine or food for the evening. My favorite times to frequent Vinted are either during happy hour or, even better, during a half-price wine night, which is either Sunday or Monday. On these days, the half-off deal includes all wines under $ 80. I wish it went a smidge higher, because my favorite wine on their menu is actually just over 80, but it’s still a good deal. There are some great choices on the menu, and the ½ off deal brings them down to a reasonable price. As of now, if you like interesting reds I recommend Paraduxx red blend from Napa. It’s a zin and cab blend, pretty unique, and great with food. I’m always impressed with the food. I have not had anything I haven’t found delicious here, and the happy hour food options are fantastic. I often try a few to start and then end up getting a second order of whichever small plate I found most delicious that night. Give it a whirl! If you want to sample a small amount of an expensive wine, this is a great place to do so. You can get a 3oz pour of something before investing in a large glass or bottle. I plan on returning many times to Vinted to bask in the atmosphere and savor their delicious bites of food with a tasty wine.

What a cool place!!! Went early on a Friday evening(5pm) before some shopping. Pretty empty so I didn’t get to fully experience the atmosphere. On to the food: the fried risotto balls were absolutely amazing. I wish I ordered 3 more bowls(probably will do that next time…) Anyway, the charcuterie platter was so fun and delicious. My fiancé opted for the Mac and cheese with melt-in-your-mouth ribs. Again, totally ordering that for myself next time. Really nice and informed staff that can help explain any items or wines on the menu. So, that is always a plus for me! Did I mention the risotto balls?

I’ve only been here once but it was enough to make me a fan. Everything on the menu sounds delightful, it’s going to be hard to decide! I ended up with the Atlantic Salmon and it was delicious. The fish was tender enough to melt in my mouth and the honey glaze made the carrots lip smacking good. Oh and the mussels! I also tried the mussels which are unique because they are served in a sake and ginger broth. I thought it was an odd combination at first but they were so delicious, we went through them quick. What’s neat about Vinted is that they offer wines in multiple sizes(1oz, 3oz, 6oz) plus by bottle so it’s fun to do a mini wine tasting at the table. I came on a Monday and ordered a bottle after learning it was half off, but would definitely come back to sample more wine. The atmosphere is intimate yet laid back enough to be comfortable. The plates are small and could be pricy, but this is also a wine bar in West Hartford so it’s not too outrageous either. Our waiter was also very attentive and helpful too. I’m looking forward to my next visit!
