We had dinner for my husbands birthday last Friday and I have nothing but great things to say about this place. We felt so special every step of the way. We started with the sweet chili calamari and it was such a great appetizer. The sauce is different than your normal marinara and made the dish. Afterwards we split the filet mignon and tried the bone in ribeye. It was amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were exceptional. For dessert we had the lava cake. We had to order it early but it is well Worth having to make the decision sooner. I have never had a better lava cake anywhere else. Our server, Kerry was great. We were approached by managers Gina and Noelle who were delightful. They acknowledged my husbands birthday and we got chocolate truffles at the end of the night. All in all I am so happy we chose Flemings to celebrate our special occasion. We will be back soon!

We met our adult kids here for dinner on a Sunday night. The cocktails were good and the food was tasty and hot, but our server forgot to put in the orders for our side dishes, so they arrived(with apologies) at the table after we had finished eating the meat. Then they appeared on our bill. We were also charged for a dessert that was included with a special. We mentioned that, and it was removed from the bill, but we didn’t say anything about our surprise to see charges for the after-entrée side dishes. We also asked about validation for parking, because we had to go into the garage, and we were assured that Sunday parking was free. Not so. We had to pay to exit the garage. All of this combined to make the evening a less enjoyable experience that we anticipated, and I’m not sure that we will return.

Last night my husband and I had the pleasure of celebrating our 31st birthday at Fleming’s. We share a birthday and this year we opted for an intimate dinner not too far from home but wanted to enjoy a good meal. Fleming’s and our waiter, Anthony(Tony) Bonsignore, did not disappoint! He made sure that we enjoyed every course(looking for suggestions? go for the pork belly app, dry aged steak for entrée, and chocolate cake for dessert if you time order it ahead to avoid a wait while it bakes) he even brought us out complimentary birthday gifts! We will definitely return and ask for Tony if he’s there!

I have to say I’m highly disappointed in my experience here. My friends and I love to try new places and tonight decided to have our group go to Flemings. We already didn’t feel welcomed and we figured maybe because we were a younger group of girls. But we are in the industry and always take care of our servers and bartenders. But we seemed to have been judged right off the bat. One of the girls asked for a regular menu and was told it was fine. We had our prefix meal and the appetizer and salad were fine. We asked about certain meals and were told the chicken was great, but it was not what we expected at all. Dry, no sauce. I could get better chicken anywhere, literally. There was a spicyness to a lot of the side dishes which was fine with me but not with the rest of the group. We asked a couple times if we could get a group picture but the server said he would come back and then it was he would do desserts first… And never got back to us on that. When he brought the bill he told our one friend who ordered from the regular menu that she was just put on the main bill to make it easy. That being said, she was charged the pre fix, after getting a steak and Mac and cheese. When the server was asked why she wasn’t given her separate check or order he said because the sides went on the table. We said because we got the prefix we get those sides. She ordered her own side. Right there we felt taken advantage of. The steak was dry, the chicken was dry, and the presentation was not there.(Besides the appetizer, go figure). For $ 180 a piece, with average of 2 drinks per person… And the food, not on point… We’ll pass a second time.

Try as I might, I just cannot get behind Flemings. I’ve tried dinner and happy hour… considering the cost id really have to say that things have been lackluster at best. The good: the wine list and the service. The waitstaff is always excellent and super on top of their game. The food is just okay though, and they are super expensive!!! I don’t mind paying for expensive food when I was out thinking«wow, that was awesome and definitely something I could never make myself.» But you know what? I’ve cooked a filet that was better, I’ve made myself a burger that was juicer, I’ve sautéed vegetables that were tastier… and that’s just not ok when you’re paying $ 75 per person for dinner and drinks. Their prime burger, while a good deal at happy hour, isn’t anything to write home about. Honestly I think other restaurants in the area have better ones. I just keep getting disappointed here and I’m not sure what else to do other than cross it off my list of dinner options. It’s too bad because it’s a great location, the décor is great and the waitstaff couldn’t be better. Sorry Flemings!

I’ve heard great things about this place for a while and I really wanted to try it. I walk in and wait quite some time to be seated as the waiter stands at the podium wide eyed and staring at the little computer there. It was pretty awkward. Suddenly her head jerked up and she said«whoa» and then muttered«that was trippy…» Then she said, «how can I help you» soon we were seated and waited a good 20 min for the waiter to come back, we looked around and saw her in the distance staring at the computer again. I called a different waiter over and told her what was going on. She nodded as if that happens a lot, and she asked us for our drinks a little while later, she came back and asked for our food. I ordered a steak and my wife got a salad. After about 45 minutes of waiting our food came and I have to say it is not what I expected. The meat was raw on one side and burnt on the other to the point of char. The waiter that was staring at the screen came over when we were half way done and said she was sorry very sheepishly. She said she would comp our meal though which I though was nice but after we finished she was nowhere to be seen and did not comp our meal! I was furious! since She was going to pay for it I ordered some desserts which were beyond gross, They were tasteless pieces of garbage. Altogether the bill came to over 150 dollars! NOTPLEASED!!! WILLNEVERBEBACK!!!

Took my father here for his recent birthday. The service was exceptional! The restaurant went above and beyond to make him feel extra special and we all really appreciated it. The food was wonderful, we ordered a variety of items from the menu ranging from the calamari, sea bass to steak, of course. If you’re looking for a great steak meal, you will not be disappointed here. The à la carte pricing can add up quickly, but if you want to sample without shelling out too much, definitely come for a happy hour!

Lovely outdoor dining area. Blueberry lemon drop perfectly tart with a nice balance of a sugared rim. Pork belly a little bland but the accompanying sauce was nice. Have to say very disappointed in the shrimp cocktail; while the shrimp were large they were horribly over cooked and rubbery. A one star for the shrimp. The filet was perfectly cooked medium rare, perfectly joined by creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes. Crème brûlée delectable and service 5 stars.

The food was great, but I’ve had better with sides included for much less. The service was fantastic along with the ambiance. A great spot for a nice date. Especially if you’re trying to impress. As I said, everything is a la carte, so if you’re wanting a salad and a side with your steak, you’re easily going to be paying $ 70+.

I can’t believe in all the years I’ve lived here I never tried the Flemings happy hour. I’ve been right down the street from delicious fried calamari at $ 6!!! Who knew. Great app choices and a burger and fries for $ 9. There are a variety of drinks on HH special. You might pay a few more dollars than you would at other spots in the center but it is worth it for the quality. Minus one star for a bill problem that took a while to figure out. Try the Lauren — Ward 8 with burrata

** happy hour review ** Definitely one of the most solid happy hour menus in terms of taste and variety, but the service was super spotty and sometimes amusingly bad. You really cannot go wrong with any of the items on the happy hour menu. I especially loved the burrata — great taste and quantity of food! — as well as the pork belly — not as abundant but so melty. However, our waitress totally forgot two of our orders and asked us multiple times if we wanted more of something we had already ordered. It wasn’t particularly busy, but since it happened multiple times, her forgetting was very memorable. Nonetheless, that won’t stop me from coming back again. Just expect to maybe have to remind your server multiple times what you ordered.

My Valentine Cupid wanted dine out on The Day, so Flemings seemed fitting. My thinking, why not have good cut of steak & a good brewski with all that Love in the Air. Best reservation for four, made 2 weeks prior, 7:45 pm; versus 4:30 pm — not. Good indication right off the bat we’ll be seeing plenty of other couples dazed by their Cupids. We arrived ahead of our friends and proceeded to the bar. The dining area was full and buzzing with extra waitstaff for the evening; signed of good management. Being a frigid night a warm beverage was the right choice for my shivering Cupid. I thought a Craft draft ale would be a good start. «What? No draft taps! Just bottled beer. Oy!» I settled for a bottle of Ommegang Abbey Ale(best on hand). The focus here is really on the wine. Nothing wrong with wine, but this Fella prefers a choice draft with his quality high end cut of beef. Our friends arrived, the bar was a nice place to wait & chat while the table was prepared, which was available on-time. Bread & spreads arrived, additional drinks ordered, and the menu studied in depth. Appetizers: crab cakes, Thai calamari, &2 salads — all shared. Main course: 2 aged 11 oz rib eyes for the guys, salmon and a petite fillet for the gals. Sides are a la carte and 3 were ample for sharing: Smashed red potatoes, grilled asparagus, and sautéed mushrooms. Desert: Fresh chocolate lava cake a la Ice Cream! A fine closure to a high end feast. Flemings is definitely a splurge for most, including this food, but well worth a special occasion. They’ll earn their 5th Star by providing quality draft choices.

Oook well I tried to create a review as I checked in but apparently that’s not how this works… Anyway, this is our 3rd year coming here for our Christmas Eve dinner… holy cow was this place crowded this year! I guess either the economy is better or people really don’t like to cook anymore(we never did). Due to the extra crowd the wait was longer than usual for every part of the experience. Sitting, drinks, dinner and dessert. But you know what? It Christmas Eve, if we can’t relax and take our time enjoying our evening I don’t know when we can?! Fleming’s staff did a wonderful job making sure we knew that timing was a bit longer than usual. They checked on us and really made sure we were ok. You could look around and see that it was crazy, but we never felt it which was excellent. These are the days where you truly learn how good a staff is. Well done. Steaks(Filet and bone-in ribeye) and Fleming’s potatoes were insanely good as usual. Nice and crispy on outside and beautiful even red color on the inside for medium rare. They are very consistent with how they cook their steaks, at least in our experiences. Overall great experience even with the wait. We will see you guys next Christmas Eve, if the man upstairs allows! Oh and Sophie(our pup) agrees with our assessment of our steaks. ;-)

If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion or impress a first date by spending too much money for dinner, Fleming’s is a good place to check out. Just be prepared, because the bill can easily surpass $ 100 per person before tip. I went the other night for my girlfriend’s company’s holiday party, and her boss has more money than he knows what to do with, so I was explicitly told to get whatever I wanted and not worry about how much it cost. Sounds like my kind of dinner! Along with each of our dinners, there were about 5 sides that were shared among the group. Out of those, I tried their delicious and creamy chipotle mac & cheese, decent tasting but poorly textured mashed potatoes, chewy calimari with the sauce drizzled over it(I can dip my own, thank you) and their surprisingly spicy Thai green beans. Most of them were moderately priced, with the exception of the shrimp cocktail, which was about $ 20 for I believe 5 pieces of shrimp that turned out to not be shareable to the person who wanted to order it. He also added that they were overcooked, so I’m glad I didn’t get one to try. Being known for their steaks, there wasn’t a question as to what my entrée would be, it was just a matter of what cut I wanted. But before it was time for a steak, it was time for a salad. I’m a huge fan of Caesars, and their version piqued my interest. I’ve had some good Caesar salads before, and Fleming’s version was right up there. The addition of fried capers and prosciutto chips really put it over the top and was a fantastic way to prepare myself for my upcoming steak. Among the many cuts of steak on their menu, I opted for the dry-aged prime rib eye. Along with their standard method of broiling, the waiter also mentioned they did a salt and pepper crusted version, so I opted for that. The steak had a very good flavor, albeit a little overcooked from my requested medium-rare. The crust added a great texture that contrasted very well with the inside of the steak. The man paying for the meal had to send his steak back, since he said the double lobster tails that topped it were overcooked. He later stated his surprise and displeasure to the waiter when he found out they weren’t comped from the bill. I guess people with a lot of money expect things to get comped more than the normal guy. Oh, to have money. Must be nice! On the drinks side, I had their terrific version of an Old Fashioned and I tried some of my girlfriend’s Colby Red wine, which was fruity and dry and a great accompaniment to steak. I topped my dinner off with their crème brûlée, which was solidly above average. So, why only 3 stars? Well, I know steak places are usually on the more expensive side, but I think it was a little much. The steaks were between $ 40 – 60 which isn’t ~terrible~ for a steak restaurant, but that is the price for just the steak and nothing with it. So that $ 50 steak then becomes $ 60 if you want anything with it. With a group of seven of us, the bill easily shot past $ 700 before tip, which is just mind boggling to me. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about their menu, although he talked too quickly, as if he was trying to speed though everything. He was understanding about the overcooked lobster tails, but didn’t give in to the check-payer’s not too subtle mention that he expected them to be comped from the bill(which I was proud of him from — the rich don’t need to get everything!). Overall, it was a nice experience, and the ambiance was pretty romantic. We were lucky enough to be seated next to their wine room, so it was really cool to see all the bottles they had store. However, I don’t think I’d ever go there if I actually had to pay for the food. I’ve had similar, if not better, tasting steaks for much(MUCH) cheaper either at other restaurants or making them myself. And if I can do it almost better myself, why would I pay $ 60 for them to do it for me, and then an additional $ 40 for a side, a drink, and a dessert?

Amazing!!! This is always a great steakhouse but on this visit we had one purpose: The prime rib dinner. During the week of Halloween, Flemings hosted a 7 day special that included Salad of choice, prime rib, side of choice and a dessert. Reservations were easy to make the day of for a table of two. We ordered a bottle of Jam Jar(sweet shiraz) and our dinners. The salads were served with chilled plates and chilled forks, the prime rib was exquisitely seasoned and perfectly cooked(served with an au jus and horse radish sauce). We had the spicy green beans(these are actually really hot so if you don’t like hot food you might want to reconsider this option) and the creamed spinach– both delicious. Also ordered ahead their made from scratch lava cake which was to die for. Highly recommend this semi-formal steak house any time.

Hate is a strong word… but I might truly hate this restaurant. We were«conned» into coming here when we received one of their $ 40 Amex coupons in the mail. Sounded intriguing, but little did we know that $ 40 buys you roughly one green bean and maybe a single piece of calamari at this godforsaken establishment. Let’s start from the beginning. We sat down and promptly ordered a bottle of Mark West, which was appropriately marked up about 1000% from the $ 8.99 shelf price. It was 2013 vintage though! Oooh la la(FARTSOUND). Screw it, the wine was pretty good. The only problem was the fact that the entire bottle was gone before a single morsel of food appeared on the table. We weren’t guzzling this wine either… it just happened to take a solid HOUR for our pork belly app and salads to arrive! I have no explanation for this, as the restaurant was NOT crowded. WHATEVER, it would be worth the wait, right? Imagine my disappointment when 3 bites of pork belly arrived at the table(see attached pic). At $ 18, this dish averages out to about $ 3.50 per chew. Get the &#%* outta here. We hadn’t given up hope yet. The salads and entrees would be the real deal! FAAAAAAAART, nope! Our salads were soggy, and almost seemed as if they’d been pre-prepared and tossed into a fridge(I don’t want to believe this, but that’s what it tasted like). My wife’s salad also contained a fried goat cheese ball that was FROZEN. Lol, so not only was it not freshly prepared, but they hadn’t even remembered to warm it up! In their defense, the Manager owned up to this and comped it from our bill. Anyway, onto the entrees. 2HOURS into our dining adventure, our steaks arrived. All I can say is that I actually giggled when they put my $ 49 steak down on the table(please see pic). After giggling for a few moments I almost started to cry, as I knew at this point that I’d be leaving hungry. One saving grace was a side of Flemings Potatoes, which are prepared au gratin style. I found this to be delightful after I separated out the potatoes that weren’t fully cooked. All in all, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences of my life. When you dine for 2+ hours, spend nearly 2 billz, and still feel the need to stop at McDonalds for a double cheeseburger on the way home, there’s something wrong. WILL. NOT. BE. BACK.

Very traditional upscale chain steakhouse. I haven’t been for dinner but the happy hour(also available on weekends!) is tremendous. They have a 5 for $ 6 until 7PM menu. Good happy hour prices, great cocktails, and even better food. If you can get there early on a summer Saturday or Sunday and stake out a spot on the patio, that’s the best way to do it! My favorite happy hour appetizer is the burrata cheese. The staff is always nice and accommodating. I went for happy hour and wasn’t in time for an outdoor table. We sat at the bar and the bartender watched out for us and moved us outside as soon as one became available. Very good experience.

Hands down, one of the top 3 worst dining experiences I have ever had in my life for several reasons. I was thrilled when my boyfriend(after hearing me talk about wanting to come here forever) surprised me and made reservations for 7pm on a Wednesday night. I was looking forward to this all week long once I knew he was taking me. After being seated in the middle of an incredibly loud and dark dining room, I pushed my pride aside and reminded myself why I wanted to try this place. I was here for the food, not the ambiance — which unfortunately was only lending itself about 2 stars. Our server Keya, was amazingly nice and professional. Before I say anything else, I think it’s crucial to say that Keya and the manager, are the only reasons why I have chosen not to place complete blasphemy on the Flemings name. My boyfriend ordered the salmon dish(about $ 40) and I ordered the Filet Mignon(about $ 40). A calamari appetizer that was $ 16 and a side dish of asparagus that was $ 13. Two glasses of wine that were $ 12 total. The wine was the best part of the meal. Let me repeat that: My WINE was the best part of the meal. I’m allergic to green and red peppers so I wasn’t able to eat the calamari because when you think calamari, you think red pepper sauce. The $ 13 asparagus? Forget that too — red peppers covered the top, with no mention of them anywhere on the menu. My boyfriend’s $ 40 salmon dish was a joke — my picky 3 year old daughter eats more in one meal than was on his plate. My dish showed up with a mound of parsley sprinkled all over it. Jokingly, I blew the parsley off the plate and we ate confetti-style for dinner, parsley peppered all over the white tablecloth. My steak, which I asked to be cooked medium was completely well done. Not just a touch of well done. Well done. Black well done. Left on the grill for 25 minutes well done. Hockey puck well done. My $ 40 hockey puck is so well done, Sidney Crosby’s autographed puck should be hanging out at the dollar store on one of the shelving units next to generic toilet bowl cleaner and a can of dog food. After I watched my boyfriend finish his meal before I could even have someone take mine away to correct it, the busboy(read: shouldn’t have been hired ever) took the entire $ 13 side dish of asparagus from my boyfriend before we could even say anything. Our meal was so bad, they boxed mine up because we just wanted to leave, everything was comped, we were given a box of truffles and a $ 50 gift card to return. We won’t be. No way, no how, no never.

I think Flemmings is a place not to come to on a big holiday. I came here on Mother’s Day, and the place was jammin’! That sounds like a good thing, but when you’re expected A-Quality service and a memorable dining experience, it is definitely not the day to come. Our waitress seemed ‘busy’ the entire time, never refilled our waters, and made us feel rushed when making our orders. Not to mention she wasn’t very helpful with recommendations. The food is pricey, almost to the point where we felt it was unreasonable. However, I came back down to earth to realize where I was. This ain’t Outback. I opted for the prime rib dinner as it was the most sensibly priced, coming with a salad, 8oz prime rib, and dessert! The prime rib was awesome, i finished every bite. The prime rib also came with one side, for which i opted for String beans, which were nicely spiced and plentiful. My advice, go with the prime rib dinner. I also got a taste of my boyfriends dry aged steak, SOGOOD. So while i was quite disappointed with the service and overall experience of the meal, my taste buds enjoyed it. Hopefully i’ll be back to get the full experience.
