Sizzler

This is the best sizzler i have been to. I would go a couple times to the one in baldwin park with my family but I prefer this one. The customer service is excellent. I definitely recommend this place.

We were satisfied with our visit today. The barramundi meal was nice. Other than that we all had the salad bar.
My suggestions would be to leave out dessert cups (the clear scalloped ones are nice) and soup bowls so we can sample them easily, and PLEASE get corn fritters for the hot foods section of the salad bar! I would’ve given 4 stars if you had corn fritters.

My parents and I used to come to this location frequently when my mother was still alive. Today my father decided he wants to come back here again after 5 years since we’ve been here with my mom. It did not disappoint. I ordered the triolicios… steak shrimp and riblets. My father ordered the steak and jumbo shrimp. The jumbo shirmp is not that jumbo but delicious. The riblets is not something to talk about. The steak however is delicious and juicy, and I’m not a steak guy. The server is friendly and attentative. Overall its a good place to enjoy lunch and will definitely come back again.

My mom and I ate here with my offspring tonight (2÷15÷16). We were actually here last night for Valentine’s Day dinner but struck out when it was our turn to order when we were informed that they had run out of lobster. This was at 8 pm. My dad was super upset because we were in line for 15 minutes and he wanted someone from the staff to have informed people in line who were there specifically for their steak and lobster plate like he was. (LOL) He has a point but it wasn’t enough for me to be as upset as he was. I guess he really wanted lobster lol
So tonight I called first to make sure they were serving lobster and Francesca answered as polite as can be as usual and confirmed they had it. Sucks for my dad since he caught the flu overnight.
Surf and turf plate was delicious. Steak was perfectly medium. What I don’t like is they ask you to cut in the meat to ensure its cooked to your liking. I mean I get why do it but you can tell they didn’t let the meat rest before they plated and served it because all the juices were gushing out. I wanted to eat the lobster first but couldn’t for fear that my steak would be dried out.
I’m glad this place gets mostly good reviews. Every time we come here, which is mostly for all major holidays, to please my dad, I’ve witnessed the staff being the most courteous and doing the best they can to please all the diners in the most efficient way possible. Even though it’s a zoo, it seems everyone is professional and trained really well to handle the rush.
I’m sure we will be back sooner than later.

I came here on a Wed with two coworkers and a customer. There were plenty of tables and the service was great. From the hostess/​cashier to the servers and manager, everyone was so friendly and helpful.
The salad bar was well stocked and we walked away feeling very content. Our customer ordered the tri tip plate and he finished it — good sign that it was also good. Very exceptional customer service, restaurant is clean and you get a great meal for the value. Will definitely return and recommend.

This Sizzler is top notch, each and every time we come here we experience a great meal at reasonable prices. The salad bar NEVER disappoints and the manager Mr. Martin Vasquez is a great addition to this team. My husband looks at me and said you know babe, that is what you call a great Manager, I turned around to see who he was pointing at and it was Mr Vasquez, he was sweeping the carpet and cleaning away. He is always very nice and goes out if he’s way to make sure the customers are happy and I love that. He is a perfect example of how restaurants should run their show. The bead pudding is delish…

This was my first time coming here or to any sizzler I didn’t know what to expect got here little bit after they open so it was kind of empty I ordered the mountain of ribs and they where so delicious mmmmmm!!! Very tasty the service was good it did get very busy about an hour after I got there but I will be back for more ribs oh and that bread with cheese so good!!!

I’ve been to other Sizzlers, but this place is different. Yuppers… solid four stars.
First off, it’s packed, busy and no seating. Ok, I can deal with that.
But, it’s the way that they treat you… warm reception /​cheerful attitude from everyone in the place including the manager. And it’s a team effort since all the employees are checking up on your needs and promptly refilling your drinks, and grabbing dirty dishes off of the table.
The steak that I normally get at other Sizzlers (Did I say Covina) is dry, petite and grungy. But for some reason the steak here is slightly larger, moist and juicy… mmmmmm… and they pushed me to get the shrimp and rice as sides for a small amount of money. It was an excellent suggestion. Oh and that baked potato smothered in extra butter, sour cream and «YES» I do pour A-​1 steak sauce all over my baked potato.

I was here in August 2015 and I ordered the ribeye the most expensive item on this places menu. After they recieved the order i was left waiting about 30 minutes. They was suppose to be a medium-​rare cooked steak. Once they came out the server quickly plopped it on the table and quickly walked away. Once i inspected the meat as I do, i noticed it was mostly fat.
15 minutes later I finally got a servers attention. I told him to look at the fat and that i needed my money back. He called his manager, he took about 5 or 10 minutes. He insisted that their ribeye was the best and he would replace it, i didnt want anything at this point i was gonna go elsewhere. So we spent about 10 more minutes trying to explain that to this thick skulled manager, who hardly spoke any english. Eventually i got the money for my order back. Bad experience i would give them no stars if possible.

Best Sizzlers Ive attended. Great service. Food comes out quick and hot. Salad bar always stocked with fresh food.

I had the pleasure of trying the steak and the salad bar! Well I was going to give this place 4 stars but my steak came with shrimp and a potato and something… That looked like my dad made it out of scratch for breakfast. It was like a piece of ham with cheese on top? I don’t know maybe it was chicken? I didn’t want to waste my stomach room so I didn’t eat it. The salad bar was pretty legit. My only gripe was the spaghetti. It was fake spaghetti! Overall my experience was good! The service was good. Food was average. Place filled up around 5 and there was a long line! It’s a poppin place on Friday nights hehe.

Great service and good food for a very reasonable price. The salad bar is a must! Either with a meal or without. The resturant is spacious so it’s a nice place to catch up with friends/​family. We were actually the last group to leave the resturant while they started cleaning up for the night. They did not rush our party out of the resturant, and even asked if we wanted extra dishes for dessert before they closed up.
Definitely 5 star service, and fortunately better than some 5 star resturants service.
I will definitely be returning to this location.

Been coming to this sizzler for years, and finally got Unilocal,so figured I’d review it. I usually order some burger, steak or, pasta, but decided to try something different. I usually enjoy everything I order here, but not this time around unfortunately.
I ordered the the fish & chips, and a strawberry sorbet drink. Sizzler is known for their seafood, but was disappointed with their fish. The fish was way too oily for me, and didn’t taste like it was seasoned at all. Each bite was an oily explosion in my mouth. I literally just ate the fish by itself, and took off the extra oil off the fish, and removed the batter. The fries and the drink however, were delicious. The fries were nice and soft, and we’re really fresh. The drink wasn’t too sweet either. Strawberry sorbet was a new drink, and was I happy with it overall.
I really enjoy this Sizzlers, and will always come with family. Everything else I order here would easily be a 4 star, but just didn’t enjoy the fish & chips sadly.

I’d like to come back to this place from time to time. However, this time I was disappointed because the foods are a bit salty. The sauce of the «Cedar Plank Salmon», the clam chowder, and some of the pre-​made salad dishes are little over salt. The beef from the beef vegetable soup is not soft enough.
I will come back another time to try the foods again.

The location in West Covina uses deceptive and misleading practices when pricing and when upgrade your entrée selection. This is not representative your brand I am very disappointed

I’ve been coming to this sizzler for years and today was by far the best service I’ve ever received.
Brought my family together for my mom’s birthday (obviously a big deal for me) and they very kindly took the cake that I brought and stored in their fridge during our dinner. Our waitresses were both extremely helpful and also sincere which is so unheard of in the service industry. Finally when I signaled one of our waitresses they brought over a complimentary ice cream sundae for my mom and did their birthday song with a few other servers. I then asked about the cake I had originally given to them and they brought that out with the candles I had also brought as well and helped us sing another happy birthday.
Overall, main reason of this post was just to say how amazed I was at the service we received tonight. I actually had to thank the manager himself (i believe his name is Oracio) because in this day and age of unlimited choices for dining, what will truly set a establishment apart is the service offered and the staff tonight completely went above and beyond. Thanks for making tonight special, guys!

You can never go wrong with some steak and lobster here! It’s freakin BOMB!
I usually go to the sizzler in LA with my boyfriend since he lives out there, but we came here since he was in my area.
So as usual, the only dish me and my bf order is the steak and lobster with root beer (their horchata is BOMB as well). I’d have to say this sizzler serves better garlic bread than the one we usually go to in LA.
Service is STUPENDOUS! Our server was Trisha and she’s just the sweetest! She has the cutest bubbly personality! When the food came out they also asked if the steak is cooked the way we like it. I love that! The other sizzler does not do that and let me tell you their steak is AMAZING! It’s so tender since we got Medium (so much better than the LA location). This definitely deserves 5 star for the service and food!

This Sizzler deserves a solid 4 stars. I’ve been here frequently over the last two years and I’ve found the food to be quite consistent. It isn’t the most interesting food and it definitely isn’t a refined dining experience, but the items on its menu are still good value.

— Restaurant is quite clean. Not super clean, but clean for an old establishment with old furniture. They could update the interior a bit.
— For a place that’s family-​oriented, the noise level is actually ok. I saw kids running around but they did not bother me. The demographics of the customers who come here are similar to those who frequent Hometown Buffet. Lots of families, lots of kids.
— Parking at this location can be a challenge. However, I’ve always been able to find a parking space at the lot here.
— Service is ok. Not fantastic, but ok. Wait staff is polite and attentive.

— Food portions vary. I’ve noticed a few times that their steak portion sizes seem smaller than expected. Also, they are stingy with the sides.
— The salad bar lacks variety. Indeed, they have the usual greens, carrots, beans, sliced melons, pineapples /​watermelon, three kinds of soup, fried chicken wings, spaghetti, taco meat and toppings, but … they don’t have chocolate pudding nor desserts. They do have soft-​serve ice cream from the machine, but it isn’t very good.
— Service seems rushed when our waitress is at our table. When she isn’t at our table, it seems to take a very long time to request for things, like a clean plate or more napkins.
— The general menu at Sizzler doesn’t seem to have changed in the last decade.
It would benefit the business to update their menu to stay current with the tastes of the local market.
— If you join their «e-​club», you don’t really get anything except for a coupon on your birthday. All the other emails you get are spam. No discount coupons.

I’ve been coming to this branch with my family since I was small and each time we go to this place, their servers are always friendly and nice. Whenever my family and I crave for steak and nothing too fancy, this is the place that we go to. I love their Salad Bar selection because you get more than just a salad bar, you get soup/​taco selections/​wings/​mac n cheese /​and desert which is great! I lived in Utah for about 18 months and have been to sizzlers up there and their salad bar is just pure salad selection and nothing compared to the salad bars here in this branch along side with the Sizzlers in Los Angeles.
I find it weird that, if you just want to eat from the salad bar it’ll be $ 12.49 but if you get rib lets with rice entrée and it’ll come with the salad bar for just $ 13.99. They have entrees that are the same price but do not come with the salad bar as well. Anyway, I always end up getting the same thing each time I go here and just eat from the salad bar and each time my food comes, I just get it to go and eat it on the next day. I also love their garlic bread. Its always yummy. Their ice cream is soooo yummy too especially if you combine it with their bread pudding. Just thinking about their ice cream makes me want to come back now… =\
Will I come back? of course. Without a doubt!
