Staybridge Suites Cincinnati North, Oh

Stayed one night in this hotel and it is very clean, the staff are friendly, and i will stay here again. There are TONS of restaurants and shopping areas nearby if that’s your thing. I stayed in a queen-​bed suite with a fully-​stocked kitchenette.

I don’t have much occasion to stay at hotels in southern Ohio, but when I do I will be staying here! The pool is open 24 hours! And it’s warm as heck! The room is carefully stocked with three of every dining item, as well as a toaster oven, stove top, and microwave. The room even has a dishwasher and garbage disposal. It’s nicer than my apartment. Breakfast was lame, although they do have waffles, and also the walls are dirty near the ceiling… but I hardly ever use that part of the wall.
Overall I get the impression that this is a place that takes their comment cards very seriously– they even slid a thank you note under our door when our hair dryer broke. It worked, I’m impressed.

Great breakfast, warm pool, clean rooms, good layout with kitchen and separate living/​bedrooms. Would definitely stay again.

This place was ideal for my family when visiting Cincinnati, Jungle Jim’s and Ikea. You really can’t go wrong with an ample kitchen and a toaster oven. They even had two gas grills out in the common area with loaner tools. Had I known this I would have grilled a lot more during our two night stay. The room we had was plenty big with no concerns for space or anything for the four of us. The breakfast was very good with a variable daily line up.
Looking at their little receptions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday made me wish I’d stayed on a weeknight for complimentary beverages and appetizers. There’s a Kroger grocery store and gas stations all very close to the hotel so everything you need is all pretty centralized. I don’t know about bars in the area, but guess what… you have a fridge and they sell beer in Ohio on Sunday.

With two kids, we always stay at suite type properties. This is our first time staying at a staybridge. We were not thrilled with this property. If we had been staying in the area more than 1 night, we would have found a different property for the rest of the stay. Somebody must have mismeasured when purchasing furniture for these rooms. When the sofa bed was open, it touched the dresser/​tv stand at the foot of the bed. You could not walk around the bed. You had to crawl over it to make the bed or get in/​out of bed. If one kid tried to get out of bed to go pee, he would wake up the other one by crawling over him. For one night was annoying, for more than one night it would be a deal breaker for us. The king size bed did not have a good mattress on it. Hubs and I both slept poorly and felt like had pressure points from the springs the next morning. The pool was not clean when we were there. They said it was open 24 hours so I have no idea when they shock it. By the looks of it, it didn’t happen often. The water was really cloudy in the main pool and the water in the hot tub was BROWN. We did not let our kids get in which caused lots of tears since they were ready to cool off after a long day. The breakfast in the morning was one of the worst we have had at all suite properties. The eggs were so rubbery they were unedible and the fruit was past its prime. Other chains with all suite properties do a much better job with breakfast than his property did. We will not be staying with another staybridge if at all prossible.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days around Christmas, and it was a very pleasant experience. The suite was clean and quite spacious with plenty of room for two adults and two medium-​sized dogs (and their crates and toys) to stretch out. Right down to housekeeping, the staff was extremely nice. And seriously, how many hotels take two dogs? A real find – I would stay again any time I was in the area.

This is a comfortable, reasonably priced hotel with a very service-​oriented staff, as well as a very nice pool/​jacuzzi and workout room.
