Liberty Urgent Care

I was very pleased with the service at this urgent care center. The greeting was professional, the paperwork was minimal. I did not have to wait too long to be seen. A nurse took my vitals and a pretty detailed health history. She also answered many of my questions and put me at ease. The health professional who saw me next was a physician assistant who was obviously very knowledgeable and competent. They spent a good deal of time with me and I never felt like I was being rushed along. I was there on a Saturday, and the next day, late afternoon, they called me with blood test results which a doctor discussed with me by phone. They forwarded their report and test results to my regular doctor so I could schedule a follow up.
They require a $ 150 deposit, pending the insurance company’s handling of the claim. They made it very clear it is a deposit, because apparently some insurance companies don’t treat an urgent care visit same as a scheduled doctor office visit so they are protecting themselves. Fortunately my insurance company did the right thing, and as soon as that was processed, Urgent Care refunded the difference straight to the card I used for the deposit.
Hope you stay healthy, but if you need some medical attention in a hurry, this is a good choice.
