Yo Luv It

Had an Acai bowl with cannoli fro yo!!! AMAZEBALLS!!! In love!!! Every bite was perfection & the girl advised me in advance that the cannoli fro yo may not be so great bcuz of the super berry flavoring that’s added but it was still to DIE FOR!

I just stopped here for the first time today and it is by far the cream of the crop when it comes to Frozen Yogurt! The place was clean, and the dispensers were behind the counter for the server to give you so there weren’t any kids putting their hands or mouth on it. The staff was nice, and prices were reasonable. Will definitely be looking to go again soon.

While living in NY, my wife was a full blown addict of Yo Luv It. I have to agree that their yogurt had a flavor unlike most any other yogurt shops we visited (and we have visited many.)

The frozen yogurt here was pretty good. The fruit I added on top was really fresh and didn’t taste old like it does at other frozen yogurt places. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. I ordered something very simple and the two people behind the counter were pretty unfriendly and a bit rude. They treated me as if I was bothering them/​interrupting their conversation. I would come back here again for the yogurt, but I hope there are different people behind the counter!

I don’t know what they do to make their yogurt so much better than everyone else’s but whatever it is, I’m so happy! It’s not a «make your own» so they’ve bucked the trend, but their prices are a bit lower too which is always good. I keep trying to find better yogurt to no avail. The only thing I don’t like about Yo Luv It is that there’s only one location!

Although the yogurt tasted good, I had a bad experience. I can’t have corn syrup aka high fructose corn syrup so I went to their website and saw it advertised ‘no high fructose corn syrup’ so I went there and before ordering asked. The younger girl didn’t know but got what looked like an older man that was the owner. He said we don’t use any kind of corn syrups in our products. So I happily ordered my smoothie and it was good! About an hour later I had a reaction to the yogurt that I’d usually have if they used corn syrup. I was totally confused. I checked the website and specifically the ingredients in the yogurt this time, and what do you know corn syrup was a major ingredient. Keep in mind right above that on the same page there’s a star that says ‘we don’t use corn syrup in our yogurts.’
So either they just didn’t know or they didn’t care. I will not be going back. If in fact they were lying what else could they be lying about also? They said all there yogurts are also gluten free, I’m betting that may also be false. If you have any dietary conditions I’d steel clear!

I luv it! Great fro yo and great toppings. They always change I there flavors which is great. The staff is nice and helpful. I usually prefer the self serve, but this place hits the spot every time.
My favorite is the regular with granola and strawberry.

Their frozen yogurt smoothies are very good. They use real fruit with the yogurt not syrup like some places. Definitely a nice spot to have a treat. Staff are always friendly as well. Flavor choices change periodically. This is not a self serve yogurt store. Place is well kept and clean. Will continue to go to this yogurt spot.

I came here after visiting the dollar store for Easter supplies. The place has a minorly weird smell when you enter it but that didn’t stop me from getting some Fro Yo. This place is a kick back to Fro Yo served behind the counter, not the wonderful new Fro Yo places where you choose whatever you want and pay for it by weight. Personally I prefer the self serve places because I like to add a lot of toppings to mine. When I order from the places that serve you I’m pretty much done with my toppings halfway through my yogurt and I just want some more!
The yogurt did taste great, apparently everything but the toppings here are fat free. Possibly sugar free.
The staff member serving behind the counter was nice too, the place was also very clean.
I didn’t notice any milk chocolate offerings, just dark chocolate offerings. Maybe I just didn’t see it there, but it would be nice to have milk chocolate options too if there aren’t any.
I think I’d come back here for a fro yo shake but probably not for regular fro yo.

This place has the BEST frozen yogurt! My husband and I bypass other fro-​yo places, that are closer to our home, to get Yo Luv It. It is always tasty, satisfying and fresh, and they make their own yogurt. Much better than the lever-​in-​the-​wall frozen yogurt shops.
UPDATE: ¼/​2016:
STILL THE BEST! I freakin’ love this stuff, and we still bypass at least 2 other fro-​yo shops to get it. They change up their flavors all the time, and they have a lot of great choices. Also of note, I have a very sensitive stomach and Yo Luv It never gives me trouble.

My family and I visit here at least once a week. The yogurt is delicious and the points card help defer the cost.
The peanut butter cup yogurt is by far the best!

I just love the yogurt here… and I mean REALLY love it. The consistency and the flavors are incredible. I honestly don’t know what they do to the yogurt to make it so good… and it is fat free! (yes, I do sit there and talk about the «fat free yogurt» episode of Seinfeld every time I eat it because I just can’t believe how good it is) I am so happy I spend a fair amount of time in Amityville so that I can frequent Yo Luv It.
It is reasonably priced. And the yogurt has «active yogurt cultures» so I at least feel like it is healthier than eating ice cream. The staff is always friendly.
Just as a quick comparison, it is nothing like Red Mango… which I can’t eat at all as it is way too tart for me. This is sweet yogurt.
They have a «points» card that is available… you hand it to them each time you make a purchase and they swipe it. When you get to a certain number of points, you get a $ 5 coupon… I’ve earned a few of them!
Constructive Criticism: for some reason, they don’t have cones there. And when you order a topping, they don’t put much on so I never bother to get a topping. If they acted on these two things, it would be a perfect place!

This was by far the worst smoothie and frap my husband and I ever had. The mocha chip frap tasted like pure chocolate, nothing like Starbucks. The strawberry mango smoothie tasted like yoplait, nothing more than straight yogurt. Smoothies should have fruit flavor. Not to mention they put like 5 pieces of fruit in the bottom of a large cup, no wonder its bland. Although the service was decent, not exceptional, id rather get a smoothie from McDonald’s or tropical smoothie for half the price and exceptional flavor. What a waste of $ 11.00.

I am a frozen yogurt addict and I must say that Yo Luv It is one of the better places I have ever been to. A great selection of toppings and a very tangy and flavorful yogurt that is a bit more substantial and filling in my opinion then Red Mango. The Egg Nog flavor during the holidays is amazing but their original flavor is very good and always available. Great taste, great value.

While shopping in the area I decided to stop in and grab a drink. I ended up with a cinnamon roll frozen yogury malted/​shake. They also threw in a bunch of fresh fruit, and I probably ordered too big of a size to be honest.
The drink was amazing, the owner/​staff was friendly and helpful and I would definitely go back.
My only tiny gripe was that the prices were a bit high. But it’s kind of to be expected due to the nature of the food/​drink. And it is a mom and pop shop and not a chain.

The Oreo cookie and cream cake was delicious and it’s low-​fat. I’ll definitely be coming back.

First, and foremost the customer service is very personable and greets with you a smile. I was fortunate to try a sample of the chocolate caramel and the banana from the two, banana is my favorite. It was smooth and very sweet. I wish them success and plan on being a frequent customer.
