Swirls & Twirls

Better than Red Mango IMO. Better flavor option and all you can fill cups for 4.99 $! (It may be a limited time promotion — not sure when it ends). All the usual toppings. The person behind me and their kids used the last of the whipped cream and asked for more and they were told that was it, no more. This is a froyo/​ice cream business, how do you run out of whipped cream?! No biggie to me but I was surprised.

They’re yogurt is blahhh! I’ve been here twice now, usually go to Menchie’s in Lindenhurst and will definitely stick to them over swirls and twirls.
Their yogurt barely has any flavor at all or leaves a weird, bad taste in your mouth. They also don’t change flavors that often, the two times I’ve been here it’s the same exact flavors, boring!!! Toppings are out in the open compared to being in closed containers which is not very pleasant since this is a very family, kid orientated shop.
The interior decorating is great though; very cute and bright fun. But as far as their products offered its not very satisfying. Menchies is definitely one of the best froyo shops around the Long Island area in my opinion, and sad to say I won’t be visiting swirls and twirls in the future.

I’m not sure why this place received 5 stars from other users, maybe it was better before I came to visit with my friend and her nephew. I’m actually upset I didn’t like the frozen yogurt here much because I purposely ate less lunch to make some room to try the fro yo. If I had known it wasn’t too good I would have eaten more at lunch and skipped this all together.
Basically swirls & twirls is part of the recent self serve fro yo craze. You walk in and pick a cup or a cone, fill it up, weigh it at the register and enjoy your fro yo.
A few awesome things about this swirls & twirls location. 1) 12 oz cups are pay one price for all you can put inside of it (no worries about what you are putting in your cup increasing the price). 2) Excellent toppings 3) cleanliness
One not so awesome thing is the flavor of the yogurt. I had three different flavors in my cup, chocolate, peanut butter and the caramel dolce de leche. The only flavor that had any taste to it was the caramel dolce de leche. The peanut butter flavor and chocolate flavor tasted like nothing.
My friend and her nephew didn’t really like their yogurt either. All three of us ended up throwing our cups in the trash before they were finished.
This is not a swirls & twirls I would go back to but I’m willing to try a few others I’ve seen on Long Island.

Cheaper and better than other yogurt spots. $ 4 for all the yogurt and toppings you want in a big cup. Awesome deal!
