Carvel has been a long standing tradition in our family ever since I was a little girl. Dad treats the family to the Wednesday sundae specials or like this past weekend Saturday night treats.
My sister and I both got these sundaes I’ve never tried before. I ordered the mint chocolate chip version. The cup is coated in hot fudge, sprinkled with cookie crumbles and filled with four or so scoops of mint chocolate chip ice cream and topped with a tower of whipped cream. Welcome to America land of the chubbies … it was so good I died and went to heaven. So good.
Today my work pants fit a little bit snug lol. Definitely an indulgence to enjoy sparingly but oh so worth it!

went to a carvel down the street in Lindenhurst and they accepted my card, coupon and the original price of the cake was lower than this place

Well… not all Carvels are created equally. This one is the best!!! You need to to get a ice cream bonnet, Ice cream cone then dipped in chocolate or cherry hard sauce. SOO good. They also have a special flavor soft serve everyday, or almost everyday: banana, pistachio, black raspberry… you can even order a cake ahead of time and pick your flavor of ice cream!
