Old Navy Clothing Store

I needed a denim jacket for my birthday (tomorrow ⁴⁄₂₁ aka the best day that has ever been a day in existence obviously, lol) and looked online. My first thought was Old Navy since I had a denim jacket from here many years ago (that disappeared in the black hole that is my wardrobe). Luckily I found some great choices online, and saw that the jacket I wanted was available in store. West Babylon is my local store so I headed there.
The jackets were front & center AAAAANNNDDD 30% off! Um. score?! The dressing rooms are toward the back so as I headed there I passed their clearance section and was forced (YES FORCED *glares*) to peruse. I found THEE most glorious short-​sleeved sweater-​material top and decided to buy it as well. The dressing room attendant was pleasant and friendly.
Bad part :(- went to the checkout only to find out the top «must’ve been placed in clearance accidentally» and I just couldn’t justify spending nearly $ 25 on a top when I came for just the jacket, so I had to leave it *sniffle*. This is my reason for 3 stars. This location is convenient and unlike the other reviewers I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the employees; however, when it comes to their clearance aisle this issue has happened more than once. Oftentimes something I find (AND FRIGGIN FALL IN LOVE WITH) is not, in fact, a clearance item. I would like to see this location focus more on cleaning up the aisles and making sure that items are placed appropriately. and stop breaking my heart!

I’ve been to this Old Navy a few different times. The quality of their clothing ranges, sometimes it’s cheap and flimsy other times it’s very nice. This pretty much goes for all Old Navys. This store has a nice selection, I always end up trying on so much and wanting to walk out of the store with a lot of things if I had a good day trying on clothes and a lot seems to fit nicely. The prices always seem to be good, especially if you hit the clearance rack. Even if I spent some money here and spending money to me means $ 100 to $ 300 even though that’s barely nothing with inflation I’ve always walked out with a lot. This is a very big Old Navy, it’s one floor but there’s still a nice selection of accessories and clothes.

This location is definitely not my favorite simply for the customer service. I called on a Sunday and was told they closed at 8pm by the associate on the phone. I arrived at 7pm and as worker saw me heading in, he quickly went to the doors, locked it and told me through the glass that they were closed. It was annoying being given wrong information and then going out of my way to get there for nothing.
