For all my gluten free and non gluten free people, this place is amazing. The gluten free pie was one of my favorite gluten free pizzas Ive ever had. It was crunchy but still so yummy. If you have any questions about any of they’re specialty pizzas, they’re staff is awesome and will answer anything which is what made my visit 10x better. When I visited the manager Val explained how they handle all gluten free products and actually went to the back and told me what was in the flour. She walked me through the process all the way down till my pizza was in the oven. She was sweet and checked up on us even after I sat with my pizza. My husband got the regular pizza dough and loaded on every type of meat possible and a bunch of veggies and the best part is that they don’t charge for extra toppings. All in all, a great pizza place, with great staff.

I am a pizza snob, and let’s face it this is not New York style pizza. Once you can accept that fact, then you can have an OK experience. The pizza itself is kind of bland. I guess it’s cool that it cooks in like 3 minutes and you can put whatever toppings you want on it. I mean it’s not bad food it’s just not what I consider Pizza. I did give it three stars rather than 2 because a really tasty drinks and a s’mores dessert that was warm and gooey and out of this world. I have gone back just for the s’mores.

The pizza was fast, fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. The men’s room sink was out of order. this is inexcusable for any restaurant. Come on now, call a plumber and get it fixed yesterday. I’m upgrading due to a quick response to my previous review. Although the response came from the corporate office and not this specific location, Blaze did show concern about the issue.

Everyone hyped this place up to be a great place to get pizza with your very own style to it. I thought the crust tasted somewhat dry and stale. The sauce was also not a typical sauce made for pizza too. The ingredients were kind of a disappointment as well with the freshness. Don’t get me wrong the food was okay, but it wouldn’t be placed high on the list of great places to get a fresh pizza.

Great pizza! Fun and friendly staff. The employees were really accommodating with my gluten free diet and went the extra mile to make my pizza perfect! Will come again.

My son was crazy about the pizza here, after he insisted that I must try, I did. It was not as amazing as he said in my tasty perception of a great pizza. It was just fine. Wide variety of toppings with a regular crust on a personal small size pizza. Just average if you ask me.

Ok I love this place. The chain is an awesome one. Just getting home, no time to cook & tired of leftovers. I mix it up all the time. Tonight I got Pepperoni, Sausage, Sautéed Onions, Mushrooms, Green Peppers, Black Olives(That makes it HEALTHYPIZZA right?!), Mozzarella, Parmesan & Goat Cheese. And after its cooked… Throw some cold cheese on that baby please! Home Run once again! I added the extra stars because my first review I kinda was comparing it to regular pizza places. Sooooo this review is basing it on Chain Restaurant foods. Aces across the board for Blaze! 1-20-2016

Been here a handful of times, and now has become a go-to spot for a quick yummy bite. I think of it as the«chipotle of pizza». Pick your toppings for your own med sized brick fired pizza. Takes prob 5 – 7 minutes total(great concept). They also offer a gluten free crust(which I always get) and they are very particular when handling crust for an allergy/diet choice. They change gloves and all if need be. There are certain pre-determined pizza choices if you want, but then you can also build your own and put as many toppings as you like and also choose from 3 types of sauces. Can also get a s’mores pie for dessert, or even a beer/glass of wine ;) Haven’t been disappointed yet– keep it up Blaze!

As a first time experience I must say I am extremely impressed. This location is clean and spacious with adequate seating. I chose the Build Your Own option for $ 7.95 with my choice of unlimited toppings — yum! I chose a pie with classic red sauce, fresh & shredded mozzarella, spinach, zucchini, green peppers, cherry tomatoes, grilled chicken, Italian meatballs & Italian sausage — lol yes. It was delicious! The ingredients are very fresh, and the meats are very flavorful! The manager or owner perhaps of the location was very patient and he even came around asking how everything was; taking trash out for anyone who was done, it was so hospitable I would’ve thought I was in a diner! The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the middle of the pizza was pretty soggy, I wish I asked them to cook it a bit longer; however, other than that I really recommend this place and plan on going back as soon as possible!

I love a nice Italian pizza pie. Heck if I were not Blk and Puerto Rican I would want to be Italian next. Anyway I was introduced to this west coast hipster pizza spot by a fellow Unilocaler. These people make the best non traditional pizza around in my opinion. Better than California Pizza Kitchen. I get the meat lovers with some added gastronomic delectables. I get sausage, pepperoni, minced garlic, whole roasted garlic cloves, goat cheese, mozzarella cheese, red onions, and there red sauce. I’m drooling just writing about this LOLOLOL. The crust is so thin and perfect that it after you get the crunch it melts in your mouth. You can get whatever made to order pizza you want. All said and done this is a home run any night of the week

Always the way I want — always delicious… Hard to say much more. Great with a group when everyone wants something different. In 3 minutes everyone had a custom made pizza. What could be better?

Ventured into Blaze with my girlfriend and her sister on a low key Friday night. As someone who has run just about every aspect of a «fast casual/quick service» restaurant, I enter establishments such as this with much different perspective(so I think, at least) First and foremost, the people within the restaurant are great. The woman at the begging of the line not only asked for our order with a smile, but was enthusiastic about explaining the new experience to us. After taking our order and passing us down the line, it was a perk in my eyes, that you can have as many toppings(including meats) as your heart desires. I had two different types of meatballs, Italian sausage and pepperoni. Not only did the pizza makers stuff my pie with toppings, they did so in a way that was pleasing to the eye. So much so to the point that my girlfriend stated«this looks as if we were at a significantly more expensive restaurant». This in my eyes is the key to a quality QSR, Chipotle being a perfect example. The one issue I do have is the«finishing process». It is the only time you truly feel like your waiting around(while the pizza is cooking). Additionally my girlfriend and her sisters pizzas both came out before mine did, as a to-go order was taken care of in between. Bonus points for serving beer, wine and the Blood Orange Lemonade. Would be a bit worried to come here for lunch just do to time, but will be back again for dinner. Look forward to one opening up a bit closer to my neck of the woods

Went here with a couple friends on a Friday night when the wait at Red Robin was crazy long. It reminds me more of Subway than Chipotle. When this cute boy behind the counter asked if I wanted salt or oregano on my pizza I figured salt = flavor, why not? Wish I had been thinking in terms of fast food. My green striped pizza was overly salty. All three of my friends ordered the red striped pizza. I ended up trading some of my slices for theirs. The red striped was more my style. I do prefer regular old pizza to this but it’s a fun concept where you can pick your own toppings and create whatever you’d like. Although its more of a fast food place someone did walk around to ask us how our food was. It was nice. Needs more comfortable seating though.

I came here with coupons for a free pizza and smores pie. It’s basically a Subway /Chipotle for small personal thin gourmet pizzas. You can build your own, and its quickly fired and made fresh right there in front of you. Everything was delicious and the ingredients seemed fresh. I got a salad as well which was very good. The smores pie wasn’t what I expected, and just — it was basically a whoopie pie made with graham cracker cookie sandwich filled with chocolate and marshmallow in the center, warmed. It seemed a little dry. They also have a nice little beer selection, and some of those 187ml wine choices. Oh and the prices are great! Less than $ 8 for a pizza. I can’t wait to go back and try other pizza combinations.

OMG! For those who are friends with me on Unilocal you know that pizza is my all time favorite food to eat. Blaze pizza is like a subways for pizza. You choose how you want you pizza made and they make it right in front of you. It was my first time and I tired the mushroom pizza. Ingredients tasted very fresh. The pizza sauce was not sweet which I really loved because I really dislike sweet sauce. The crust was thin but not brunt Which is hard to perfect. Customer service was amazing! I truly love everything about this place and can not wait to come back again.

Visit Date: September 30, 2014 I had the opportunity to eat at Blaze Pizza during a Unilocal event. The staff was awesome, they were very friendly, very accommodating and really nice. The atmosphere of the Blaze restaurant was similar to a chitpotle, the premises were very clean, crisp and minimally decorative. Blaze is similar to chitpotle except they make fast brick oven fired pizza instead of burritos, quesadillas and salads. Basically you can get one of the pizzas already created by the staff or you can build your own pizza. Hubby and I opted to build our own. My pizza was just okay, I wouldn’t say it was terrible, but it wasn’t great either. The sauce could have used a little more seasoning, I felt like if I didn’t add sea salt and oregano to my pizza it might have lacked flavoring. I also tried the s’more’s pie for dessert which I didn’t really like. The marshmallow and chocolate were fine but the graham cracker used for the pie crumbled in my mouth and didn’t really have a taste to it. I would recommend coming here if you’d like a quick meal, but if you’re a pizza afficiando I would say Alitalia which is in the same shopping center is you’re best bet.

Really really impressed with this new pizza restaurant. If you’re thinking of a typical Long Island 8 slice pizza, guess again chum! This is blazing fast cooked pizza your way.(Hence the name blaze fast) If you’re familiar with NJ style pizza, the pizza here is similar. The crust is thin and you’ll yield about 6 slices. However, what’s small makes up for taste. All the ingredients are locally sourced and fresh. *ALSO* There is a drink fountain that has Blood Orange Lemonaid that is soooo good, its worth the trip to come here. The price point isn’t too expensive, its about $ 8 bucks which is great for this quality of pizza. Think about it, a regular«Long Island» 8 slice pizza is so one note. The pizza being created at Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza can be made any way you want with no crazy upcharges. Kids don’t like meats on pizza? Get them a cheese pizza for and funk out on your pizza! The combinations are endless. Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza, welcome to Long Island!

Don’t be scared by the long line that you are likely to encounter on your visit here. It moves fairly quickly*, and there is plenty of seating to accommodate you and whomever you are dining with. As others have stated, this is Chipotle, but with pizza. And more toppings. There are menus as you start to get on line, so you can have a rough idea of what you’ll want to order. But, when you get to the front of the line and you actually SEE all of the offerings, you’re liable to change your mind or just to at least add more toppings. I went with: spicy red sauce, mozzarella, parmesean, chopped garlic, pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, basil, spinach and oregano. If you want a bit of advice, I would try your pizza with crazy toppings and not«ordinary» toppings that you can get at any pizza place within a stone’s throw. I will definitely be back, nice thin pizza, crispy and filling. For two«create your own» and a fountain drink, the tab was just under $ 19. If you get a plain cheese/sauce pizza, it’s under the $ 6 mark. I mean, it might be tough competition because Long Island has no shortage of pizza places — but this place is different. It’s fun, tastes good and is reasonably priced. And it allows you to dream up combinations that you won’t find at your local pizza joint. Beverage selection are okay(refill to your heart’s desire), was sad that they were out of iced tea so I decided to go for half blood orange lemonade and half selter to cut the sweetness. I’d say check it out — I like the concept and I liked my pizza creation… a lot! I will say one negative is that it gets VERY loud in there. *fairly quickly is a relative term. Hopefully you’re with good company.
