Food is nasty. The people who go there are drunks. The entire building smells like cat pee. This building should be moved into Reading. Would fit in much better there. Oh to the younger large bartender with her stomach hanging out of her shirt. Get your customers drinks before you finish your own food right at the bar. Pigs!!!

The building is very run down. By the parking lot entry there were mattresses, a lawn mower, and broken down appliances. The rest room toilet seat was broken. The décor is dated and dusty. The place smalls like a dive bar. Right off the bat I was looking for Gordon Ramsey. I had a salad and the lettuce was not properly cleaned. The dark outer leaves were included instead of being discarded. Browned ribs were left in, and specks of mushy black leaves were interspersed in the salad. The salad was supposed to be Caesar, but it tasted like a bottled vinegar dressing, very sour. Pre-grated cheese and Sysco croutons. I had salmon as an entrée. The cucumber-dill sauce was bland and did not taste fresh. The salmon was ok, but was bland, overcooked and full of pin bones. The vegetable medley was cooked to a mushy texture. Home fried potatoes were nicely browned, but soft and mushy, not crisp on the edges as they should be. They offer many desserts. I had coconut scoop cake. It was ok, but nothing special. Table water here is right from the tap. No filter, and very strong of chlorine. Looks like they make their business on the bar, but no one was there the day I was in town. It smelled very strong of stale beer, not clean. This place could be a gold mine with a solid makeover. It’s got a lot of charm under the current sad, broken down situation.

I recently dined here for the Thursday night $ 15.50 prime rib special, with drink purchase. Service was good, my Caesar salad and baked potato was good. My prime rib, although tasty, was definitely a SECONDCUT. It was approximately 50% fat. It could have been worse, by paying the regular price for this” disastrous” dish. I did have a chance to look over the menu, and for the atmosphere and environment, it is somewhat overpriced.

Dirty, filthy joint with a welfare hotel upstairs. While we were there, the police came to pick up one of the lodgers. I would be afraid to walk into the kitchen, the place is a dive. The food was NOT terrible, and if they cleaned the place up it could be a real gem. I would love for them to be a real success. As it stands now, I think the Board of Health should shut it down.

Wow. Food was great. I had a dish called Chicken Michelle. Chicken, shrimp, scallops, and crab meat in a puff pastry. It also had hollandaise sauce. My boyfriend had a huge piece of prime rib. He said it was very tasty Building is old, but looks good inside. We will definitely go back.
