I went to the bottom bar a couple of weeks ago and had the wings. They were some of the better wings I have had in this area. Bar is rough looking but the food was great. Bartender was nice.

This place is really showing some wear. I have been here many times before and its always been pretty good– not so much anymore! I had dinner here on a Thursday night and it was unfortunate. We sat on the deck which used to be nice, but is now shabby and piled up with tarps and overgrown plants. The outside bar seems to be completely useless now, as it was covered in sap from the tree growing out of it and just had piles of empty boxes and trash stacked behind it. The server was nice but had to come back twice because she didn’t know what drink I ordered. It was on the menu but she said she never heard of it. The food was not tasty at all– the potato skins had clearly been fried in oil that hasn’t been changed since Jesus walked the earth. They were covered in a tasteless cheese sauce I’m sure was Cheeze whiz’s sad cheaper cousin in a #10 can. The buffalo chicken wrap was also disappointing. Spicy yes– flavorful no! My companion pointed out that the kitchen staff had all filed out of the door and sat smoking on the deck 2 tables away — clearly they were not concerned with work– or what came out of their kitchen. Our bill for 2 drinks, 2 beers, an ap, and 2 sandwiches was more than 60 $$. Save your money and your time and don’t bother with Reinholds anymore.

The building is historic and very old. On the first floor is the bar area, which is nothing special, and the second floor is the dining room, which is beautifully decorated. If you’re a fan of the Victorian Period you’ll love this room. They also have a really nice outdoor deck area. It was over 90 degrees the day we went, so we sat inside. I have to say that inside wasn’t much better than out. Even though we sat literally 3 feet from the window unit air conditioner it was uncomfortable in the dining room. Service was very slow, and we were the only people in the dining room, but our server was very pleasant and had no problem with my vegan requests. I think he may have been working on the deck as well as the second floor dining room, so that might explain the slow service. The food was very good. My friend had a burger and said it was excellent. The menu has a lot of choices, from salads to some entrees that sounded great, however, they need more meatless alternatives. I gave it 3 stars because it definitely deserves another visit before I decide if it’s a place I’ll go to regularly.
