A very clean establishment, with a terrific owner. We really enjoyed our stay. I erroneously thought it was on the beach, which it isn’t, but it is a short driving distance to many beaches and central to a lot of day trip locations. Very close to Ogunquit and Kennebunk, but reasonably close to the lakes region and the northern«finger islands.» The rooms have individual air conditioning and ours had one of the most comfortable beds away from home I’ve ever had(I usually get back-aches from beds that are not mine — not with this one), plus a very very clean bathroom with complementary soap, shampoo, and body lotion. There is Wifi, a flat screen TV and an extensive collection of CDs one can borrow. The Inn itself is pleasantly bright, airy and meticulously kept, inside and out. Last, but not least Son, the owner, is a delightful hostess. She has a in depth knowledge of the area and can provide suggestions and recommendations on the area. She so easy to talk to, and always with a smile on her face. Her hearty breakfasts(every day a different one) will pleasantly fill you to get your day started.

This place is fantastic! After the debacle of the Garrison hotel(1 of 5 stars) this was a find. A friend of mine had stayed at The Emlere House a week before and had raved about the wonderful accomodations and the owners. Now I have stayed at a few B&B’s and have had some decent experiences, and some sketch ones(Grandma LEAVEMEALONE) this is one of the best. We called from our disaster hotel and prayed they had availability, they did. 2 rooms featuring a king or queen bed. We stopped by took a look and signed up for the Queen(Thompson Lake Room.) The rooms are very cute and are themed after lakes in Maine(the owners used to live on Sebago lake so they are near and dear to them). We dropped off our stuff and Son Mi(One of the 2 owners) signed us in. She was extremely helpful and really knew the area suggesting multiple places to check out in the Wells and Ogunquit area. We explored had a great time and passed out. We woke up the next morning, headed downstairs, and she asked us if we would like omelettes. The food was great, as was the company. She sat down and we chatted for a while about how they had arrived at owning the business. On the 2nd day we were a bit late for breakfast(served from 7:30 — 9:30) We felt bad so we were going to just leave but, she was awesome and handed us a bag of fruit to take with us on our travels. We will 100% be coming back, the rates were more than reasonable and again factoring in breakfast, a downright bargain! Visit with Brian and Son Mi and have a great worry free weekend in Maine.
