Haven By The Sea

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights this past weekend on a quick beach vacation. It is a great little bed and breakfast in an otherwise hotel and motel-​dominated area. The location is wonderful. The B & B (which is a converted church) is located in a residential area, only about a 2 minute walk to Wells Beach. It is quiet and relaxing. There is a nice front porch with rockers and a beautiful back porch with a small garden. The owners, Susan and John, are extremely friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and help you make dinner reservations and other arrangements. Breakfast is good (though not the fanciest I’ve had at a B & B), and it is always served quickly. When it is nice weather, breakfast is out on the back porch, which is lovely. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Haven by the Sea and look forward to returning sometime in the future.
