The loveliest B&B I’ve had the good fortune to ever stay in, this Federal style farmhouse has been lovingly restored with exquisite antiques and period art. Breakfast is full and fabulous.(Vegetable crepes with homemade chive oil dressing, hash browns and bacon, with scones on the side my first morning!) Innkeepers Brian and Janine take special care in accommodating special dietary needs, as well. Most important of all, the family welcomes all visitors with genuine warmth and caring — always happy to help and never intrusive. I recommend Beach Farm Inn to families, friends and solo visitors alike! Great value, especially when I consider happy surprises like free tickets for Finestkind Cruises I found tucked inside the cruise brochure.(The 2-hour lighthouse cruise generally costs $ 28/person.) The guest pantry holds a great assortment of literature about the area, including trail guides, and guests can use the refrigerator to store snacks. Beds are new and great to sleep on, and everything is sparkling clean. Ceiling fans and cross ventilation cool the 2nd floor bedrooms, and the 3rd floor bedrooms have window air conditioners. The downstairs library and parlor are sumptuous and intimate. At night, sit on the back deck in cushioned chairs and watch the light dance off the pool. Or sit on the front porch in the rocking chairs. Much quieter than most lodging in the region, and sleeping with a pair of earplugs reduces intermittent traffic noise to a whisper. It’s a relaxing 15 minute walk down a residential street with Cape architecture to the shoreline and Wells Beach Lobster Pound. Can’t wait to come back!

My fiancé and I stayed at this fabulous and very personal b & b for three nights this past September. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home in their cottage. Their outside fire was so nice and the breakfast was very tasty! Thanks for treating us like family!

I recently toured the Inn since the new owners have taken over and was so impressed! They have given an already beautiful property a fresh new look and added a light and cheerful style to the rooms. The new firepit and patio groupings are very comfortable. This would be a great place for a weekend getaway, a family reunion week, or any kind of celebration. It is a perfect setting for a wedding!

I can’t say enough good things about this Bed and Breakfast. I was taking my daughter to college in Vermont, and wanted to have an adventure beforehand. One of my «bucket list» items was to have a real Maine lobster, so I searched for a likely place to spend a couple nights before I had to leave my daughter at school. What a great choice! My daughter and I shared the 3rd floor room 8 which is the only one with two beds. The room is quite small and cozy, and just perfect for the two of us. The bathroom was across the hall, but we didn’t care about that. We had the lovely sea breeze wafting on our window, and the weather was perfect. Breakfast was marvelous! Nan is a lovely lady, and visited all her guests while keeping the coffee flowing and serving up delicious food. The waffles on Sunday morning were the best I have ever had. Her husband made them from scratch, and covered them with a compote of fresh peaches and fresh Maine blueberries. Wonderful! I am so glad we stayed there! It made some very special memories for my daughter and me.

I’m surprised to be the first to review this beautiful and cozy B&B in Wells, ME. The property is absolutely lovely, with a beautiful painted barn in the back and beautiful New England furniture throughout. We stayed in Room 3 on the 2nd floor Plus: Bathroom in the room, unlike some of the other rooms that had private bathrooms, but had to run across the hall to access it. Large room and bathroom Downsides: Very bright, very early in the morning. The curtains couldn’t be pulled down so I resorted to eye masks. Also, the floors of a house as old as this are understandably creaky so expect noise from upstairs. For $ 150 a night(the larger rooms — the smaller rooms are less) including a great breakfast in the morning, this was a great stay. Only caveat is that it’s a good 10 – 15 min away from the 1, so on a holiday weekend, that can eat up a bit of time. Enjoy!
