Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and coffee– it was good but, nothing spectacular.

Doggie theme is too cute. The Fetch, Wiggle and Barker are sandwich names. Delicious, simple, fresh. Friendly staff. Primarily breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Order at counter and eat on the patio with your pet or take to go. Some of the best iced coffee I’ve had– try the tropical coconut. And try a wild Maine blueberry muffin.

This place gets 5 stars for being dog friendly(patio only) and 3 stars for food/coffee, which leads me to a 4-star rating. You can sit with your dog out on the patio, where there are about 6 – 8 tables. I went on a Saturday morning around 9am and it was busy but not packed. They have«dog hitch» hooks that you can thread a leash through to secure your pup, which is great! And the staff come by and give all-natural treats to the dogs. These two details are what separates it from any old café that simply allows dogs to sit outside(which many in Maine do). Note that dogs aren’t allowed inside and that’s where you need to order, so if you’re on your own, you’ll need to tie your dog up outside(or leave him/her in the car) while you order. You’ll order inside, and they’ll give you a little plastic pup cut out with a name like«Ace» or «Sparky». Then the waitstaff will deliver your food to you outside by calling out the pup name. I had the«Fetch» breakfast sandwich, which includes egg, pepper jack cheese, and roasted red pepper on an English muffin, and coconut coffee. I also got a blueberry muffin for the road. Everything was pretty good but not great. Satisfying but not something I’d necessarily go back for. My dog, on the other hand, would like to note that the all-natural treats were quite delicious and worth another visit…

Such a great place to have breakfast/lunch and bring your pup! As soon as we walked up, a worker came outside to give our pup a natural treat. The pastries and breakfast sandwiches are awesome! And it is so close to the beach. This is honestly the first restaurant we’ve gone to that is like almost dedicated to the fact that they allow dogs on the patio. I love it! Thanks for a great breakfast and treating our dog with love, Rollover!

Stopped by for a a snack after a nice long walk. Exceptional service, they were so friendly and accommodating. My Mom ordered a Wild Blueberry muffin that she couldn’t stop oohing and awing over. I got the Lemon Blueberry Poppyseed muffin which was delicious and an iced pistachio coffee. We had been driving to Dunkin the last few days for our coffee and now I am seriously wondering why. Coffee was outstanding, will definitely be going back for more. We brought back a cinnamon roll for my husband and he was delighted with it as well. So glad we are staying so close to this gem!

Good grilled cheese. Strange tasting pistachio muffin. Not much else to say. Didn’t note the friendliness that others mentioned, but maybe they were having an off day? Maybe I should have come for breakfast instead of lunch and had the coffee… AOK but lets not get carried away…

I was visiting Wells with my boyfriend, and because we frequented this place 3 times a day, I thought a review was deserved. They nail iced coffee here. There are several flavored to chose from, including pistachio and French vanilla. They have an assortment of muffins, which they claim to bake every morning. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to buy breakfast or lunch, but they serve both. We loved the iced coffee so much we kept on going back! I work in Boston coffee shop/bakery and so I’m a little picky. This hit the spot! Friendly staff, too.

The food, service and people are awesome, and they are pet friendly. Fresh ingredients, creative wraps and sandwiches make this the place to stop for breakfast or lunch. The muffins and cookies are great also. If you’re near Wells Beach do yourself a favor and stop in.

My sandwich was great– a bit small, but great. Unfortunately, seeing a large open bag of potato chips and pickles on the sandwich counter– I expected a small handful of chips and more than a single slice(1″ round) of pickle. No chips, quarter sized piece of pickle, no thanks. For almost $ 9 for a sandwich I shouldn’t leave planning where to stop for another meal.

We ate here with our two dogs, here’s what we loved: Great food, good vegetarian options, and the BEST gelato ever(OMG), all reasonably priced. They brought our dogs water and homemade dog biscuits(on the covered, outdoor patio) – plus there was a nifty leash«hitching post“where we could tie our dogs so they were comfortable but out of the fray, beside us. Short walk to beach.

Great place for a quick breakfast by the beach! The Cuban toast was awesome! My husband loved his breakfast wrap. The sandwich menu looked good but we didn’t make it back for lunch. Definitely next time! So glad we found this place!

This is a gem that seems to be relatively undiscovered. We live nearby and go there for coffee, pastries, and sometimes lunch items like panini, or lobster rolls. The food is excellent(and that’s not hyperbole). All the people who work there are friendly and conscientious. My son got a lobster roll there today and judged it to be maybe the best he ever had for freshness, taste, quantity and value. We, and all our neighbors who have discovered it, think it is just a great place for a qualty breakfast or lunch.

Unassuming exterior, masks a gem of café. The gelato and sorbetto is out of this world — sampled the chocolate noir and strawberry. Both were transporting. The chicken sandwich with avocado and raisins the best. The lobster rolls are prepared as they should be with the focus on the lobster and just a touch of mayo. Beats the usual deep fried beach fare by a mile. Expresso is good for the beach but keeps this review from an outright 5. Service is friendly, genuine, and down to earth. Go often.
