Garlic knots were awesome. Pizza was very greasy, and not as good the next day. Wings were crispy, basic wing sauce but not bad. Only had take-out, didn’t get a chance to eat inside so I can’t say on how the eat-in food is in comparison.

This is definitely the best place to eat in this small town. The food was pretty good, service was slow, but for the small town it was one of the only options.

Visited this restaurant for lunch with my wife and another couple after hiking the gorge earlier in the day. Our friends shared a tasty pizza with 3 toppings, while my wife had the lasagna and I had a delicious and well seasoned stuffed pepper. All the food was well prepared and satisfying. Server/service was attentive. Docking(reluctantly, because the food was really good) one star because the food was really quite slow to arrive, even though I’m sure it was prepared to order. I would still visit here again if in the area; the above is simply useful intel if you do choose to patronize

We had wonderful lunch today at this place. Good friendly people work there. They accommodated us for late lunch, and let us order from dinner menu entrees. The food was tasty and plenty of it. We would return if we didn’t have to leave the area tomorrow :)

My cousin and I stayed in Watkins Glen and happened to stop in this Restaurant Fri night because we were hungry. It was very noisy so we walked out. On Sat we decided to give the restaurant another chance because we were craving Italian and it smelled good and got good ratings. What a mistake! We waited about 20 min once we were seated before anyone acknowledged us. And another party that got seated after us got waited on before we did. I wanted to walk out, but my cousin wanted to give it a try. The salad I got was horrible, and my cousin didn’t get what she even ordered. My Ziti had way too much cheese on it. I would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant! Very disappointing ! Horrible atmosphere, food and service!

Everything here was awesome. Exactly what we needed after a long hike through the state park. Had the Caesar salad, Hawaiian Pizza and cheesy bread that came with the meal. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. Inside was decorate well too.

After hiking through Watkins Glen State Park, taking in a boat cruise, and strolling through the town in the rain, we stopped in here for dinner. The Unilocal Check-In discount helped draw us in. Nice family restaurant atmosphere. The menu offered sufficient choices for the family to choose from. Our server, K__, did a fantastic job with her brisk but courteous service. She was on point and attentive. We ordered the calamari for a starter. Very fresh tasting. The breading was not like the light panko-style batter we were accustomed to, but it was fine. Side salads that came with our entrees were simple but sufficient with the mixed greens and olives. Alongside the cheesy garlic bread, it was starting to fill us up! When we saw our entrees, we were overwhelmed by the generous servings. We had the linguine with seafood in red sauce(all the shellfish was shelled and the sauce was light); tortellini filled with meat(a little bland but we had enough for three people to share); and then two in our party shared the baked mushroom ravioli(most restaurants give you six ravioli… here, we received at least nine or ten! and the loved that they could taste the mushroom). Needless to say we left no room for dessert but left sated and pleased.

Finally visited here again in summer 2015. Service was great except for a 15 minute wait for the check. Food was nothing special, appetizer had freezer burn, but we had a lunch special recommended by our waitress and the price was outstanding. Nice ambiance with the new expansion. Updating to 3 stars. Updating to 4 stars January 2016. Very good experience — food was better, especially the toasted ravioli.

Jerlando’s came highly recommended to us. The restaurant looked very nice inside and the service was excellent. We ordered a couple pasta dishes that were delicious, but had to take them home as we also ordred the garlic knots which were out of this world and if I could would eat them for every meal the rest of my life. Do yourself and get the knots!

Ok. GARLICKNOTS! ! We were visiting from California and racing at Watkins Glen. After a long day at the track we needed a great place to eat! This is it! We had pizza, garlic knots, calamari, pasta, drinks the whole 9 yards. Everything was so amazing that we took the team back the next night. Service was excellent and we got seated fairly quickly for a large party with no reservations BOTHNIGHTS. If you have the chance give this place a try! ANDGETTHEGARLICKNOTS!

Wonderful food! People in my party had many various types of food from a bacon and blue cheese burger to cheese fries to veal Parmesan to the seafood trio to melt in your mouth cheesy garlic bread, and all of them were really wonderful! Very pleasantly surprised!

Upon entering Jerlando’s Ristorante and Pizza Co. Watkins Glen, Ny, a large party of approximately 10 were leaving and one of the men stated«I wouldn’t go in there.» My husband and I thought he was joking, and we continued to the hostess podium. Tina, soon to be our waitress, looked upset and said«I am glad you did not listen to him». Apparently, that group had entered the restaurant, were not immediately seated, became impatient, and left without being served. My husband and I were immediately seated. The restaurant was busy, but seemed to be under control. Some were eating, some were waiting for their orders, and some were finishing. We each ordered a beer on tap and ordered our burgers. Cheeseburger with blue cheese and chips for me, my husband, the bacon and blue burger with fries. They arrived in good time and we enjoyed. I would return here if I was in town. The food was hot, tasty and fresh. The restroom was clean. The staff was pleasant. I would go in there.

We ate here as a late lunch after hiking the Glen. My wife and I both had bacon blue cheese hamburger and a beer. Both were excellent. Tina, our waitress was very friendly, and gave us quick friendly service. Restaurant is a quaint, Italian venue, with a full service bar in the center of the restaurant. We will definitely be back if we come by the Watkins Glen area again.

Friendly service and nice ambiance but merely decent food. About same quality as Olive Garden. Still, it is a great place for large groups as long as you don’t expect to get great gourmet Italian food.

The closest you’ll get to Italy in upstate ny. I grew up here and this is the best pizza you can get in the area. The buffalo chicken pizza is always a good staple. Garlic knots are the best I have ever had ANYWHERE in the world. Always love the extra crispiness on the outside and the doughiness inside… and that garlic butter sauce is something that can never be competed against. All their dishes are good, from the salads to the dessert. The food is always fresh. If you go to the back takeout place, their calzones and their buffalo chicken sub(mmm) are always great.

Food was well portioned and tasted great. Can tell it’s all house made fresh. Food was hot and was brought out in a timely manner. The dining room was very clean and quiet. The servers were knowledgeable and friendly. Has a small trouble with the Unilocal coupon but all in all was a good experience.

2 slices and a drink for $ 3.99 = Affordable! However, I’m not a big fan of soft dough… I prefer a crunch with each bite. They reheated the slice but it was still soft. It may be their way of pizza, and if so, they’re doing it right! If it was done like that because we received the last 2 pieces, then they were definitely ready to be done for the night. I would rather more friendly service and soft dough than the annoyed service we received. Not sure I would recommend this place but it didn’t seem there were many other options out this way.

There’s one thing I don’t really have much of close to where I live in Austin: good homemade Italian food. There’s fancy Italian that’s more geared towards date night, and there’s pizza joints geared towards college kids, and there one – one! – Greek/Italian combo joint that fits the«these are probably recipes from somebody’s grandma» dive-Italian lasagna need satisfier. We’re going to be in New York? There are Italians! Actual Italians! Not just hipsters with noodles! I need Italian fooooood. First off, we got distracted because it’s Watkins Glen. Someone parked a Datsun Roadster across the street in absolutely mint condition. I know that’s not part of the restaurant, and I don’t care. Consider it a bonus. The drive down from the track to here for lunch wasn’t bad, either, so if you’ve got a long break/your car broke/day’s over/whatever, go for it. I ate so much food. So. Much. Food. We went in the front half for lunch, and ordered the garlic knots per everyone’s recommendation. Yes. I recommend the garlic knots. Buttery, garlicky win. I mean, they come out swimming in more butter. Doing it right. Food comes with garlic cheese bread, anyway. It is also delicious. You will need a carb nap afterwards. The pasta was good. This isn’t the fine dining interpretation of Italian cuisine I get all too often at home. It’s Italian food, and my lasagna was comparable to the one my mom’s best friend from college made when I stayed with her for the best Thanksgiving ever.(Yeah, I don’t eat turkey, and I love lasagna. Come at me bro.) A+, would nom again, and I need to come back up here to drive stuff anyway. Perfect little Italian place in a perfect small town. Service was attentive, even for a late lunch and the portions were ample-to-ohmygoshIneedanapnow.
