Came here for brunch with family and friends on Saturday morning. It wasn’t super crowded but the service was a little bit slow. Despite this, the food was cheap, cheap, cheap and SUPER delicious. I had the western omelette, chocolate chip pancakes, and the glazed cinnamon bread. It was so good that I was tasting it even well after we left! It filled me up for the rest of the day(necessary for wine tasting festivities!). For one of the only brunch places available near Watkins Glen, this place is pretty fantastic. Apparently the coffee is something you want to avoid, but if you’re looking for a place with great food at even better prices, you’ll want to stop by here. As long as you have time and don’t mind talking to your friends as you wait for some yummy food, you’ll have no problem with this place.

I wanted to like this place, it had charm and charisma. We arrived at 10:30 am to a very busy place. We ordered and didn’t have our food until 11:35. The food was good and a large portion(they only serve breakfast on Sunday) but not worth the hour wait.

Breakfast was good. Got really busy while we ate and the servers kept up with the crowd.

Review is for breakfast. Fairly mediocre breakfast. And they charged us extra for the home fries with omelets, which then made it not so inexpensive. Service is very quick.

Only went here once! I was in Watkins Glen for the weekend and this was like… the ONLY brunch/breakfast place, which was weird. But it was very cheap and I got a waffle & bacon(of course) which was so yummy! We had a very friendly waitress and an overall great experience! Only complaint would be that she took a while to bring the check over, but that’s a common thing, so not bad! X’s and O’s! J

My son and I were looking for a nice spot for dinner on our way through the area. I saw the sign and a full parking lot and thought it would be a great choice. We had to seat ourselves which would have been easy if the tables were clean. I was surprised my how limited the menu was but I was willing to give it a chance. We ordered calamari as an appetizer. It was covered in bitter garlic and completely unappetizing. I ordered the Chicken Milanese which consisted of two deep fried chicken cutlets covered in garlic and parmesan cheese with a side of spaghetti in red sauce. It was alright but nothing spwcial and not as described on the menu. Dessert is definitely store bought as my lemon meringue was still frozen on the inside. Do yourself a favor and just drive right on by.

Place was dirty. Food was really greasy and gross. My family liked it but I prefer fresher ingredients in my omelette and a cleaner space to eat.

I have made two visits to this restaurant within the last month. Both stops were the same day of the week and the same time. Our first visit was good. We had an experienced waitress who was attentive to our needs. Food was quick and good. I had the turkey club which was huge. I could not eat the entire sandwich. Both of my sons had the grilled cheese with fries(onion rings for the other). My husband ate the texas hot and side salad. But our second visit was not the same. We got there and there were tables that were empty but had not been cleaned yet(seat yourself). We had to wait for one to be cleared. We had a waiter this time. I had to ask him to wipe down the table when he brought the menus.(He was the one who had cleared it). This time I ordered the BLT which was awesome. Kids got the same as before and my husband had the roast beef sandwich. The food was good but the service sucked !!! We were there over 40 minutes before we had food. There were people who came in after us and had eaten before we had food. The waiter also forgot to put in the order of onion rings. By the time we had them we had eaten everything. So I am giving this a 2 star based on the service of the second visit. We will go there again but not sit in his area. Not alot of options in this area to eat.

one of my favorite spots while I am in WG. Usually order from the lunch/dinner menu as breakfast is not my favorite. Burgers are FRESH and excellent quality meat. Soups are awesome, always homemade. Salads-eh, very basic and the ranch dressing was«runny» Family owned and operated– good people.

Sorry curly’s, even a super hungover winefester couldn’t find respite in your diner breakfast food. Service was sad. At first, you think the limited selection of food is going to be the biggest challenge… until you get the food. Not great. The only thing Curly’s has going for it is the lack of competition in the area. And it was clean, I can definitely give them that, from the booths to the bathrooms, very fresh.

My first and last visit was horrible. I’m just going to say this… they were out of my favorite whiskey(Jameson so no its not a rare drink to find at a bar, and not a big deal either until…) I got a water. One sip of water made me order any beverage with a factory seal(I got a bottled beer, beer isn’t my favorite thing in the world either). The water had a plastic/rubber taste and probably was due to a dirty/prehistoric beverage system, tasted like chemicals. Scary stuff.

Great, homemade breakfast, fantastic service. Breakfast is served all day, and was exactly what I wanted. I don’t understand the bad reviews at all. The eggs were fresh, the hashbrowns were delicious and my glass was never empty. I wouldn’t go there for fine dining, but one look at the outside and any reasonable person should know that.

walked in for a late lunch, and a sign said to seat yourself. There was not a lot of people sitting at the booths, waited for 10 minutes and no one came around to drop off a menu or even acknowledge our presence. walked out and went somewhere else.

Went to Curly’s for breakfast and the service was mediocre. My coffee cup was dirty with lipstick. The food was luke-warm and bacon was burnt. The coffee also tasted burnt. Overall, not a good dining experience.
