Do NOT take your pet to this vet hospital. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. These people have no idea how to provide care to animals. I took my cat in for fleas and a rabies vaccine, and that one visit ruined her life. I called ahead to ask the hospital if they had the non-adjuvant rabies vaccine because my cat is prone to developing masses after vaccines. They assured me they had it. Well, when we went in, the vet shoved a needle into her neck as soon as he saw her. Rabies vaccines should always be given in the leg in case a tumor develops and needs to be removed. Before leaving, we checked to make sure it was the non-adjuvant vaccine in case she developed a tumor, but it turned out that no one knew what that meant, so they just lied to me over the phone? She had to go to Cornell after that to check on the mass that grew as a result of this bad vaccine. Now, we are seeing the repercussions from the flea collar as well. The vet assured us that the flea collar he gave us was safe for cats and that he uses them on his own animals. Our cat has just been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma on her tongue, a cancer that has been linked to flea collars in various studies. You should be able to trust your vet to give you up to date medical advice, and these people absolutely are incapable of doing that. If I could go back in time, the one thing I would change would have been to take her to Cornell that day instead of this terrible hospital.
