I love Starbucks but I can’t stand this location. The parking lot irritates me(or the people who park in the parking lot?) and it doesn’t get better inside. Every time I go there someone is pushing on me and trying to butt in front of me. Why?! I know how lines work. Don’t they?! I’ve also never had my coffee made correctly there. I don’t order anything special. It is usually a doppio or a cold brew with sugar free hazelnut. The other day I ordered a doppio on ice with a shot of SF syrup. I literally got a full cup of syrup. Ugh. So gross. My cold brew never gets the syrup that it is supposed to. It is just so weird and frustrating. I also feel like every time I order something I get a million questions about what I’m ordering. I don’t understand why. No other Starbucks has an issue with this. The tables outside are nice, but people smoke there constantly and just ruin it for those who don’t.

Super nice staff who handled a long line and made a mean grande caramel macchiato. This is my favorite Starbucks in the area, I would highly recommend visiting. If it’s busy, the parking lot can be kind of tough.

I will not go to any other Starbucks besides this one. Even when the line is out the door it’s a quick wait and my iced coffee comes out perfect. This place has converted me from a Dunks girl forever. Kind of a big deal. Also, Helen is a little ball of sunshine and she puts me in as good of a mood as I can be in prior to consuming any caffeine. She’s the best.

This place is speedy and makes a great coffee. Parking can be tough but in watertown where is it not? Staff is very friendly.

This place was a breath of fresh air for my wife and me. We tried the local fave DD and were greatly disappointed, it makes no sense to us why anyone would choose DD over starbucks. My first trip to this starbucks was a weekday and they opened their doors 15 minutes prior to their listed opening time. The baristas were very friendly, fast, accurate and they spoke great English. The seating area was also very nice and clean. Again, night and day difference from any DD I’ve ever visited.

Staff is always friendly but they still get surprised w mid-west friendliness back. It’s super busy in the mornings but they’re quick. I love how the red-headed barista announces the detailed drink differences with such gusto. He makes it fun to wait for your drink. Very smart! Tried to come do some work here. Not many tables anymore and the music is too loud for conf calls. But if you’re coming just to read or do work, it’s perfect!

Pretty standard but nice Starbucks. The staff has always been pleasant and I’ve never needed a drink remade. It’s always clean and the straws, napkins, etc are always stocked. They have a nice little patio in the summer. The only negative is their parking lot which I suppose isn’t their fault but it’s always crazy crowded at all hours. Like others have mentioned whatever you do — don’t go to the Starbucks in the Target — it’s heinous on all levels.

Best bathroom in Watertown. Ok, maybe not the best but there was parking and it was there and it was clean. Victory for me. The coffee? Are you kidding me. Who drinks their coffee?

These guys have some good quick service. I do go here a lot and the employees are pleasant and smile a lot. it is usually busy here. It is generally more quiet between 1 – 4 can still get crowded. Like I said they are quick so it is usually not a huge deal.

I normally wouldn’t write a review for a corporate, big-box, take-it-as-it-is company, but the service at this Starbucks is A-OK in my book. There is no drivethrough and the parking lot is nut-so, but all coffee shops have their pros and cons. Luckily I normally come in here while waiting for the bus, so I don’t have to deal with the craziness. Anywho– the cashiers are just a joy to be around. They go out of their way to ensure all customers are happy and often promote further conversation with patrons. Maybe they are making up for the long linse, crowded tables and tiny parking lot, but hey– it works for me!

This Starbucks has a lot to offer: generous chairs and tables for reading or laptop work(with free wi-fi!), fine baked goods(especially their apple fritters — great indulgence fulfillment at the lowest price), the best mocha frappuccino in town, Tazo Refresh tea second to none, a good selection of books to read, and some outdoor café seating. It’s also a handsome renovation of an old Friendly’s restaurant, cupola and gabled roof intact. Yet I miss the easy-chairs I used to enjoy sinking into with a good book or laptop that they had before their renovation. And, personally, this isn’t my favorite brand of coffee. But for a good place to get some work done away from the house when the Watertown Free Library is closed, Starbucks at 75 Mount Auburn Street is good value.

Ugg the staff at this Starbucks are sort of rude. I dont know if it’s just the Friday night staff but I just ordered my second venti coffee and the woman behind the counter looked at me like I was inconveniencing her. Also they just finished complaining about customers and how dumb they are loudly in front of other customers. Not pleasant.

I guess I can say I’m a regular at this Starbucks. I prefer some baristas over others and some of the staff are friendlier than others. Parking is a pain SOMETIMES. depending on what time you go. Lastly, if the line is long and there are many people waiting for their drink… Be patient as they’re probably short staffed or there’s a newbie. Or just get a simple cup of coffee instead of a specialty and just go on with your day!

I can’t complain too much about the drinks because well… it’s Starbucks. It tastes like every other Starbucks. I give it 4 stars like almost every other Starbucks. However, the customers here are AWFUL. I don’t know what the deal is with Watertown, but the first time I came here the place was flooded with moms and strollers. Some kind of meet up group I’m guessing, but I wish the store staff would have asked them to fold up the strollers and put them in the corner or something. There was no space for anyone else to sit and I found it really inconsiderate to other paying customers. The second time I was here, I hesitated when ordering my drink because I changed my mind and got yelled by the customer behind me. «Are you ordering or what?!» Chill out, man! Jeeze. I paused for maybe 2 seconds. Then in their couch/lounge area a customer was sitting in one of the comfy chairs and moved another one to the middle of the room to prop up his feet. He didn’t appear to be drinking or eating anything. He was just sort of there and awkwardly blocking up the comfier chairs and floor space. I recognize that none of these issues are about Starbucks itself, but in all situations the staff never did anything to try and facilitate the interaction. If people come into my work place and are being rude or inconsiderate to another customer, I usually step in and politely handle the situation. I just think it’s good customer service.

I only go to this Starbucks in a caffeine emergency. The service is painfully slow and you only have a slim chance of getting what you order. I have a friend who grew up in Columbia and she says she could fly home grow, harvest and return with the coffee before they could serve you what you order at this Starbucks. She may just be right. Staff just does not pay attention to what they are doing and move very slowly. Even for just a cup of black coffee poured from ther coffee maker into a cup can take five minutes. Seats outside are filled with people smoking and parking is a pain. Avoid if you can.

I really like their hot chocolate, café mocha and mocha light frappachino. The iced tea(black tea, no sugar) is not really that good — I think iced tea without sugar should still taste good(the sugar is just the extra), and it is not right. I also like the mini vanilla scones and those new cakes on a stick(they gave my daughter a «sample», which was the whole thing — that was nice). They are close to where I live, so I like to stop by or meet friends here. The baristas are very nice here and have never had an issue with them.

First things first, I’m not a fan of Starbucks, their corporate giant philosophy which they try to pretend they don’t promote, or the people that go to Starbucks. This Starbucks is special though. It features exceptionally slow service which would make even the most patient of people(which I do try to be) enraged. This place is mostly inhabited by the typical group of Starbucks clientele: hipsters who are pushing 50 and trying to pretend they’re 22, hyper-pretentious Mac users who associate Steve Jobs with the saviour of mankind, people with iPhones and think that because they have an application to tell them the weather that they’re weathermen(seriously the shame of New England) and pretentious yuppies who think that because they pay an extra $ 4 for their coffee and add funny names to their coffee they’re somehow better than everyone else. Now, as for their coffee, thats a matter of opinion, but I’m drinking a coffee now which has a very distinct taste of pineapples and plastic and it really disturbs my curiosity. Their coffee is never anything special, but people don’t go to Starbucks for the coffee, they go so they can get a cup with the Starbucks logo on it so they look like they an afford the extra $ 4 on their coffee. Another thing which pisses me off about Starbucks is that they’re selling pre-made turkey sandwiches for $ 5.75+tax. Nothing special about the sandwiches, normal sandwich bread that you’d buy for a dollar in a grocery store, normal turkey and normal cheese, but it still costs an arm and a leg. You can go anywhere and get a much larger, much fresher, and much tastier sandwich for much less and it’s insulting to think they would even try to sell something like that to people. This particular Starbucks is full of Armenian people(like everywhere else in Watertown) yelling on their cell phones. I don’t have any problems with Armenian people, in fact many of them are quite nice and hard working, but these ones pretend like they’re from the Jersey Shore and people like that are obnoxious and dirty and say things like«Oh you’re from Russia? Russia? I don’t know where that is.» I really don’t like people like that in Massachusetts and it definitely kills the atmosphere in this establishment. Also I’m in this Starbucks now and I just overheard someone say he was Turkish-Armenian and that the alleged Armenian Genocide killed 900 million people and no one admits it. So long story short, the people that work here are stupid. The people that frequent this establishment are even dumber and need a history lesson and a slap in the face. /rage over.
