I had a meeting today and I got the time wrong, thank God I was early rather than late! So I had a bunch of time to kill and I’m thinking… What to do? I walk all over Newton and I’m running out of places to go… Then I see a Dunkin’ Donuts … So I go in for a cup of coffee. Hands down the best coffee ever! Better than any other Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks!!! But the best thing about this place is John! Just about everyone who came in knew his name and what he’s all about and I was so surprised that he knew most of the customers names and their lives as well! If your ever in this location I’m sure you’ll leave with a smile from John! And I didn’t even like coffee until now.

We buy coffee every week day and Stacey been wonderful and fast and is only 2 People working weekdays when is really busy and they handle it pretty well. Well today Saturday morning we decide to stop by and get our coffee and they did have 5 people behind the counter working and the line was pretty long. I order cold ice coffee extra sugar, extra cream and that coffee didn’t have either one, My Wife order caramel, latte hot with wipe cream and we were in the hurry and I ask her if the latte has caramel? She said I didn’t know you want caramel… she look at the coffee and said I can manage to add some but is kind of full a ready. Coffee was BAD. I’m giving you 5 stars because of Stacey but you need to train your People.

I have only visited this place 3 times, ordered 3 items in total, and had 2 bad experience. 1. My large hot latte was only 2⁄3 full. I noticed my large latte was lighter than usual immediately when I received it, but I was in a hurry and left without saying anything. When I opened it at work… I mean really?! 2. Ordered a sandwich. Waited and waited… Watched everyone ordered after me receiving their sandwiches and bagels. They probably forgot my order or didn’t see it on the screen until I spoke to the staff. Not happy with this place.

The staff even though it changes has pretty much always been amazing as far as being friendly and helpful but the management is clearlyyy the worst. Someone who actually cares to be a leader would do wonders for this location I am surprised it is still open. I used to go here about 4 years ago everyday b/c its the most convenient but now I drive to a different one just to get a coffee that is consistent and your sandwich cheese may or may not be burn to shit, theirs are never the same and 99.9% wrong, again not the staffs fault they don’t have someone giving them direction even the staff has told me their manager doesn’t care and it shows. I still try and give it a chance but every time myself or my bf do its a fail. I have even spoke to other people random times and they have pointed out unprovoked that this location is the worst. If I am going to be lazy and buy a coffee or food instead of making it myself is it wrong to except that it is made it right.

I love Dunkin, but this is the worst service I have ever had. I work close by and would love a cup of coffee before work, but I have to allow myself atleast 15 minutes to get my order here. It seems like it’s every staff members first day on the job every time I stop in. And to top it off, the parking lot is a nightmare

If I could give this zero stars, I would. This is by far the worst Dunkin donuts in Massachusetts. I used to work at DD and know it’s not that difficult to keep the line moving. I recently started a job almost across the street. Refuse to go there now. Terrible coffee, bad service, and seems like no one was trained properly. I’ve always been a dunks coffee drinker, but with how bad they are I will walk up the road to Starbucks.

Don’t do it. I had the worst experience today and I usually don’t go to this location very often. Just on the extreme off chance that I need a coffee or want an iced tea in the afternoon. I’ve come here in the morning and after 5pm, and that was fine. For some reason the lunch time hours were horrible today and it wasn’t just for me. What happened: I ordered a sandwich combo and asked for the sauce on the side. Easy peasy, yeah? No. My iced tea was made and left on the counter, and then there was the sandwich blunder of all time. My sandwich was made and thank goodness I looked inside before leaving… I grabbed my sandwich out of the bag, opened it and there was sauce on the bread, but no meat. None. So then it took me eons to get another sandwich made, which wasted 45 minutes of my lunch hour. Something that was supposedly quick took forever, and I wasn’t happy about it. I wasn’t the only one with messed up orders, so others were in the same boat fuming for 20 minutes. The manager jumped in and redid everyone’s orders, and made no mood to give me a refund or anything to compensate. Not that I ever expect anything like this, but given the situation at the time, I was. Needless to say I had a frazzled rest of the day because my lunch hour was spent in a huffy puffy annoyed mood. Screwdrivers will be consumed this evening…

After reading the other old reviews for this location it looks like this establishment has made some changes. I am giving this review 5 stars based on this Dunkins versus other DDs in the area. I go here every day on my way to work. After trying numerous other DDs and other coffee joints for over six months, I have made this my every-morning stop. While I am usually a Starbucks girl, I am also not a morning person, and want the quickest coffee I can get on my way to work without having to wakeup an extra twenty precious minutes earlier due to long lines that many coffee shops have in this area. Not only is the staff extremely quick and timely, but they are always very friendly and efficient. They see me in line and my drink is ready before I even pay. They offer the best service I have seen at any DD in the area.

it’s dunkin donuts. i prefer this so much to starbucks, but its hardly the quality of a good, independent coffee shop. as far as cheap, decent coffee — i’m glad they’re directly below my office. and its nice to be able to get coffee and a bagel with cream cheese for about $ 4. but the bagels aren’t amazing, either. i haven’t experienced anything like the other reviewers. all of my experiences at this dunkin donuts have been good. none of my coworkers have ever mentioned poor service, either. yikes. those are some horror stories!

Please keep driving down Washington St and avoid this Dunkin Donuts. They have the worst service and never listen to sandwich orders correctly. Once an employee muttered«spoiled b#@$ch» under her breath because my friend asked for something in a different kind of cup then it would normally go in. Not appropriate and I haven’t been back since!

I’m not sure if they have ever got an order right from anyone I work with. It’s really the only food place close located near my work and I hate going there. I hate having to repeat myself and still not get what I order. Staff changes so frequently, it’s to the point now that the ones who have been there for a while avoid looking at me because they know that I don’t like them. They even have district managers in there sometimes and they seem to add to the problem not solve it. If you drive by another one on your way any where go, because this one is not worth it. Seriously, pull it together.

Avoid at all costs. This is the Dunks in Newton Corner. Before they opened a Dunks in Oak Square we were forced to go to this one. The service is always bad. Hubby’s coffee always seems undrinkable. Long lines. Dirty. Just awful. But the best was the incident that had me reeling. We went in one morning on our way downtown when we didn’t have time to go out of our way to the Dunks in Oak Square. Hubby ordered a coffee and I ordered a large tea. We grabbed our beverages and got in the car. I opened the little sippy cover thingy and… sniff sniff… «Wait a minute I’ll be right back.» I went back in and made my way to the counter and asked, «Did you make my tea with coffee instead of water? That’s just gross.» She admitted that she had and remade it, but it left me to wonder how she got through the entire process without noticing what she was doing. I mean you have to physically hold the teabag tabs while you pour in the liquid to keep them from being swept into the cup, or you have to actually put teabags into a cup of coffee and add milk and sugar to boot! I mean how do you get through that entire process without realizing that you’re making the dumbest mistake ever? Unless she didn’t know that you make tea with WATER and not COFFEE! Idiot.
