I arrived at 9:45 am on a Monday and they were closed, despite a 7 am opening time posted on Unilocal.Disappointed.

I stopped in for lunch recently and got a great salad(the fig/mint one). The salads are small but quite inexpensive, the atmosphere is great, and the workers were all really nice and friendly. They have a few already-vegan options and can skip the cheese on other dishes to make them vegan. And the best part(in my opinion): they make vegan challah!(Make sure you specify, since they also make non-vegan challah.)

What a great place for a cup of coffee and atomosphere. The staff was super helpful and the coffee and muffin were fabulous. What was most impressive is the slogan of empowering people of all abilities. Galit should be an inspiration to us all.

I live in the area and had seen signs for Power Café, so I thought I’d pop in to grab a coffee and say hello. I found their medium roast to be quite delicious, and the man who prepared my coffee was very helpful and friendly. I was in a bit of a rush so I wasn’t able to stay long, but I had a great experience overall. I’ll have to stop in again some time to try their baked goods.

This place was great. The food was super cheap & delicious — try the frittatas, you won’t regret it! Also loved the adult coloring on Sundays — it was nice to have something to do while the food was being prepared.

I live in the neighborhood and this was my first time visiting the Power Café. Ordered a tuna sandwich on challah which was tasty. Staff was very friendly! I like the idea of supporting local businesses and love the idea of a café that employees those with disabilities. I would return and wish this business much success.

Such a great idea for a café. Definitely want to support this local business. Salads are good, sandwich was cheap and delicious, and frittatas were fantastic. Coloring at the tables was fun.

I brought my 3-year old here today and loved it. The food was very good(delicious egg salad on homemade wheat bread and the fig-mint salad) as was the coffee. The owner, Galit, and her staff members were all very lovely and welcoming. We brought home chocolate chip muffins which were also quite good. I can’t wait to go back and try more off the menu!

I brought my girls in yesterday for lunch. Galit and Steve were so welcoming and attentive. The challah bread was fantastic. They have paper covered tables and baskets of crayons, plus coloring books, so my girls were entertained. My youngest(4 years old) said that it was«the best restaurant ever!» The only quibble I have(if you can call it that) was the sandwich bread was cut too thick to get my mouth around, so I ended up only eating half of my tuna sandwich(which was very tasty) and having to bring the other piece of bread home. We will return and will recommend this place to our friends. Good luck to you, Galit and staff!

This new café has a great mission– to provide work for young adults with disabilities. We had some excellent coffee and tuna and egg salad sandwiches on challah rolls. Nice side salads too. I appreciate the wifi especially because there are few places on Main Street in West Watertown to hang out and get some work done.

I went to the Power Café for the first time last Sunday. My friends and I came in for brunch, along with my friend’s guide dog. No fuss was made because of the dog except to say how beautiful she was! The staff and owner were really wonderful and friendly. My friends had the Israeli Salad and the Cucumber and Cream Cheese sandwich on homemade Challah bread. I had the egg salad sandwich on challah. The food is delicious! You can come in and sit and talk and eat with friends or just come by yourself and your laptop. They have free WIFI. I will definitely be back!

I’ve visited The Power Café three times now and I like it very much. The coffee is quite good and consistently so. I love the egg salad. I also am partial to the Challah rolls here. I usually bring home a small loaf. PS they are also working on more gluten free recipes and already have some. Awesome jelly donuts. I hope they do them more often!

I got a tuna sandwich on Challah bread with a small bag of chips, a muffin and a coffee. Delicious. The muffin had candied fruit in it. The coffee was fresh and hot. The only minor quibble is the tuna needed more stuff in it — celery, maybe tumeric, and a bit more mayo. Still, atmosphere and friendly owner make this a great place. Count me in for a return visit.

I had a great smoothie and coffee here, but also what a wonderful and welcoming owner and staff. They have wi-fi, highchairs, and a healthy menu(with a few treats too) — I will be back!
