We stopped by on a whim because we wanted to try something different. Such a good decision to do so! The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and offered suggestions to our little girl because she’s very finicky. Great suggestion because she ate every last bite. The crepes were perfect… both sweet and savory. The gentleman making the crepes was fast and efficient, and kind enough to let out little girl watch the whole process. Great place for our little family of four. I would definitely recommend the DC Brunch Special. Best savory crêpe I have ever had! The prices are also pretty good!

One of my friends in Los Angeles recommended I eat here. It wasn’t the best. The service is pretty rude and the crepes are lacking flavor and originality.

Nice spot with friendly service and a good crepes, especially compared to the other crêpe stand in Chinatown. We got two espressos and Split the #2DC Crêpe. The crêpe had fresh non canned mushrooms, and tasted good. Good spot that I would recommend if your near. We will try a sweet crêpe next time.

The flavors were spot on, and the presentation was clean and attractive. I had the DC Brunch Special crêpe and was completely satisfied by the salinity and ingredients. So glad I stumbled upon this place.

Second time here and I’m already in love. Savory, or sweet crepes, delicious coffee– NUTELLA gelato? You’ve gotta try this place. Excellent customer service too!

We had breakfast here. There are multiple selections of crepes, both sweet and savory, but not much else, hence the name. They do serve Illy coffee as well. We all enjoyed our crepes and there were no leftovers. The portion size was reasonable. If you get one of the mega breakfasts at Denny’s or IHOP you will need to order more than one, but for me, a single crêpe with coffee was perfect for breakfast. I found the crepes to be light and a bit crisp and I had no difficulty cutting them with a knife, which seemed to provide a challenge for some other reviewers. It’s cool to watch them make the crepes, right in the window. It was close the Hyatt where I tend to stay for business, so I will definitely be back.

My nephew enjoyed their crêpes… Wide variety of selection and the service was pretty fast. We went twice during our stay in the nearby hotel.

Stopped by for breakfast this morning with my daughter. Didn’t check the hours first and wrongly assumed that a breakfast establishment would be open PRIOR to 0900 on a Saturday! Fortunately, we arrived only a few mins prior to 9 and joined 6 others who were waiting on the doors to open. The staff unlocked the doors promptly at 0900 and we went in. This place is really small as other reviewers have noted. I counted 25 chairs and maybe 9 tables max — many of them tables that only accommodate two guests. Services was reasonably quick. You order at the counter and take a number tag to display on the table. The crêpe is made at a central station and delivered to your table afterwards using the number tag to get it to the right place. I had the breakfast crêpe — fried egg, ham, scallions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and cheese wrapped in a crêpe. It was pretty good, but the veggies could have been a bit more done for my liking. Still, I finished the majority of the crêpe. My daughter had a ham and cheese crêpe. Then, we splurged and split a chocolate and banana crêpe for ‘desert’. While the overall food was good, it was similar to most other creperies that I have visited in the US and certainly sub-par to any creperie in most any city in Europe. Pricing was a little higher than I would have expected, but not too far out of line. Overall, it was a good breakfast. Not something I would go out of my way for, but as my rating notes, «A-OK».

This is a little shop that had a limited crêpe menu. I tried their specialty savory crêpe –the DC crêpe. It was a good size in terms of the filling, but I felt that the taste was a little bland. My friend got the Nutella crêpe, which was good he said, but not very filling. The décor of this place is minimal. The coffee is decent.

Terrible not sure why this was reviewed so high as the crepes are like leather you can’t even cut them with a serrated knife and the coffee is bitter ! Clearly staff need training A crêpe should be light and fluffy This was tough and leathery

We came to DC for a game this weekend and stayed at the Grand Hyatt. After a day of walking, I needed a close breakfast spot that would allow me to wear flip flops in 30 degree temps. The Creperie had some great Unilocal reviews, so I was excited to stop in with my fiancé. One thing I learned from our breakfast stops this weekend was that it is a necessity in DC to make the most of small spaces. The Creperie was no exception. They make good use of their small spot, but they don’t have many tables or spots to sit and eat — especially when other diners camp out at tables, socializing after they’ve finished eating. We ordered some coffee and breakfast with plans to take our crepes to go if none of the tables cleared. Our coffee was brought up right away and we squeezed(emphasis on squeezing, especially if the place is full) to the back to add the fixings. They serve Illy and it was delicious. If you like it strong, this is the place to get your morning java! Just in time for our crepes to come up, a small table with stuffed chairs cleared so we took a spot. The mister ordered a sweet crêpe with fresh apples, cinnamon and sugar. It was served dusted with powdered sugar and whipped cream. He raved about it! I went the savory route with the DC Special — Turkey, tomato, mushroom, avocado and feta(your choice of cheese). It was huge and satisfying without feelling too heavy. It will definitely be on my list if we get back to the city!

We ate here on our first morning on a 5 night trip to DC with our 7, 9, and 10 year old. I am traditionally not a big fan of crepes, but this place was fantastic. We came back for a total of three times. Great food. Great service.

Introduced my son to crepes on vacation here… They were amazing. I had the DC Brunch Special(savory) and my son had the Nutella and Strawberry… Both were yummy. Also, the service and staff are friendly and fast. Recommend this place to anyone staying or living nearby.

Dozens and dozens of sweet and savory crepes to chose from for less than $ 10… Informal, fairly quick, tasty, and a pretty good deal in DC.
