I ordered the Greek Salad and Tzaziki from here. You get a lot for what you pay for, the food was ok, nothing special, and they delivered right on time.

Thank goodness I ordered through Seamless. I ordered food at 3 and they gave the order to the wrong person. When I complained to Seamless, they said Bistro Med would make a new order to me. Instead, BM(fitting initials) called me to argue with me that they called me a million times(false) and they gave the food to my(nonexistent) roommate, rather than making the order. I hung up on the person who tried to argue with me and called back Seamless who instantly refunding my money. Thank god. Their effery is not f-cking worth it.

We ordered delivery from here late on a Friday night. We ordered the pesto pizza, which comes with sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, mozzarella cheese and pesto sauce, along with a side of french fries. The delivery guy showed up with the pizza and two bags of potato chips. He said they ran out of fries and that two bags of chips equals one order of fries. SERIOUSLY? He refused to give us a refund. He insisted that getting two bags of chips really was the equivalent of french fries. After the guy leaves us with our chips and broken hearts, we open the box to what looks like an olive pizza. Upon further examination, there were no olives, just sun-dried tomatoes that were burnt beyond oblivion. Had we not sat and picked every one off, we would have eaten straight chunks of ash. I added some pictures of the burnt sun-dried tomatoes for further reference. Do not order from here.

This pizza is bad. This pizza is the product of using bad flour, bad salt, bad cheese, bad sauce, bad toppings, and probably bad water. Unfortunately, I’ve gone here very many a time because I’m stupid and weak and like pizza. That is all.

I live in SW so it’s rare to find a place that delivers. I’ve seen Bistro Med on grub hub for a long time but could never decide if it was worth ordering. I got the falafel pita and feta cigars. It was delivered in about 30 mins which was great but the pita was pretty cold by that point. The feta cigars was definitely the highlight, I saw those recommended by many people and they’re really good. The falafel was very bland and dry, wouldn’t get that again. For delivery I was satisfied and will probably order from here again. Curious about their pizza.

I’ve ordered delivery from this place twice from grubhub and I have yet to be disappointed. The pizza is delicious! The pepperoni is always a tiny bit crispy(which I love!) and the pineapple is always great. They put a really good amount of ingredients on the pizza so you’re never taking bites just of sauce or just of cheese. They also have always delivered the pizza to my house at least 15 minutes before the expected delivery time. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good, inexpensive pizza to be delivered to their home.

I really like the food from this place. I ordered it once a few weeks ago and was really excited to order delivery again today. Unfortunately when my food arrived I discovered that part of the order was missing. The driver had left about a minute before I realized. I’d just given him a $ 5 tip for a $ 30 order. I called the restaurant and told the guy who answered the phone. He said they’d send the guy back with the rest of the food. An hour later I called back and no one answered because they were now closed. Awesome. I paid for food that was not delivered. I was planning to write a 4– or 5-star review, but how can I write a good review after this happened? It’s very dissapointing… and I’m still hungry.

I ordered from the other location(not on Unilocal) from GrubHub tonight and it was just terrible. Here’s what I ordered: –Doner platter, no tzatziki, w/side salad, balsamic vinaigrette –Ziti a la Vodka w/side salad, ranch dressing –Water –Diet Coke Here’s what I received: –Doner(cold) with three cups of tzatziki, no salad –Spaghetti marinara w/side salad and Italian dressing –Coke When they were an HOUR late, I called and the woman said that someone had signed for my order half an hour earlier. Um, no they didn’t. She«called» the driver and he showed up about ten minutes later, no explanation, no apologies, just a big smile. I will NEVER order from them again. Absolutely horrible.

I almost want to give this place 5 stars because the döner sandwiches are incredible. Fresh ingredients and the meat is flavorful and tender. What makes this sandwich different is the bread. It’s light, airy and at the same time holds together. I haven’t had any other bread like this in the city. The sandwiches are big and for 5.99, you have to be kidding. I go the mile or so out of the way from my house for this sandwich. It’s incredible.

Really, this is 3.5 star review. The seating is virtually non-existant and there is no décor to speak of, but the pizza is really solid. It’s my favorite low-end pizza in the Chinatown area(so not counting sit-down places like Pi and Matchbox), and is the closest you can get in the area to large, NY-style slices. I much prefer this place to z-Pizza(also because z Pizza is a chain). The pizza at Bistro Med is tasty, and greasy, and the pepperoni is always a good choice. Highly recommended for what it is.

Oh, Med. How I love thee. This place is the BEST drunk pizza ever. Like ever. My friend and I always make it a priority to come here after a night of drinking. Or before. Don’t judge. The guys behind the counter pretty much know us by name at this point. Between the two of us, we’ve converted at least 20 people to fans. As for their other food, I dunno. I only stick with the pizza which has never let me down. It’s greasy, cheesy, alcohol-absorbing goodness. And it’s not that expensive. If you’re out after a long night in Chinatown, try this place out! You won’t be disappointed. And your sober self with thank you in the AM.

I love this place! I was looking for something different for delivery, besides the usual chinese food/pizza. I was on and found Bistro Med. –I love that they use lebanese style pita which is fluffy and thick, versus the flatter type of pita. I usually choose between a sandwich or a platter(which comes with rice, veggies, side salad and pita). Delivery is speedy and the food is still HOT. I have not had a single bad experience when ordering from Bistro Med.

A can of rootbeer and an enormous slice of pepperoni and sausage pizza came out to less than $ 5, and was hot, delicious and completely satisfying for lunch. So that’s A-OK in my book. One suggestion, more toppings! I could barely taste/see the sausage. With more sausage it would have been perfect.

Note: I never have physically been at this location. I use to have delivery of many different eateries in the DC area, including this one. My first experience with Bistro Med, was a pleasure. I was delighted by their quick delivery, considering their location in the Chinatown area and me being in the Columbia Heights. I had ordered Feta Cigars and the Meat Doner Pita. The Feta Cigars are amazing! I wasn’t too impressed with the pita. *One of my personal characteristics is that food is food. I’m not a flavor snob or food critic. Very simplistic approach to food… goes in mouth gives me nutrition, end of story. That being said if something is unimpressive or horrible it must mean something, cause if I wont eat it no one should* My second experience was a different story. After using the same service above. I waited an hour and a half before I called Bistro Med and asked, politely, when could I expect to receive the delivery. I was told the driver had just left, due to rain(which was more like a sprinkle) and traffic(it was 2:10 in the afternoon) it was delayed. Well being from the service industry I have learned to be patient and understanding to all situations related to food. Many times we, as customers, do not see the whole picture. And although my food may have taken longer then I would have liked I received a warm greeting from the delivery person whom I could tell was feeling a bit rushed. Of course I returned to a new love, Feta Cigars, delicious as always. As well as a Chicken Spinach Pita Melt, which regretfully I have to admit was semi-cold. All in all, I would say that this place is an «mehhhh». Not the best but not the worst. I will diffidently rethink where to eat if I’m starving and can not wait a hour and forty-five minutes for delivery.

$ 3.75 per slice. One slice, maybe two is a big meal. So on a value basis, this place gets five stars. However, I’m a pizza snob. So, while this place is better than Any Name Brand Pizza, it’s not The Italian Store. Nevertheless, it is good enough pie. Also they have something unique. Deep Fried Feta Cheese sticks. Salty goodness! Strangely the Med in their title is because they have an extensive Turkish menu. Everything from Kofte Kabob to Chicken Doner. They also have soup and salad. The menu is huge! See here: I’ll be back to try other things. It’s beats Burger King that’s for sure!

2.5 Stars Even though I was a bit(i.e. very) sauced when I came in here, the pizza wasn’t very good. It was very late at night so maybe it had just been sitting out for too long? I honestly didn’t even know this place had Mediterranean food until I read through their reviews(in retrospect, considering the name, it makes sense). Considering I pass this place every day, I am sure I will give into temptation again after another booze filled night.

This place was not half-bad. I had dolma and a spinach melt pita. I ordered with two friends who also had the fried zucchini and feta cigars and two meat sandwiches. They agree that the sandwiches were kind of dry, and could have used some sauce or a condiment to add a bit of umph. The feta cigars were great, as were the dolma, and it was all relatively inexpensive. I would definitely order from here again when in DC.

Meh indeed. I haven’t had the pizza here yet, but I’ve heard good things. Eggplant dip — really blah. It’s literally like eating ground up, wet matter. And the accompanying pita bread is tough and chewy. Feta Cigars(feta cheese wrapped in phyllo, fried, and served with marinara dipping sauce) — pretty good! Veggie Delight Platter(falafel, rice, salad, yoghurt, tahini, pita, and grilled, skewered vegetables) — weak. The falafel is really dense and somewhere in between moist and dry, which is fine, but lacking any flavor. The grilled vegetables were pretty tasteless. Anyway, aside from pizza, it’s not horrible, it’s not the best, but I suppose I’ll have to try the pizza sometime soon.

What Kim T wants Kim T gets and in exchange for a ride home she gets pizza. This beats any by the slice place that you can find when you have those«Man those drinks were good and that was so much fun and boy do I have the munchies» thoughts swimming through your head. It has a crispy crust and the cheese doesn’t taste like processed crap. I can’t vouch for the flavor when you’re not buzzed, but it’s definitely on my radar for a late night snack after a night on the town.
