Fast service, good food, great employees. My only complaint is they forgot one thing on our order but brought it out and refunded because of our wait. It is small but people eat and run quickly.

Just got into DC from Hershey park and needed a late night bite. Drove right by this place and decided to give it a try. Didn’t eat inside, just got pickup and ate at my hotel. Restaurant appears to be nice and clean. Service was good. Pizza and wings were very good. I would recommend and com back again if I ever make it back to DC.

Very good pizza and wings, we order a whole pie to go and it was cooked to perfection. The chicken wings where nice and spicy just the way I like them. I would definitely be coming back when in town for late night pizza and wings!

This is exactly what it portrays itself as. Cheap, easy, hole-in-the-wall style pizza and wings just a few steps away from the Verizon Center. My review would be 4 stars, but we came on a Friday night at 9pm and they were out of bone in wings. They were also definitely not packed but did have a small goof up in our order that they quickly fixed. I’d come here again.

My second visit at this resturant and still not impressed. The pizza was below average, garlic knots were hard, and customer service was average. You will definitely leave that place smelling like grease. My experience today… I had an issue with my overcooked food and the guy(so called manager with out a name tag) gave me a hard time. He told me that he will lose money to cook me more wings. Really? Im sure the owner would’ve responded differently. By the way, I was there with a group of my coworkers. Bummer customer service.

Because even a hole in the wall pizza joint gets 5 stars for being perfectly what a hole in the wall pizza joint should be!!!

They don’t deliver during sports events. I’m not sure why they don’t have capacity during larger events.

Good food. TERRIBLE service. I ordered online, got home, order was missing half the items. When I called the restaurant, the woman said she can’t guarantee what other employees do will be right and can only say she always gets it right. When I asked why that is the case, she hung up on me. I hope the owners read these reviews because they def lost me as a customer. I can get wings elsewhere without the attitude.

Torn. Just torn. And it has nothing to do with the pizza, which by the way is good and I like that I can walk in and get a slice or two to go and they will have various slices to choose from at any given time. My quandary? Which is better — the Salt and Pepper wings or the Old Bay wings. Yes THEYHAVEBOTH in addition to several other flavors. I love salt and pepper anything and when you put it on a crispy chicken wing it is finger licking good. But I also love Old Bay seasoning so much that if you put it on a piece of cardboard I would probably eat it and lick the rest off my fingers. I just have to take turn with the chicken wing flavors and it is a good excuse to get a slice and a small order of wings each time I go in. They also have salads and calzones and a good selection of beers here.

I placed my order online for the first time because I wanted my wings well done and crispy as suggested on the ordering page. When I got home to my delight, the wings were super soggy inside a white Chinese style container that just makes them sweat even more when placed in there hot. I had to put them in the oven to try and bring them back to life. No Deal. The slice of pizza was good though, but my salad wilted in the bag from the heat of the undercooked wings. Insert Sad Dinner here.

I’m afraid this one is just a total pass. We got a salad and pizza here and both were unimpressive. The pizza is also somehow jagged and rough, so it hurts to eat. The tastes were just not the dreamy cheesiness that you want out of pizza.

Yeah, buddy! Pizza by the slice! I work next to a great pizza joint but I don’t always want to order a whole pizza and pay big $$ for lunch. This place works great for me. $ 3-$ 4 a slice. I usually drop in after the lunch hour rush, pick out the slice I want at the counter and they throw it in the oven to warm it up for me. Today, a fresh pizza was being placed on the rack so I jumped at it. It just so happened to be a pig lover’s delight — pepperoni, ham and sausage. You know my saying, ‘I ain’t never met a pig I didn’t like!’ The place is cool, even though it’s forced character AND they played back to back tunes of Marvin Gaye. Sold!

The service is what reeeeally drags this place down. You can just feel the attitude dripping off some of the women working the registers. The guys have all been pretty cool. They never have enough pizza ready for the big rush from the Verizon Center. How hard is it to plan for the rush that is going to happen before/after events. Unless you beat the crowd expect to wait a while for pizza. Makes no sense. The pizza itself is decent if you catch it fresh. Otherwise, it sits out for who knows how long and then just run through the oven to be heated back up. Most of the time it comes out really dry. They do have pretty solid happy hour(4−7pm I believe). Big pitchers of Bud Light for less than $ 12. Really good way to grab a buzz before heading into the $ 13/beer Verizon Center. Worth a check out for cheap pizza/beer before an event.

Ordered online. Glad I checked before I left. Pizza was all wrong. Unapologetically, they DID make another pizza but, I had to wait and Oder another Über car. Urgh! No assumed responsibility for the mistake and inconvenience. Oh, well. At least I’m home with a piping hot pie. Won’t ever order online with them again. Just got home… ORDERISSTILLWRONG!!! Horrible!

Came here for a bite after a Wizards game and was surprised to find it relatively empty. We ordered a few slices and some knots and weren’t that impressed. They didn’t have very many options for slices and the ones we did get(vegetable and plain) weren’t very good. The cheese was somewhat unpleasant, the slices were bland overall, and they looked like they had been sitting quite a while. The crust though was slightly crisped and tasted okay when dipped in the marinara sauce that came with our garlic knots(which themselves weren’t that bad).

Stumbled in here with a friend dragging me in who had been here before. Not sure why he recommended it. Maybe because the slices resemble a New York slice… slightly. But they don’t know what they want to be here. The smell of overused frying grease is overwhelming… and I still can’t get in out of my clothes after being away from the place for 5 hours. That alone will keep me from coming back. I don’t want any clothes smelling like this. I pity those who have to work here and come home smelling like that! Not sure if they want to be known for wings or pizza… or maybe it’s just trying to offer both to the school bus trip crowd. Back to the food. So the slices look tired sitting there, but perk up a bit when re-heated. Crispy crust was good, but the sauce and cheese are on the weak side. I saw the garlic knots and got excited… until I tasted them. Half cooked at best. Chewy raw dough… …and the fact that it’s in Penn Quarter tourist trap central will keep me from coming back for a second chance.

When my fiancée and I are in an area we aren’t familiar with and aren’t sure what we want for lunch, pizza is always a safe bet. We stumbled upon this Fuel and one closer to Tidal Basin last year and have more or less positive opinions. –Pizza: The pizza isn’t extraordinary, but pizza by the slice that gets heated prior to serving in a crisping oven gets my seal of approval. We’ve tried their cheese slices, pepperoni, and their«Extreme»(basically a meat lover). The pizza is pretty solid with a good amount of toppings, cheese, and sauce, but it isn’t going to win any awards. It certainly isn’t bad and upon the time of writing this review, I’d be up for a slice. –Cost: If I recall, slices are $ 3-$ 4 depending on the type and side of slice. Not terribly expensive, but not super cheap either. –Atmosphere: The interior is designed to look like a gas station, which is kind of cool. In the daytime, it gives a neat vibe. In the nighttime… honestly it’s a little sketchy. Oh well. We made it out alive, hah.(It wasn’t really bad or dangerous, but the lighting was low). –Service: No complaints. The cashier was pleasant enough. The time to get your slices is pretty quick too. –Overall: We don’t go to DC enough, so I don’t know what kind of pizza places exist. The pizza is pretty good but not extraordinary. We’ll probably stop by again in the future because of how easy and fast it is to order a slice and start eating it in a time crunch, but whether I’d recommend it over other pizza places in the area I’m not certain. Perhaps if we stop in DC more and try more places I’ll update this review accordingly. If you’re in the area and want a piece of decent pizza for a fair price without a long wait, give it a try!

I liked this place. I was looking for cheap pizza in the area, and found it – plus great boneless wings as a bonus! The atmosphere has a run down gas station feel, and has a ton of seating. The staff is really friendly and quick, and the menu has so many options to choose from. One of the most exciting things is that they serve alcohol, which most pizza places don’t. Overall it’s just a regular pizza place, but definitely an above average one.

I have been to this restaurant twice in a very short time-span. Each time the service and food were great. The food tastes fresh. This particular time, when I asked if they would mind putting on the Nats game on their TV’s, the manager spent quite a few minutes trying to locate the game. Not only did he put on the game, he turned off the music and turned on the sound to the game — beyond our expectations. We ordered a medium pizza, 18 wings, three drinks and it came to about $ 40. It fed 3 people with very large appetites and we still have left-overs. They have Pepsi products(gold star).

Not the worst but not the best greasy food I’ve had. Ordered the old bay wings and garlic knots. Wish they had more flavor on the wings, it was barely any old bay seasoning. The garlic knots seem old and I like my marinara sauce a little warm but it came out really cold. It was $ 10 for all with a drink which isn’t too bad. Then my sister ordered pepperoni pizza and it was just okay, nothing special. You get what you pay for!
