Track 84 is a place to drink great beer in a relaxed atmosphere. If you’re a twenty-something club-hopper looking for bright lights, loud music, and louder people, then you’re in the wrong place. In appearance, Track 84 is a modest, unassuming place. It’s in a small renovated house, and it’s decorated with beer signs and other memorabilia. It has about 15 stools at the bar, and it has tables for maybe another 40 – 50 people. It also has two well-worn dartboards in the back. The bottled beer selection is very limited, and don’t expect to find many(if any) bottles from large brewers. The reason to visit Track 84 is for the 20 beers on tap. The selection is excellent, and new beers arrive each week. An updated beer list is printed and posted online every day. Also, sometimes they have beers that aren’t on the menu. The choices include American craft brews, distinctive international offerings(especially Belgians), and even some cask ales. It’s true that they don’t print the prices for full beers on the menu. They offer beers in 4-ounce glasses(for beer flights and for single quaffs), and prices for these samplers are posted on the bar. So, you don’t have to buy a full glass of Quadrupel if you only want a snort. Personally, I like to finish the evening with a small sour if they have one on tap. I also wanted to update some earlier reviews. Track 84 most definitely takes credit cards. Unfortunately, they still don’t serve much food. The free popcorn is incredibly delicious, and sometimes they’ll have sandwiches or hot dogs. However, they allow people to bring food or have it delivered. This place is great if you want to grab a pizza, stop by after work, and have great beers with your friends.

Great local dive bar on kilvert st. Beer, sandwiches and more, the sandwhich junction is connected to it. I come for the sandwiches I’m not a beer or liquor drinker, it’s popular with the locals. If you have some free time come and check it out.

Just as it says great little dive bar gem hidden off the road. The beer selection is wide and extensive. Some of the better and best choices for craft beer. All local breweries with interesting taste. It’s very laid back and not loud. Nice to have a convo without having to yell. Don’t think u can go wrong here. Just don’t let the outside fool you.

We were almost worried the GPS was wrong but it was right where it was supposed to be. From the outside it is reminiscent of a small dive but inside the lighting was good and the atmosphere clean. The beer selection was surprising on how many good craft beers they have. The bartenders were very nice and sociable. We almost missed last call but the bartender decided to stay open to his limit due to a wedding post party arrival.(Crongrats you two!) They do take credit cards so don’t be afraid of that. Oh, and they don’t do shots. I asked the bartender why and he said due to the amount of ~9% beers they have they don’t want shots to push things out of control. He did say that he wouldn’t be avers to «neat» liquor drinks but you aren’t going to get a bunch of lemon drops.

Best tap list in Rhode Island hands down! Always sure to get limited releases on draft, and a regular rotation of different beers keeps me coming back. Very laid back atmosphere, which is a nice contrast to the overly crowded Providence bar scene. I’ve never had trouble getting a seat at the bar, and when theres a game on they actually have the television volume up! Maybe I’ve just grown old and tired of trying to watch a game at a bar with loud music blaring in my ears, but again, a nice contrast. I don’t frequent Track 84 on a weekly basis; however, I am definitely checking the draft list on their website that often. Great unassuming spot off the beaten path.

Beer. And more Beer. And no shots. And more Beer. I knew that it was going to be a shady dead end location down the street from the interlink(fancy term for transportation center). I had some different IPAs and after the first one found myself sticking my hand into the pile of popcorn my best friend took from the lovely bartender. The place was brighter than I’m used to a bar being, which was actually pretty nice to be able to read the lists and taps with ease. But, holy smokes was there a din in there. I have not been to a place that loud, and it was just loud based on the number of people and the friendliness of the group. I saw several parties brining in pizza and fast food to have with their brews. I will be back, but next time I’m going to check the Accela schedule first, the whole place shook when it flew by and scared the hiccups into me.

I have been coming here for many years. It is my favorite place to have a GREAT beer. Some sandwiches are offered. there is a fantastic sandwich shop next door that is open 11:00 to 3:00 Mon-Fri and you can bring your meal with you to the bar. Also they don’t mind you ordering a pizza delivered for you and your party. All staff is cheerful and helpful. That being said some are not knee deep into craft beer but still willing to help. Plenty of strong ale on tap here, big IPA’s, Belgians, Barlywines etc. There is also great bottle beer selection in the cooler. closed Sun but any night(or day) is a good time. I have to add two things. one. they now take credit cards two. not mentioned by other reviews is the fact that they offer samplers.

My favorite bar is Rhode Island! This quaint pub is anything but fancy but has this best beer selection around at the cheapest prices! You can’t really beat it. They let you sample a beer first before you buy a pint which is nice if you want to try a new beer or two… or three. They give free popcorn too!

If you’re staying at a hotel with«Airport» in the name, you’re about five minutes away from great beer. If you’re like me, a refugee from the trash-lined streets of the West Side of Providence who fled to Warwick, this is your local. Turn onto Kilvert at the Wendy’s on Post Road and find it at the end on the left. There’s plenty of parking in back. Come here and you’ll find a beer selection like Julian’s without the hipster vibe and city pricing. You will get a proper pour in a glass specific to your selection. Unless you order a Coors Light, which will be in a brown bottle. No crap on tap here. I’ve been coming here since back in 2007 when I was studying at CCRI, and somebody in my business class group project(which was a business plan for a bar/restaurant) asked if I wanted to grab a good beer. That was the beginning of my journey in beer appreciation, and I keep coming again to find out what Dave’s got on tap. The place has changed since Andrew B’s 2007 review. There are nice pub tables in the floor area now, along with 2 dart boards. They have fresh popcorn, no more in-shell peanuts madness. I’ve never seen anyone order food here, but I have seen people sitting at the bar eating a pizza from Pizza King. One thing that hasn’t changed is the male-female ratio, but this isn’t exactly a karaōke and shots place. It’s a beer place and it attracts a nice mix of smart, professional people. I’ll summarize it this way: If you’re a Pauly D, you slam back Jagerbombs and Bud Light bottles while yelling at everyone at Tavern 12. If you’re a Don Draper, you enjoy a satisfying beverage and good conversation with your contemporaries in the low-key comfort of Track 84.

My man’s work friend took us here. When we pulled in, we were a little skeptical. But then when we walked in the door, it was like we walked into a beer heaven. Delirium Tremens(love that pink elephant) and Gulden Draak both on tap! Wish we knew about this place sooner when we lived in the Warwick area. FYI, cash only. If you like good beer, drink here!

I was slack-jawed when I first walked it. The sheer volume of decorative beer bottles and taps lining the walls showed me that they are serious about beer. This place is on a dead end road next to train tracks and an airport, prime dive bar location. Upon scanning that days beer list I ordered a sour beer becuase I rarely see them at other bars I go to. The bartender asked if I had ever had it before and when I said no he offered me a taste. I liked it, he explained that he felt that it was sour but really didn’t have anything else going on. He then poured me another sampling and offered it up. It was another sour beer, but with a variety of flavors going on. I was hooked. My guest requested hard cider and was offered a choice of six different varieties. We were also offered some great free pop corn and had a wonderful time talking with the other patrons about the history of the bar. Most of the clientele are people over the age of forty which might be a little unexpected if your used to going to hip beer places in Providence, however it shouldn’t deter you. The people are super friendly and you can tell they are really enjoying themselves. FYI there is a sign behind the bar that reads«NOSHOTS» When I asked about it I was told that it’s just how the owner wants it and that it cuts down on problems. Personally, I’m a fan of it.

Friends and I really enjoyed going. It’s a weird Frankenstein mix. The bar says«Dive» but the selections say«High End.» If you like good beer, drink here.

Congratulations Track 84, you’ve earned my 5 stars. I’ve been here a number of times since my initial review, and I absolutely love it here now. Yes it’s cash only, yes it’s a little dive-y, yes there isn’t much to do other than to sit around and drink fine craft brews… wait, so what’s the problem? I usually have a couple beers and then head to Shannon View for dinner, but I think the next time I might order a sandwich from the deli next door and have them deliver it.

Came here when spending the night in the area for an event. Someone local suggested Track 84 and we thought — why not? I was really impressed on what I found on the inside based on the outside & location. Literally — next to the train tracks. For a dive bar the setup is really smart — there is a long counter behind(or in front of I suppose) the bar that accommodates standers on both sides. It never felt like someone was going to breath into my beer. +1 star for you. That being said — the selection was intense. So many options and as a person into drinking craft beer — I was impressed. The bartenders were also very laid back and willing to give great and spot-on suggestions. If for some reason I find myself traveling through again — I’ll definitely stop by.

I was legitimately frightened with I pulled up to this place on a cool and dark Friday afternoon. I’m down with sketchy places, but this area is seriously where one would go to dump a body. Location and logistics aside, SOLID dive. I don’t know how the owner managed to get these microbrews. Seriously awesome. If you like beer, you NEED to get your butt to Track 84. The décor is what you would expect from a dive bar – license plates on the wall, loud jukebox, ridiculous rip-off ATM, wall of dartboards, and worn furniture. Bartenders are friendly, knowledgable, and strict with IDs(always appreciated). Worth a trip!

Track 84 is not your average dive bar. The service is exceptional — 3 different bartenders on 3 different nights have asked my name and personally introduced themselves. The value is exceptional — free popcorn, cheap/rare microbrews, and usually free soft drinks, too! And the beer list will stop you dead in your tracks! Ha! Tracks! Get it? And each visit to Track 84 feels like an intrepid adventure into the back streets of a most unglamorous section of Warwick. Nestled between the railroad tracks and Post Road across from the airport, it feels magical walking into this friendly, craft beer-laden haven time and time again. I haven’t yet made the trek from Providence JUST for a beer, or 4, but I am always more than willing to pick up people at the airport these days if it means I get to try the latest batch-o-brew at Track 84! I simply love it here. Perfect place to watch a game. To sip delicious craft beer without any pretension. To chat with strangers. To play a round of cards. And did I mention sipping delicious craft beer without any pretension?

I don’t mind a good dive bar, actually I quite prefer them. But I wasn’t too keen on this place. Their beer selection is awesome but the bar itself looks run down and there is barely any seating. Went here with a group of friends and we got our first beer only to realize there was nowhere to sit and nothing to do. No pool tables, darts, anything. So we basically stood in a circle near the bar trying to finish our beer as fast as possible so we could go somewhere where we could actually sit down. Also, not that I care, the crowd was little older than the group of 20-somethings we had.
