the food isn’t half bad for the price, but the staff made dining in unpalatable! incredibly unprofessional behavior and conduct will keep me from ever returning.

There were a few years where I would have Pei Wei’s at least once a week for lunch. Planning ahead, I would order the smaller portioned lower calorie options, cooked stock-velveted and served without rice. I liked the crunchy broccoli with thick slices of beef, the tasty honey-seared shrimp, and the spicy orange peel shrimp. The latter was my go-to for a happy, happy lunch. Even though they were prepared differently than the norm, they made for a delicious lunch. Tonight, however, I thought to try out the sushi rolls. I ordered all 5 rolls(4 pieces each) thinking that they would make a nice sampler. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the straight-out of the fridge, grocery-store quality, small size rolls. The rolls were cold and the rice was gummy. After sampling each, I had enough and decided to fill up on the fortune cookies, instead. The rating is for the many, many better meals that I’ve had at Pei Wei, instead of this one regrettable sushi dinner.

This location does a good job. I’ve come here a few times, and I’ve always been pleased with the quality of the food and the promptness of the service. The restaurant is always in good shape, clean and ready to be used. The music isn’t too loud either, which is nice since it is in some of the other locations. Definitely recommend this location!

It’s a Chinese style chain restaurant. You place your order at the counter, pay, and they bring it to your table. My don-don noodles were good, just the right portion size, and with delicious sauce. As long as you realize that it’s a fast food place, not a «real» restaurant, and adjust your expectations accordingly, you won’t be disappointed.

They have revamped their menus and I like the variety rather than the standard Chinese /Japanese restaurant. Kids like the chicken teriyaki. Fair on the sushi. Noodles good too. The ambience is nice.

Tonight was a very disappointing experience. It was around 9:20pm when my friends and I decided to get something to eat from Pei Wei. Knowing that they close at 10pm, we decided to order carryout instead of dining in. My friend was near the location so she and her fiancé ordered their food there, while my boyfriend and I ordered our food online because we were 15 minutes away. When we got there we were not greeted by a kind salutation, but a rude and unwelcoming female cashier. When we gave her our confirmation order she told us that there were no orders in the system. She and the cooks said to us that we «did it wrong.» So I repeated that I had the email with the confirmation as proof that I completed my online order, but she and her coworkers still claimed, «you still did it wrong.» After that I said, «okay, can I just order now?» She then cut me off with an attitude and said«What do you want?!» I tried to be reasonable and just order, but her tone and attitude were completely off putting. My friends seeing that I was being treated unjustly, confronted her about her attitude and decided to ask for a refund and ask to see the manager. She rolled her eyes and stormed off and said that she didn’t care and got the manager. My friends then told me that before we came in, that same worker even gave them an attitude and went as far as hanging up the phone on another customer while they were attempting to order, just because she«couldn’t hear them.» I understand that it was close to closing time and after a long day, people do want to go home, but working in a customer service industry, you should never treat your customers like that. After she got the manager, he came out and started the refund process for my friends and that worker rolled her eyes and started gossiping about us to the other workers, in front of us, when we can clearly hear her. My friend confronted her rudeness again and asked her why she was rolling her eyes and she discourteously said«because I can». The manager Mike only said«hey, cut it out». He didn’t really apologize on the behalf of his poorly trained staff. I can’t even call it a lack luster condolence. When I asked the manager for the female worker’s name he said«uhh, we call her ‘Jo.’ I don’t really know her name». Seriously?! How can the manager not know his teammates name? I’m assuming he refused to divulge that information to our simple inquiry as a poor attempt to cover for his teammate’s attitude problem. Honestly, she shouldn’t even be working at all with that kind of attitude. I cannot understand how she was even able to get a job with such poor people skills. I love Pei Wei’s food, but I will never go back to this location. I highly suggest that if anyone else that does go here, avoid the night shift employees, they’re incompetent and unprofessional.

Was not happy with anything that I’ve ordered from here. I used to work in the area, so I tried this place a couple times because of convenience. I ordered the Spring Rolls a couple times, the Fried Rice, and the lo mein at least once and was disappointed with all.

I never write any reviews, on any website for anything, this is first time ever i am posting review on Unilocal because i thought management and other people needs to know what a horrible place this is to get food. I ordered lettuce wrap, Kung pao Chicken and Pei Wei spicy chicken. There was small stone in lettuce wrap so we did not eat once it was discovered. Pei wei spicy chicken had few pieces of chicken which were for sure not chicken some kind of spongy texture. I have had bad experience with pei wei before but never something like this. I will never and i mean never get any food from these people, i have been going to Pf Changs for years and this restaurant is backed by them is shocking. People please do not eat here, spend more money and get carry out from Pf Changs

Adam? The kitchen manager was so thoughtful to my companion that had never eaten at a PeiWei and needed gluten free. The extra service made her feel special. The food was fine and the location is always tidy. Thanks for going the extra mile for a friend.

You know, I used to love pei wei, but over the years the quality of the food has declined! I ordered 3 orders of Kung pao chicken over noodles, tonight and let me tell you I was disappointed! Chicken was overly seasoned. Noodles were dry. In one of the orders, there was a package wrapper in the dish. That was nasty. I really hope they get new management and revamp the food. I will not give it another chance. Bye bye Pei Wei!

Quick service but wasn’t impressed with flavor. Decore and presentation was good. Flavor wasn’t as good as it usually would be at a PF Chang’s. It’s ok as an affordable lunch meal of about $ 10 for a full size meal.

I decided to get two sushi rolls off their new«fresh menu». When they brought the first roll they told me they were out of the other roll and the one they did bring out did not look at all appetizing. The manager did offer to refund us for the roll that we were missing and provided a gift card. When I head back I will update my review. But from what I can tell, I would stick with the traditional Pei Wei food until they can get there new menu figured out.

Awesome vegetarian options. You can order tofu and veggies instead of meat with any meal and I think it’s some of the best. My daughter never even notices.(Hehe) Their not a restaurant per-say. It’s more like panera or cosi, where you order and pay, then wait at a table with a number. They are a little expensive for me, $ 7 for a meal, but it is filling, sometimes I have leftovers. They are clean, quick, I keep their take-out menu at home. I would give 5 stars if they were a little cheaper

I stopped at Pei Wei for a takeout order while working out of town. For about $ 11 I got a small order of the spicy thai chicken, a pork egg roll & a beverage. My food was cooked fresh and quite quickly, under 10 minutes. The service was fine, but nothing to write home about. When I got back to my hotel the food was satisfying & just the right amount without being too filling, but all in all just ok. The chicken was fried crisp and tossed in a sauce that for being called ‘spicy’ was quite mild. I was a little disappointed that there weren’t more veggies(you can add more veggies & meat for a small fee) — but what was there was crisp & definitely fresh. The egg roll didn’t hold up too well — but had a nice flavor. While the pop machine was one of the Coke machines with a million combinations, I opted for the mandarin green tea that was in the dispenser next to the pop machine & enjoyed my choice. I would definitely go back for a quick, fresh & fairly inexpensive take out if in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. It seems like the type of place everything would be decent to order, but no real standouts.

I have been meaning to give this restaurant another try ever since I had a bad experience a few years ago, and tonight I did. Upon entering, nobody acknowledged my presence, and all employees seemed bored. After a few minutes of looking at the menu, I was ready to order. When attempting ordering, the cashier(Ashley), was very rude, and pushy. She made me feel as though I was annoying because I didn’t know the menu like the back of my hand. When I asked a question, she gave me a quick and snippy response. Needless to say the service was far from welcoming. After ordering I took a seat, and only waited a few minutes for my food, which impressed me. I ordered the Chicken with Pei Wei spice. Good portion and good taste. Thumbs up on the food. Overall I give this experience 3 stars. Improve your customer service and hire some employees that want to work rather than talk and you might be pushing for that 5 stars Pei Wei!

I have been here many times, never dined in, always take out. Take out seems to be busy no matter what time of the day it is. I see some complaints in the reviews but me personally I have never had one. Always a good experience. Except tonite the cashier was a little snotty. Me and my daughter went in to order carryout instead of calling it in. Waited for about 10 mins if that. I had the pei wei spicy which is my favorite. Not really spicy at all but I love it. My daughter had the kids honey chicken seared with white rice. Which is my 2nd go to favorite. She loved her meal and used chopsticks too! So yeah its not PF Changs, but I think it’s deliciously priced if you can’t afford PF Changs or don’t want to eat at your«typical» chinese place. Of coarse I will be back again! Duh!

I feel like the only person who hasn’t been to Pei Wei. I’ve had many friends and coworkers rave about this place, so when I finally made it here, I was ready for a treat. Meh — it was alright. I got a coconut curry shrimp over brown rice, and also sampled some of my boyfriend’s Mongolian chicken. Both dishes were good, but nothing I felt was particularly special. And I get it, this is basically the fast food version of PF Chang’s, it’s not supposed to be fancy. But I dunno. It was just ok. The décor is a little confusing, it’s like they’re half trying to be a nice restaurant and half very much fast food-looking. Pick a lane, folks. The portions were big enough for us both to have leftovers for the next day, which is good. I think had Pei Wei not been so hyped up for me, I may have not felt so let down. But it is what it is… and Pei Wei isn’t really a place I’ll be going out of my way to return to.

Ehhh. Not impressed. I have had pei wei before but don’t remember it being this bad. I had a buy one get one free coupon that’s the only reason I went here. I ordered the coconut curry shrimp w/brown rice. It’s bland and flavorless. The veggies even taste funny. Also got dynamite thai w/shrimp and brown rice. The shrimp tastes good but the rest(veggies and rice) flavorless, dry and not tasteful. If I go back I will try something else, maybe a noodle bowl. But I don’t plan to run back anytime soon.

My mom has been trying to get me to this place for years and I finally relented. She knew there was a 50⁄50 chance of me liking it since I’m very picky about having my Chinese food the American way, I like it simple and good. Unfortunately this is Asian Fusion and I hated it. There were unidentifiable flavors that I just couldn’t get on board with. First I tried their Crab Wantons and let’s just say I’ve had much better. They were a little overcooked so slightly burned and the insides weren’t creamy at all. The part I was really unhappy with was the way they served them, sitting in sauce, whether you wanted it or not. I prefer it on the side because the sauce should be an option not forced on me. The sauce was okay but not great, a bit too spicy for crab wantons anyway. This was by far the best thing I tried and I stopped at one. The eggroll was dripping with grease and that was before I squeezed out the excess. I wasn’t sure if I didn’t like the sauce or the eggroll but after I tried the eggroll without the sauce I realized it was both. I got the Mandarin Kung Pao Chicken, normally one of my favorites, but I couldn’t get past the weird flavor that was so off putting. I ended up packing it up since my mom said she’d eat it as a snack later. Lastly, I tried a bit of my mom’s chicken wrap and although she says it was chicken I couldn’t identify it by taste and the sauce was just brutal. If Asian fusion is your thing, I guess check it out, but if it’s not, steer clear. The only thing I can say is that the portions were big and looked pretty but that doesn’t do you any good if you think it’s disgusting like I did.
