I’m not from the area and when my family said we were going to Cozy Cabin for lunch I immediately checked out Unilocal because I had no idea what it was. From the few reviews I read, it was obvious most people come here for breakfast. It was nearly one in the afternoon and breakfast was outta the question! The menu is very large but prices are fair for the quantity of food you receive. Typical family dinner food. I ordered breasted chicken while the rest of my group ordered breakfast and sandwiches. My meal came with soup/salad/Cole slaw option(pick one) My meal came out several minutes after the rest of the family. We watched my food sit in the window for awhile. My chicken was decent. Definitely not the best broasted chicken I had. Chicken was juicy but the breading was crunchy and hard. Broasted potatoes were also hard. Everyone enjoyed their meals and I would likely comeback and try something different. Restaurant is a little dated with décor and old tables and carpeting. Waitress stayed on top with refills.

My wife sent me out for carry-out breakfast. We wanted to try something new and found Cozy Cabin here on Unilocal. We live nearby, but never took a peek down 12 mile for places to eat for some reason. We ordered a Greek Omelet for the Mrs. and a Rooster Omelet for my twin boys. I combed the menu for my favorite thing, Eggs Benedict, and didn’t see it. I said, «No eggs benedict, eh?» and the nice lady said«We have eggs benedict.» Cool! Order was made and bagged in a reasonable time, brought it home, and then the angels sang. Let’s start with the kids. We’re talking about 23.5 year-old boys. Getting them to eat anything is a frustrating task. However, the boys needed no convincing after the first bite. I walked away and half their plates were gone a short while later. The Mrs and the Greek: «One of the best Omelets I’ve had. Every bite had meat, fresh veggies and great gyro flavor.» I had a bite after she was full and it had gone cold, and I was still impressed at how tasty it was. But this Eggs Benedict… TRANSCENDANT. I thought I’d had the perfect Eggs B at Charlie’s a few miles west, but really… I just didn’t know it could get better. Eggs B was NOT on the menu, but I had inquired and she said they have it. She did NOT do the subtle guilt thing, like«Well…(long sigh) it’s not on the menu, but…» or the«I can ask the chef if he’s willing to make it…» just I had asked and she said YES. That’s pro, that’s service. Making ME feel comfortable and that my inquiry was routine and so not a problem that nobody had to think twice. I’m guessing the chef had to make the sauce from scratch, right on the spot. I’m also guessing nobody has ever done that for me before based on the results. The flavor was deep, robust and electric. The menu says they are using AA grade Eggs. AA eggs are fresher than A grade eggs. It’s a difference you can taste immediately. If you’re like me, you’ve been wondering what’s happened to eggs in the last 30 years… they used to be so delicious and savory, but have become drab and flavorless. The difference is you and I are constantly buying A grade instead of AA. These AA eggs have the flavor you remember as a kid. For all of this culinary wizardry and care, the prices were totally competitive with places that charge the same or more for less. Back track: I forgot to mention… the first bite I took was the hash browns. EVEN These were better than anywhere I’ve been. Cooked just right, browned on top, soft and fluffy on the inside… not too crispy, not soggy and void of that unpleasant earthy flavor but, instead, packed with a buttery goodness. I ate almost all of them on the spot before even moving on to the main course, that’s how good they were. usually I end up discarding half of hash browns from other places. In conclusion: EATHERE. Run, do not walk, to this place. Seriously, are you not there yet?

Very good if you’re looking for the traditional American Big Breakfast. Lunch was good too. The interior décor is in keeping with the name ‘Cosy Cabin’. Just like the up north diners from the ’60’s.

I have been here a fair amount of times and the food has always been good quality and had generous portions. This time though, the first thing we noticed when being escorted to our table was how absolutely FILTHY the floors were!!! I am not talking some staining. It’s carpet, I get that it’s hard to keep stains off, but the crumbs and food and various wrappers are unnacceptable. It has never been that busy to where I could understand nobody has had the time to notice/stop and pick it up and vacuum the floors. The employees were all just walking right over it and ignoring it. This is NOT what I want to be looking at as I eat my food that I’m PAYING for. Like I said in the beginning, the food has always been good and hasn’t given me anything bad to say. Seeing the absolute neglect of cleanliness has left me considering whether or not I will return in the future. Which is a shame because this place has potential.

I have a few favorite breakfast restaurants, and this is certainly one of them. The portions are big, the quality is good, and the prices are extremely reasonable. One way that I qualitatively compare restaurants is by their greek omelette. And this place has a righteous greek omelette — big, with plenty of spinach, tomato, onions, and gyro meat, and HEAPS of feta. They lose marks for the corned beef hash, though. Cozy Cabin, It’s not that hard to make corned beef hash. Seriously, middle schoolers can pull it off. There’s no need to resort to that canned stuff. The décor is «cabin kitchy,» and the service is consistently good. Dirty tables remain so for no longer than a minute or two after the patron has left. I never see the bottom of my coffee cup. And, unless I’ve placed my order behind a large table full of people, the food arrives quickly and piping hot.

This place needs serious renovation. It used to be nice but is looking pretty run down and is dirty. Used to be great years back.

This place is the best restaurant in warren by far!!! Amazing atmosphere, the staff is superb. Everyone was so welcoming and sweet. It literally felt like being in a family cabin. The food was excellent. I’ve been back, every time I’m in town visiting from Los Angeles. It’s a must try, if you’re around this area. A++ Cozy Cabin

Meh! The beef barley soup was great! The hot roast beef sandwich, fatty & the gravy was WAY too peppery for the little bit I got. The mashed potatoes were a glob of potatoes that had been smashed up, not creamy but super salty. WARNING: we went with an Entertainment Book coupon. They did take it after some convincing but said they weren’t supposed to be in the Book this year so they reluctantly took it. Quite embarrassing.

A 2– 3 rating dependiing if you order Breakfast items then 3+ — lunch and dinner items 2 – 3 — ok but nothing to rave about — except the soup — the soup is usually excellent — at lunch time for the price there are better options — the pita sandwiches are good. Old looking decour — could use a freshining up. Seems to be a one price menu so the value is better for dinner.

This place sucks. Cream of broccoli soup tastes like it’s made entirely of condensed soup. The macaroni and cheese was ice cold and I would have to say that kraft mac and cheese out of the box would’ve been ten times better. The service was just ok.

Solid diner food, good breakfasts, and it’s close by, all the things I like in a restaurant! The staff is friendly, and the prices are pretty decent. I love their hashbrowns, and they have seedless rye! Yay! If you order corned beef hash though, beware, it’s the canned thunk kind. /Breakfast!

This place is literally 5 minute drive from my house, and I haven’t been here until today. It’s like I stepped into a time machine… or a movie set. You know those diners that you see in movies or TV shows where people meet for coffee? Or meet for some«questionable» transactions? Yeah, this is like that place. They have a lot of strange looking décor that is quite visually unappealing, but it’s placed out of direct eyesight so it’s no bother. The breakfast deals are from 7 – 11 am, but after that they still have some pretty good prices on breakfast. The sausages here are quite bomb-tastic, and not too salty(which is good). Overall, it’s like a Denny’s or Ramshorn, but not a chain. The food is standard fare, but what can you expect from an American diner? At a certain point, it’s the same. I havent tried anything besides the breakfast eggs, sausages and pancakes, but it’s not bad. Overall, I’d come back to try the rest of the menu, but I’m in no hurry.

This is our normal Saturday morning breakfast diner. I normally order a egg white veggie Omelette no cheese, dry wheat toasts, hash browns with coffee and so far the waitress never gets it wrong. Yes it is a lot of food for very reasonable price. It tastes really good. You get unlimited coffee! What else do you want on Saturday morning. Wait staff is really good here. When your done with eating, plates are quickly cleared off of your table.

Looking for a cheap place to get some breakfast, this is the place to go. I don’t typically eat a lot so I got the cabin mini special. It came with 2 eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, and toast for around $ 3. Can’t beat that price as far as i’m concerned. Food was good, as was service. I’ll be back.

The true hallmark of the American style restaurant is the breakfast menu. Some places just cannot get it right, offering small, awful specials like 1 egg, 2 sausage, and toast. C’mon, this isn’t Canada, let those portions get unhealthy and out of control. I always look for that«Big» breakfast special on the menu. Cozy Cabin has it and it’s real cheap. If you can get me 30,000 eggs, bacon with a gross weight of the pig it came from, a mountain of hash browns, and toast for five dollars, you have a customer for life. There truly is nothing like a big breakfast. Just a great place to hide in a booth, and obnoxiously devour your food while you try to forget how hungover you are. It’s the Warren way.

Another traditional American family restaurant. I’ve only been for breakfast and when you’re just lookin’ for two eggs over easy and a side o’ meat, you really can’t go wrong here. Super affordable large breakfasts($ 4.99 for two eggs, wheat toast, 4 strips of bacon, 3 small pancakes) and a fairly decent sized breakfast menu including sweet and savory selections that they serve anytime. We’ve been going here for years now, since it’s pretty close to our house and we’ve never had to wait to be seated. They still allow smoking in the restaurant, so I inevitably can always smell a little bit of smoke on me when I leave, no matter how far I’m sitting away from the one smoker in the place. That will obviously be changing soon though. Their menu appears to have a wide variety of lunch and dinner options as well, I’ve just never partaken. So, in summary, for a quick, nothing fancy breakfast, this place is great! If you’re looking for high-quality ingredients and the fancy eggs benny and stuffed french toasts and all that, this place isn’t for you.
