So its my first time eating here since it was the Clock Resturant years ago… Ordered a western omolet to go. pretty good Omolet full of toppings like, ham, cheese, onion, tomatoes and green pepper, came with hashbrowns and toast. The potatoes wefe a little dry and crusty from sitting warm on the grille, they were OK but I would prefer fresh grilled, next time I’ll ask. I know its hard to gauge the grille with something like for breakfast rush and I was there around noon. I get that. So next time I’ll just ask. Over all pretty good place. Looked very clean and the staff was friendley… too bad they got rid of those juke boxs in each booth. I can still remember being there at 2:00 am putting my quarters in there and here the tune. We’re an American Band by Grand Funk Railroad, a couple bad company tunes along with some Aerosmith. Man. Those were the days my friend… those were the days…

Wonderful staff and owner. Always get huge portions and you can’t beat the price! My husband and I always order the country omelet and add a few goodies, which they are always willing to comply. They are very concerned about your happiness with what you receive.
I even went up to compliment the chef and staff and the owner was so concerned that I was gonna complain that before I could start he was offering me a new omelet or my money back. When I told them all I just wanted to compliment everyone from the chef, waitresses and the owner they were so happy, relieved and very appreciative they all thanked me over and over. It was sweet. They are good people, doing a great job and people don’t seem to compliment as much as complain. Its SAD.

Turkey Club minus tomato is why I’m writing this review. Got it as an add on for a midnight snack and it did not disappoint! Went full Beast Mode on it after tasting that delicious Bacon and thick sliced Turkey. Seriously a great sandwich.
Also had the Bacon and Egg Burger just before my life altering Turkey Club. It was delicious as well in case you were wondering.
The service was quick, friendly and food was excellent. This was our third or fourth visit and have yet to try something we didn’t enjoy.
Great job all around. Worth a visit for sure!

The food is good but the waitress there is a impatient person who wants you to eat your food and GTFO of her restaurant. Additionally my guess would be that English is not her first language which I have no problem with since its not mine either but for gods sake be patient while people order. give a guy a refill every once in a while…

Food is always great but I usually just call in carry out since I live in the lake community next door.
My only complaint (they would have received 5 stars) is every time I call in to place a order, the women on the phone is extremely rude! I literally wanted to ask her if she ever had any formal telephone training. Customer service starts from the first point of contact! Please management, train the staff that answers the phone.

Been here several times in the past few weeks, gyro is good salads are fresh and have plenty of toppings.
There omelette’s are excellent the way an omelette should be made stuffed with ingredients, and the egg is NOT over cooked and brown it is done just right… And the staff has always been curtious and helpful…
Would recommend over any of the other near by coney place…

Been coming here since it was the big apple. Kind of stopped for a while when it changed owners so I thought I would try it again.
Had breakfast (simple scrambled eggs with bacon and hash). Very disappointed. Tasteless eggs, what appears to be pre packaged tasteless bacon, and raw hash browns).
Guess I will continue to stay away. Sad cuz this location is iconic.
Extra star because wait staff was great and coffee was good.

Wow! This place is busy! The waitress was on top of everything without having customers wait. The food was excellent. Found my new breakfast spot.

Even when this place is busy, the food comes fast. Breakfast, lunch, it’s all good. I like the breakfast with eggs, hash browns, and toast, other half likes biscuits and gravy. For lunch we sometimes get Greek salads, sometimes gyros and chili cheese fries. No complaints here!

Food was ok., wait staff is a joke, once my food was delivered to my table, the waitress never rwturned to ask if everything was ok or for that matter just never returned. Turned around to look for her to get my bill and shes eating and talking on her cell phone. Went back the other day thought maybe just a bad day ordered a club sandwich, got my food, waitress never came back had to go to counter to pay bill then stood there for 5 min waiting while they all stood at the end of the counter talking to a customer. As i said food was ok, however if you want an attwntive waitress who is going to actually work for her tip, then this is not the place to eat. Pretty sad.

Good portions and the food was great, but very uncomfortable. There was a very cold draft coming from the kitchen. We didn’t get water refills and the toast was late for everyone and mixed up. Otherwise nice place!

I’ve been going here with my wife and kids since they opened. Their breakfast specials can’t be beat. Couple that with the friendly service and pleasant atmosphere and you have a winning combination. I think I’ll grab some breakfast right now!

Just had the #5 with grits. Excellent as usual. The service is quick and the food is always good. Try an omelet or the steak and eggs for breakfast and a coney for lunch. Will warm you all up.

Great Coney island. I’ve been going to L Georges for years. You always get good service and good food. Today I got the Greek Salad and Gyro, all were very tasty.

Pleasantly surprised.
This place has turn over a couple of times the past couple of years. This was a breakfast place with a Cooney island specialty, and not even the best in town or even remarkable. But the new ownership has step it up, and its a very busy place, breakfast, lunch an dinner.
It is a diner, with a good size menu, breakfast and sandwiches/​burgers, with a focus on the daily dinner specials. Breakfast is probably you best meal, but we went for dinner and every table and booth was filled.
Prices are good and the food is good — everything fried. I had the fish and chips was a generous serving with good quality food, the wife had Salmon.
Even with a full house, a salad and main entry, we were in and out in just over 30 minutes.

Stopped in for lunch with the kids while waiting for my car to be serviced next door. For myself & two kids, it was $ 11! And they were incredibly quick! We all had breakfast items & the portions were generous. We’ll be back sometime!

Fast service, fills up on Sundays! My husband and I come here quite often for Sunday brunch and have always been greeted with friendly and fast service. The food is traditional diner type food, but the restaurant recently got a serious face lift! Great place for a quick bite!
