Jenni’s Restaurant

Tried for the first time after living in the area for a few years. Realized pretty quickly why we’d never been. The waitress put in our orders however they seemed to make sense to her. Ordered a full French toast to spilt, she put in two halve pieces with one of our meals to save us money. (That meal also included ham and an extra egg.) Leaving us with one piece of French toast to split between the two of us and ham and an egg that no one was going to eat. I’ve been serving for years & as a server you should know better. Please ask your guests previous to changing their order if that’d be alright. Some may say yes, but others may actually want what they ordered.
The food was ok, but nothing to right home about. We were the only people in the building besides the 4 or 5 loudly gossiping waitresses, I understand it’s slow but please go to the back to have group conversations.

Don’t bother eating here unless you want rude service.

Why do I have to even have to leave 1 star? On a Friday morning around 10:30, my daughter, son, and I arrived to a pretty empty restaurant as a table of customers where leaving. The bus boy greeted us and gave us menus as the waitress collected the departing customer’s money. The waitress then disappeared. More than 10 minutes passed, no waitress, no drinks, no orders taken. I really didn’t want to leave so we waited a few more minutes to no avail. Still no waitress. I had enough and we got to going. As we were leaving, behind us, I heard a woman laughing, guess who it was…

This is my go to place for a gyro and fries or a good corn beef hash breakfast so good.

Excellent corned beef hash. We call ahead sometimes to see if the hash is being cooked that day.
Today I got biscuits and gravy because they didn’t have the corned beef hash. Pretty good. But not as good as the hash.

Amazing Breakfast! The corned beef omelette is to die for! Great service, relaxing place to have Sunday brunch! Highly recommend!

Consistently good food. Friendly staff, good menu. My favorite is the Michigan Salad.

The breakfast is ok at this place. Today I got a steak sandwhich and lemon rice soup. The sandwhich was good but the lemon rice soup wasnt tasty and was cold.

Excellent? Great? Really? I’ve driven by this place several times but had never eaten here, so decided to try it last weekend for dinner. I was hoping to find a «hidden» gem, but I’d go more with greasy spoon café. Ok, the cheese sticks were awesome, but the fish and chips special was not very special, and the pancakes my daughter ordered were also just average. This is the kind of restaurant I want to see do well, but I think they need to shrink the ~200 item menu down to something more manageable and focus on making a few things great. Maybe the trick is to go for breakfast…

This is an excellent family diner. All meals are excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The service is prompt and friendly

This place is GREAT! As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted several times. One we were seated there was quick and attentive service. The food was amazing and the service was great. A+ to the staff, both front and back of the house. Great diner style restaurant.

Tried it for the first time this morning for breakfast. The portions were huge and tasted great. For a family of four it was the same price as McDonald’s — plus we had a pretty good amount of leftovers. The kids loved the pancakes.
We found our new breakfast spot for sure.

finally someone at Unilocal paid attention and changed the name. Other than that Its Not Middle eastern food by a long shot … its basic Breakfast/​Lunch/​Dinner American style.
Stopped by this morning for Breakfast on way home from work last night.
The place is fairly empty however the usual people I see in the AM during a weekday are there. Always seem to see the same Walled Lake Police guy, and always seem the same 4 contractors there. I took my seat near the window with a newspaper to read.
Waitress brought me my usual ice water and gave me a moment to decide. The Three things I love about Jenni’s are — Prices, Service, and Food availability… Prices for Breakfast are very reasonable, you can get a full traditional Egg breakfast for less than $ 4 including Tip. Service — the 1 or 2 waiters will Learn your name/​orders if you come more than a few times. I don’t stop by more than Once a month now and the 2 or 3 ladies working there all seem to know me which is great. Food availability — pretty much anything on the Menu is available anytime. I’ve eaten Turkey Dinners at 9am there before.
Today I got the regular #2 special — 2 eggs over hard, crispy hash browns, wheat toast, bacon. Only issue I had today was the way the eggs were cooked… they only gave me 1, so I had to get the waiter to get me the 2^nd one. The cook claimed they had given me 2, but it looked like just 1 egg. Ok sorry, but if I only ordered 1 egg then they better charge me for 1.
The Toast is dry. I prefer Pita bread but they charge an extra 75cents. I was Cheap today, so I stuck with the dry toast which wasn’t all that interesting. As usual they gave me more Food than I can even eat. Its not worth much taking it home either.
When it gets busy in there they tend to forget you are there and don’t refill your beverage as often as I’d like.
Still can’t beat Breakfast for $ 3.86! and I got time to sit, read a paper and stretch a little before I headed home.

Our extended family occasionally meets at Jenni’s for breakfast. Jenny’s breakfast specials are cheap and the food is OK, but the coffee here is so downright undrinkable that I can’t recommend it.

Good food great value; my husband & I have had dinner for under $ 13 for the both of us! Good home cooked meals, great salads, good breakfasts & delicious deserts. The staff is warm & friendly, service great! My favorite place to go when i don’t feel like cooking :0)
