Two years ago my boyfriend and I came here everyday for coffee. It was the best coffee in town and now it’s handedly the worst. It’s just super watered down? And it’s always sort of tepid. Like I said, we were there daily and then the staff changed and the coffee just got straight BAD. I still love the food. The macaroons are delicious! And the bagels are decent, best in town but not amazing. I normally order the quiche but I went a lot more often when we could also get good coffee. But now we skip it. The coffee is just so remarkably bad.

Step 1. Go to Walla Wall Bread Company Step 2. Order ANYTHING(preferably a sandwich) Step 3. Enjoy Step 4. Thank me later. Seriously. This place– doesn’t have a bad thing. The atmosphere is great, the people are nice, just… go. Just go and eat sandwiches for days or eat bakery or buy bread or my preferred option: all of the above. Just go.

Just had my first loaf of their multigrain bread. It was some of the best bread I have eaten. I will be back for more!

Seriously good bread makes extraordinary sandwiches. Great neighborhood bakery with a range of fresh bread, goodies and scones. Hot and cold sandwiches available along with daily soup specials.

I was SO disappointed after eating here! I ordered the hot ham and cheese sandwich and it came with some awful sweet cream stuff slopped on top, a pathetic«salad» that only had 2 pcs of romaine lettuce and vinegar soaked cucumbers… yuck no thank you! Plus the price I paid for it was ridiculously high for what I was given! Will not ever come back here to eat again!

Ohmygosh I wish this place was in my town! They make a daily bread, I happened to go in on Thursday when the daily bread is Chocolate Cherry bread! It was the BEST dessert bread I’ve ever had! They also had plenty of selection of freshly baked bread and pastries. I also had a macaroon, the texture was completely wrong as well as proportion. I’m pretty sure a french person would not recognize their macaroons as macaroons. So as long as you stay clear of the macaroons this place is pretty fabulous!

Excellent! The bread in the window and the smell of fresh bread is what drew us in. What a great choice. The actual space is limited to 4 or 5 tables, but the bread is mmmm, mmmm tasty. They have a great selection of various pastries and sandwich options. People were also very friendly, defiantly worthy your visit.

Excellent bread and great sandwiches. They produce crusty European style rustic breads. It’s a little small for many people to eat in the restaurant but they do have some outdoor seating in the sidewalk for the warm weather. Salads are also good and they have some sweet treats as well. They have a stand at the farmers market where I pick up a loaf from time to time.

Been a year since we were in Walla Walla and it was nice to find the quality at WW Bakery has been maintained. We still love their Lavosh cracker bread, baguettes and loaf breads. they have Illy coffee, one of the best. Only a few tables, but still a great place for breakfast or lunch.

I love the smell of freshly baked bread. Here at the Walla Walla Bread Company you can experience that delightful aroma while purchasing a loaf to take home or you can stay awhile and enjoy a sandwich and a cup of espresso. The restaurant eating space is very small, only room for a few tables, so I hope you get lucky, if you turn up hoping for a table. On this visit, we just purchased a loaf of multi-grain bread so that we could enjoy it at home. Maybe next time we’ll stay a little while longer. If you are interested in watching some of the behind-the-scenes activity in the baking process, you can take a peek through the windows into the back room. One loaf of bread with tax is $ 5.40 so this is not your average supermarket mass-produced bread but a hand-crafted delicacy. Definitely worth another visit.

Decided to pick up a loaf of bread here after noticing their ad in the local high school’s newspaper. Inside the shop, there is a small area to sit and enjoy coffee or a food item(several tempting items on display). I noticed at least one person on a laptop(must have free wi-fi). I can’t comment on the ambiance or lack of, as I didn’t stay, but most of the tables were filled. Based on that, it must be an OK place to hang out. Several types of bread were available to purchase, and it was difficult deciding. Multi-grain looked like a safe bet, and it is delicious. The crust has that perfect crunchiness and what flavor! I’ll definitely be back to try out some of their other bread products and maybe even their coffee.

Great for catering! My guests are still talking about the delicious meal. They are wonderful to work with; responsive, helpful and professional. One warning make sure you understand your contract and have a good head count, you will not be keeping any extras.

I had their veggie burger and it is handmade onsite and served with carmelized onions and goat cheese. The BEST veggie burger I’ve ever had. Others had their roast beef sandwich that was very good. We bought a loaf of sour dough/wheat bread to take home.

Been to walla walla several times and have to say this place is a gem. Whether you eat lunch or just pop in for a treat — everything is fresh and delicious. Have to say the French macaroons are my favorite, try the salted caramel.

Best bagel I’ve had in a very long time. The asparagus soup… not so good. I dumped both cups(mine & my guests) very very watery & bland. So very disappointed about that. Friendly service, sorta messy, fun spot to stop. Will return for more bagels.

We enjoyed our bagels very much and will probably come back for lunch. For the suggestion box: move your planters off the top railing at your sidewalk seating. Id like a view of the activity on the street and not the view of a wooden planter. The people beside of us even tried to take theirs off.

The only thing we had were baguettes so the rating is based solely on their taste. We bought 2 fresh baguettes at the Saturday outdoor market. One we had with dinner that evening and the other we carried with us to snack on while we toured wineries. Both were outstanding. Crispy dark brown exterior shielding a springy, airy, soft, white interior. It was a great accompaniment to wine tasting, tearing off pieces as we sipped wine. And excellent with a dinner of pasta(tossed in an olive oil dressing), zucchini mixed with fresh herbs and chevre(from Monteillet Fromagerie), and a bottle of Walla Walla red wine.

I was in Walla Walla on business, holed up in my hotel room, and ordered 2 sandwiches from WWBC… I’m so smart… these were stellar yummies! The first, was the oft mentioned veggie burger… now, don’t go jumping to conclusions… this isn’t one of those cardboard-tasting frozen patties. They make their own, fry it crispy brown, and top it with goat cheese. The sandwich is topped with all the fixins including asparagus(as they say, «as many local veggies as we can cram on top)! I also asked for a side salad of baby greens that tasted garden fresh. The second sandwich was chicken and mushroom with smoked chicken breast, mushrooms, bacon, goat cheese, sundried tomato pesto on crusty French bread. Incredibly deep in flavor and texture. Both sandwiches were on homemade rolls and bread! If I am ever back in beautiful Walla Walla, this will be my go-to restaurant. (btw, they were nice enough to deliver… thanks Stacy and delivery person!)

Next to finding local beer I also love looking for local bakeries. We stopped in here while waiting for a table at a breakfast place just around the corner to pick up some bread to bring back to Portland with us. I bought a loaf of the cinnamon bread and a plain bagel. The bagels looked good, but I’d probably skip on them the next time. Tasted more like an english muffin than a bagel. Oh well. I’ve been eating the bread this week and have really enjoyed it.
