Good good stuff. Always fresh always friendly. Gotta stop in if your in town. Chicken enchilada soup is great and served daily. Bread is like it was made by grandma.

Food was awesome! Chicken enchilada soup amazing and county club just as good! Very clean place with friendly staff, for how busy they were service was speedy. No place in Walla Walla for this type of food can compare! Prices seemed like they could charge much more for the quality of food you get! A MUSTTRY!

Excellent sandwiches. Salads are not as good as Graze, but the sandwiches and soups are superb. Customer service is also excellent. I often order for work, and the fact that they deliver is a real plus.

I ordered online through their site. It was very easy to order. I love how they have it set up. I ordered their California Dreamin’ sandwich. It’s very bland, which is very disappointing considering I spent $ 8 on a sandwich… the herb cream cheese doesn’t taste like it was flavored at all, the tomatoes were old and mushy the cucumbers were a few days old. The bread was fresh, the meat was fresh as well as the avacado. The complimentary cookie tasted like tin foil. The pickle was ok. Overall not satisfied with this place. However it’s better than fast food.

I love the place! If you havent already tried it, their Chicken Enchilada and Potato Soups are a must! In addition to the scrumptious variety of soups and sandwiches, the customer service is on point! They close at 3:30 and I went into the place today at 3:32 and unlike most places where workers are in a mad rush to clock out and tell you they’re closed, the staff rewarmed the soup for me and was as courteous as they could possibly have been. If I owned the place, I’d be proud to call them my employees! Five Stars for Stone Soup!

Excellent stop for lunch for 3 generations of women and something for every taste and at very reasonable prices. Good selection of yummy soups and a wide selection of made to order sandwiches. The Butternut Squash soup was especially satisfying on a cool Fall day. They even provide a little sweet treat with each meal! Definitely worth a return visit.

I’m not sure why but it seems like every time I come in for lunch the price gets higher and higher. The food is good, especially the chicken enchilada soup, but it’s far from gourmet. Today I paid $ 11 for ½ a sandwich and a small bowl of soup(and that’s not including any side). It’s sad to see another Walla Walla restaurant fall into the hoiti toiti we live in wine country so you can afford outrageous prices attitude. A sandwich is still a sandwich and another lunch option is crossed off my list.

Poor Walla Walla. Based on the busy flow, people really don’t have much choice here. The potato salad was super blah! The Reuben was so oddly cooked it was like the cheese had been cooked days before the rest. The so-called Enchilada soup is a nightmare concoction that only those who live on TV dinners would call good or great. The cookie was nice and the two treats I took for a friend turned out ok. Turns out it is a good bakery, but should leave the food part behind. I was asked to use them as a caterer for an office lunch… I’m really not happy about that. The cashier was nice, but the unfriendly wierdos that brought the meals around were a real downer.

The Chicken Enchilada soup is some of the best stuff I’ve ever had the privilege to taste. Real tasty sandwiches(had the Southwest Turkey) and the sourdough bread that was used was some real great stuff. Love that they deliver, hate that they have some real goofy hours. I’d recommend if you’re looking for something around lunchtime for sure.

Their sandwiches are pretty good for lunch, reasonably priced and it’s always pretty busy. They’ve also always met my picky eating requests for substitutions on their sandwiches.

This is one of the few reliable places that deliver to the office for lunch so I’ve eaten from here several times; however the fact that there are few choices should not take away from the greatness of Stone Soup at all. The soups are all excellent and change daily and weekly. Warning, the sandwiches and salads are both yummy and enormous. In fact I routinely order with the plan to take half home for dinner(and sometimes even lunch the next day). So although it ain’t cheap, the portions and the sides(homemade potato and pasta salad or chips) and fresh baked cookies that come with everything definitely even things out. Particularly good are the country club sandwich, Reuben, cooks salad and corn chowder. The addition of online ordering seals the deal for me.

I think Stone Soup is top notch! I’ve loved all the soups I’ve had there, especially the chicken enchilada that is now a permanent feature on their menu! It’s not too thick to be overwhelming but still warm and filling. I’ve only had a couple of their sandwiches and they’re pretty good. They have a lot of bread options. I wouldn’t say that they are particularly special, just a general good sandwich. One thing I like is that they point out a few lite sandwiches on their menu if you are looking for a healthier option. They dish out orders pretty fast, you only have to wait for a couple minutes. Best part? They give you a little cookie! It’s a nice little sandwich shop atmosphere and I usually bump into someone I know there!

I love their vege sandwich on rye swirl bread. It is so good. And I love how they always give you a cookie with your meal.

4⁄5 stars because they are a little pricey. Fabulous fresh soup. Delicious fresh sandwiches. But please do yourself a favor and pass on the cookie. They are dry and so bland. My toddler wouldnt even eat it. If you go during lunch, be prepared to wait for a table. Or take it back to work. Parking can be tough to find.

Summary: Outstanding Sandwiches & Soup While passing through Walla Walla recently, we Google’d «Walla Walla Restaurant» to find something good to eat — and discovered a few reviews raving about Stone Soup. This piqued our interest, so we plugged the address(105 E Alder St.) into our GPS and off we went. Stone Soup is a couple streets off the main drag(if there is such a thing) in Walla Walla, in a quiet area — we arrived about 3PM and were easily able to find free street parking. The restaurant was fairly empty — it appears that their busy time is lunch, but I can’t verify how crowded it is then. We each ordered sandwiches(veggie for my wife, turkey for my son, and I had the Deli sandwich), and each was fresh and delicious. The sandwiches were made and delivered quickly, and the prices were reasonable. The place itself is clean and well-lit and, if it warms up a bit more, the outside seating area would be a nice place to eat. The people working here were friendly and helpful. This is *exactly* the type of place I wanted to find. People, if you’re in Walla Walla and want a good sandwich at a reasonable price, you’d be hard pressed to do better than Stone Soup. Too bad I can’t find something like this in the Bellevue, WA area…
