Worst tasting room experience I have had in years. Stopped by during GOTR. Trust was only doing glass pours. Fine no problem it’s a big weekend. Except $ 8 for a 2 oz pour of rose and a declaration that it is a normal restaurant pour. Snobby and rude. Too bad wine was decent. But we have too many great wines from great people in Washington state to choose from — no need to buy here.

We walked into Trust on a Wednesday! The wines were fabulous and our time there was lovely. The winemaker started off by pouring us a 2014 Riesling — YUM~o! Not too sweet, not too dry. Then there was a Cab Franc Rosé… Yes, I said a Cab Franc Rosé!!! I’m a Rosé freak… this is one I purchased for my cooler ;) Didn’t last long. We also had a 2012 Walla Walla Syrah and it filled my palate with such amazing flavor :) Steve was great and so were his wines. Will be back. Highly recommend making this a stop!

Best tasting experience I’ve had. Steve is super knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations for dinner and ccocktails in the area. Their riesling and rose were phenomenal, along with every red we tasted. Definitely a great stop for tasting. Less awkward than most tasting rooms. Music in the background is a big help for that.

2.5 hours wasted. We drove all the way out to the airport wineries only to find Trust had changed locations. Which I suppose is as much the Visitor’s Guide’s fault as it was Trust’s. When we finally got all the way back to the downtown location, another couple was spread out at the tasting counter. Since the person pouring the wine never acknowledged us, or told us the procedure, we assumed the bench inside the door was there so people could politely wait their turn for a tasting. So we sat and waited. I noticed they did not have ice wine on their menu as the guide had suggested(our main reason for pursuing one winery so fervently) so that was a little disappointing. And we waited. I mean, all the employee had to do was say, «oh we’ll make room for you!» Or, «I’ll be with you in a moment!» or at the very, very least – «can I help you?» Instead, he said nothing, and the lady enjoying her tasting came over and asked my mate and me if we had someone parking the car. So I knew we weren’t invisible. We waited a good 10 minutes for the couple ahead of us to finish their tasting. And to occupy our(completely sober) selves we took some pics next to the neat wine tree. The employee and the couple stopped and stared at us while we did. It got so awkward that we left, had a legit tasting where the employee did say something to us, bought a bottle of wine elsewhere, then went baaack to Trust for our turn to taste. Surprisingly, that same couple was still there, dominating the counter and all of the employee’s time. Rude. So I still have no idea if you need some sort of tasting reservation, are supposed to push your way up to the counter and DEMAND service, or are supposed to wait on their bench indefinitely. I wasn’t going to waste any more time on my birthday on Trust to find out though.. .

This was the first cellar we stopped by over the weekend to do some tasting. Trust Cellars really let our day start off right. Steve was very nice and knowledgeable. We spent about 1 hr there tasting along with tasting at Château Rollat where Trust and Château Rollat share the same tasting room. Ended up buying a bottle of Syrah 89% syrah 11% cab

(Disclaimer: this review is based on a visit two years ago.) Trust was pleasant – nice person behind the counter, nice wines, nice ambiance, nice experience after a couple years of aging. But there was nothing here I fell in love with.
