The vertical Merlot tasting is worth it, but I think that I would do the red wine flight. My wife did the white wine flight and she really enjoyed the reserve Chardonnay and Riesling.

Stopped in here to do a little wine tasting. The tasting room reminds me of a mountain lodge. Big stone fireplace and a stone bar for wine tastings. No appointment is necessary for a tasting. We were the first people there on this day, so we had the whole place to ourselves. The person providing the tasting was really nice and knew the wines. We tasted several white wines and several red wines. Most grapes are Bordeaux varietals, though they do have some Syrah, Riesling, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. They source fruit from all over Eastern Washington. The Merlot from the Champoux vineyard was my favorite and I really enjoyed their Sauvignon Blanc. The have a really big porch outside where you can sit and enjoy your wines. You are able to play corn hole out here if you so choose. They also have 3-hole par 3 golf. They have the clubs, balls and tees for you to use. My wife and I decided to play a little golf while having our wine since this was not something we have done before. This was a really nice place to stop, lots of fun, relaxing environment, good wines and a very friendly staff. You cannot go wrong by coming here and trying all the wines they offer!

The wines are especially good. We had a riesling that had just the right amount of residual sugars and was not too dry. This is what I call a destination winery. Good but not especially elite wines. Very nice tasting room/estate. Patio where you can spread your picnic lunch to enjoy a Three Rivers wine with(they will even give you glasses to use). There is also a small 3 hole pitch and putt golf course on site. All in all, a VERY enjoyable place to laze away a sunny afternoon.

Very good wines with outstanding staff in tasting room. We had 8 people in our group and a dog. Staff made us feel at home making it a very enjoyable experience. Thank you

The location on Unilocal is wrong. Old highway 12 runs parallel and south of highway 22… the winery is west of town, not downtown Walla Walla.

Bold, juicy reds — some old, some new. Very reasonably priced, too. An awesome deck for enjoying a glass and soaking up some rays.

One of my favorite wineries around Walla Walla. Make sure to get a taste of the Malbec and good deals on cases if you are lucky!

Wow. this place was an idyllic setting for one of my best friend’s wedding. Amazing location — absolutely gorgeous, helpful staff, decent wine. Wonderful memories.

Don’t bother. Wines were bland and boring with little or no depth. The tasting room is nice enough, but not our favorite on the tour.

If you’re looking for a big, splashy, touristy wine gift shop with mediocre wines, this is the place for you! The building and grounds are lovely with lots of parking for big tour buses and crowds but, in my opinion, their wine was less than memorable.

Spectacular view, nice building, good wines with high prices… Like this place but can’t say I love it when value is weighed in the equation…

This is a very pretty stone building that is conveniently located right off the highway outside of Walla Walla. There is a night deck overlooking the free 3 hole golf course(they provide the clubs). Courtney was our pourer and she poured us both the reserve list(about 8 – 9 wines), even though I just ordered the regular. We bought a couple bottles and perused the boutique-like gift shop. Good stop on your tasting tour. Would return again.

Three Rivers is on the edge of town. And, because the tasting room is right on the highway, it doesn’t exactly feel like wine country. The facility is large compared to many local tasting rooms, but has all the charm of a touristy gift shop because, well, that’s what it is. I don’t recall the wine or the service seeming all that special, although it certainly wasn’t bad. Disclaimer: like the first review, this review is based on a visit nearly two years ago. Looking at the latest review, I don’t think much has changed…

During my time in Washington I made several trips to Walla Walla for the wineries. Three Rivers was by far the most memorable. My girlfriend at the time and I would buy a bottle, help ourselves to the cheese and sausage tray, and sit on the back deck. Enjoy three holes of golf afterwards. It’s free. Good memories from this place, and the staff was always great. Even when my girlfriend turned her golf club into a shovel on the first hole of golf. The tasting room is cluttered with gift items, though. Really, they could do without the sweatshirts and meat rub they’re selling. Now that I’m in Alabama, I can still find Three Rivers wine at a local shop. Nothing goes better with memories than tannins and headaches.
